The guy who will dress up in a silly, patriotic costume, stalk his way through a small town event, and pick off men, women, children, police, and politicians alike, should they so much as turn their back on an Independence Day fireworks display….. We’re starting to get the feeling that not everyone has an uncle like that. We need to go make a few phone calls.

Oh well, everything will probably be fine. Let’s trip balls!!!” It happens every time, and no, usually everything is not fine.

Episode 242 - Blame It On The A-A-A-A-A-Annabelle

Listen, we are totally ok admitting that we played with dolls when we were kids. In fact, we think it’s kind of weird that some people don’t play with dolls. What’s not to love about them? They’re cute, they’re cuddly, they can be your friend when nobody else is around to play, they occasionally move all by themselves, sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night and they are watching you sleep, even though you are sure that you left them downstairs when you went to bed…. Sometimes you look into their lifeless, glassy eyes and you know, you just know, that if you look away for even a second, they will be about 4 feet closer to you when you look back. Plus, that whole thing where they act as conduits for demons!!! Seriously, what’s not to love.

This week, we grabbed some Deal With The Devil Pale Ale from 18th Street Brewery, and got all dolled up to continue out exploration of the Wan-iverse. Cheers!!!

I mean, how pissed would you be if someone told you that you can’t take it with you when you die, so you blow all of your money, then one day, you wake up undead and broke? Honestly, most people in Hollywood are the equivalent of rich zombies right now. We could just got ask them.

It feels like finally coming home after being away for a long time, but better, because there is no over-bearing mother to tell us to stop “running around with damn, dirty whores”(her words not ours), or weird ex-army buddies who have come back from the dead to steal our kids, as is the typical experience for most people when returning home.

Episode 236 - Getting Toasty!

Round One. Fight.

This week the nostalgia flows through our veins like white-hot lightning, because in the landscape of pure awesomeness that is 90's video game film adaptations, one series reigns supreme on the blood-soaked fields of Kombat. From the cutting edge fight choreography, and state-of-the-art green screen technology, to the stunning CGI, and cornball white dudes playing ancient asian elder gods, it's really hard to classify these films as anything less than a flawless victory of 90's cinema.

That's right, this week we spent a long weekend in Outworld for a look at the Mortal Kombat films. We got so caught up in the 90's goodness of the first two, that we had to stretch this one into a two-parter. So, grab some Scorpion Bowl IPA from Stone Brewing, start a fire, and get TOASTYYYY!!!
