In addition to the loss of jobs (which was predicted), security threats and supremely engineered deceptions ("deep fakes") were just some of the anticipated problems with this new technology. In Florida, Ron DeSantis announced he's running for President. In Seattle, Washington, Mother's Day weekend was set ablaze with record temperatures well above 85°F. This is approximately 20°F warmer than usual for this time of year in the pacific northwest.
