We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." In Uvalde, Texas parents of children victimized in the May 2022 school shooting continue to receive details about why nearly 2 dozen mostly non-white people were killed. Some are still trying to understand the seeming cowardice of the local police response. In Gus' beloved Seattle, 68-year-old navy veteran and privileged black male Harold Powell was nearly shot to death while meditating near the pier 55 Starbucks downtown.
