He and former Former First Lady Michelle Obama championed the Obama Presidential Library for Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Obama attended a press event at the location. However, construction work came to a screeching halt this week after workers reportedly found a noose. It's unclear if this was a message for the former president, the black and non-white construction workers, or all of the above. Speaking of politics, Wes Moore became the first black person elected governor of the state of Maryland. In addition to a negro governor-elect, the same state voters also approved recreational cannabis - as did the state of Missouri.
