Many non-white people survived another Black History Month of phony acknowledgements and insincere gratitude from White co-workers. Only for March 1st to be hijacked as "Staff Appreciation Day." We also discuss the St. Louis, Missouri bus mechanics and drivers who called out sick in response to a noose being placed on a bus. Amin Mitchell, a privileged black male mechanic, reported that days before the noose incident, a White supervisor instructed him to make minimal repairs to the bus's break system. Mitchell questioned this plan on the grounds of safety - which is constantly compromised in the System of White Supremacy. We also noted the large number of non-white people who reported that they were rebuked or publicly humiliated by their White co-workers when they committed no infraction and completed all tasks as instructed.
