On this month's Cabaret Room - discover cabaret artists you don't hear on mainstream radio singing songs from The Great American Songbook, a New York duo showcasing their album of all new cabaret songs, plus a rare visit to the UK by a piano duo playing ragtime in London.

As well as all that our album of the month is something a little bit special.

This month we feature a new album from singer Tierney Sutton. The Bill Charlap Trio join us in the Piano Room. British singer Clare Teal sings a beautiful ballad and a rare visit for one night only in the UK from pianist Marcus Robert.

We also take a trip over the pond to California to feature some West Coat Cool from Marcus Robert.

This months visit to the Cabaret Room is full of some impressive

performances from singers Christine Tobin and Claire Martin. We also celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Royal Bopstars vocal group.

Our venture into the Piano Bar is full of intrigue and surprise with a collection of fifteen new songs we believe you will not have heard before from a couple of New York songwriters/cabaret performers that are a joy to hear.

This month sees us choose something a little different for Album Of The Month. The difference is not the singer Jacqui Dankworth but her choice of musicians. Namely The Brodsky Quartet who are usually found playing in the classical concert hall.

Other highlights this month include cabaret legend Steve Ross, as well as Daryl Sherman and a rare visitor to the UK from singer/pianist Billy Stritch.

This month's Cabaret Room features a couple of treats in the form of songs from Giacomo Gates brand new album You.

We also play songs from American singers Dena Derose and Carlo Cook, cabaret performer Barb Jungr sings a classic Jacques Brel song, plus we have three contrasting pianists visiting The Piano Bar.

This month's visit to The Cabaret Room features a number of vocal gems. We look at showcasing a track from Samara Joy's (winner of the 2019 Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Competition)new album, a piano duo rarity from veteran Dick Hyman & John Sheridan, as well as a surprise edition to the famous Gershwin brothers George & Ira that you might not be aware of.

This month's Cabaret Room features a number of artists appearing at a special ten day event at the Soho Jazz Club in London. Artists appearing alongside singer Ian Show include Claire Martin, Madeline Bell and Clare Teal alongside musicians such as trumpeter Guy Barker and sax player Tony Kofi.

Over in New York there is a new venue to highlight, as well as news of artists appearing at iconic venues such as Birdland and the Blue Note Jazz Club.

In this months visit to the Cabaret Room there are a number of seasonal

songs that you might not be familiar with - including I Don't Want Nuthin For Christmas, to the intriguing and elegant Manhattan In December. We also have a surprise visitor to The Piano Bar, playing a classic Christmas song everyone should recognise.

In this month's Cabaret Room four of the singers (include American singer/pianist Daryl Sherman) are currently appearing live in London.

We also feature a new album featuring Samara Joy, who won the  Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Award in 2019, as well as some brilliant pianists from our trip to The Piano Bar.

This month's podcast is devoted to the songs of the fabulous Irving Berlin, who over his 101 years wrote well over a thousand songs, writing music for such notable stage and film musicals Annie Get Your Gun, White Christmas, Call Me Madam, Easter Parade and Top Hat.
