  • Where Is My Mind?

It started with cookies. Specifically, with walking to the pantry for flour and coming back with a plan to make panang curry instead. If you have ever done something like this, welcome to the overstimulated brain club. In this episode we follow one woman's observation of her own neural pathways for an entire day and discover something quietly convicting: she never forgets her phone. Ever. Not once. But the first piece of jewelry her husband ever bought her? Gone. In this episode we ask what it means when the thing that never gets left behind is a screen full of work emails, and what it would look like to rewire those same neural pathways toward Jesus instead. Paul had the answer two thousand years before smartphones existed. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Where is your mind today?

  • Under the Safety of His Wings

August arrived with a full calendar, a tight schedule, and a sudden corporate level panic attack about resource allocation and ROI. As it turns out, the real resource problem was not August at all. It was Psalm 90:4-6, Moses, a thousand years passing like yesterday, and a sneaky attempt by Satan to make fleeting human life feel like evidence that God does not love us. Vile Satan. In this episode we power through the panic, correct a misreading of Scripture, visit Revelation 13 and the Book of Life established before the foundation of the world, and land right where Jesus said we would be, tucked safely under His wings like a hen gathering her chicks. Your name is in His Book. You are worth His blood to Him. He knows it even when you do not. And He knows best.

  • My Treasure, My Shepherd

It started with a German Shepherd who would not give up her ball. Not for treats, not for commands, not for anything. She would snatch it from thin air with the dexterity of a gazelle and disappear under the bushes to guard her hoard like a tiny furry dragon. Sound familiar? In this episode we watch one dog's journey from hoarding to sharing, and realize somewhere along the way that we have been doing the exact same thing with God. Our plans, our comfort, our control, our treasures, all stashed under the bushes while the Good Shepherd keeps tossing balls and waiting patiently for us to figure it out. The move from self-sufficiency to trust is the whole journey. And the balls always come back. I shall not want.

  • Protected in The Storm

What happens when you set out to rescue someone and end up needing rescuing yourself? In this episode we get honest about spiritual drift, the kind that does not announce itself but creeps in one sociable evening at a time, until you look up and realize you are no longer where you started. We talk about a banshee, a rough few months of cleaning up lies and false accusations, and the God who healed it all and called it Jehovah Rapha. We also spend time with Peter, who stepped out of the boat with his eyes on Jesus and started sinking the moment he looked away. The good news is the same for Peter as it is for us: the moment you cry out, the hand is already reaching. You are in the storm. You are also protected. Keep your eyes on Him.

  • Chisel, Ouch, Chisel, Ouch: Stunning Christian

A visit to the Louvre, a haunting veiled woman carved from solid marble, and one quote from Michelangelo changed the perspective. In this episode we start in the sculpture halls of Paris, travel to Florence to stand in front of David, and land somewhere unexpected: inside the marble block of our own fallen nature, where the Master Craftsman has already been working. The masterpiece is already there. It always was. God made us in His perfect image and Christ is simply chiseling away everything that does not belong. It pinches sometimes. It hurts sometimes. But "They do not belong. He knows." And the stunning Christian emerging from the marble? Worth every chisel stroke.

  • Special Dignitaries & Ambassadors of The Kingdom

A word jumped off the page during Holy Hour this morning: Ambassador. One word that revealed identity. In this episode we travel back to a young man who tried to impress a girl with his father's diplomatic immunity, wonder whatever became of him, and then discover that every single believer carries a status far more extraordinary than any earthly dignitary ever could. We are ambassadors for Christ, sent into hostile territory, carrying the King's authority, protected by His immunity, and trusted to represent His Kingdom with decorum. Scripture has something to say about every aspect of that identity, and it is all good news. How can a day filled with such realization not be joyful?

  • Christ Is Making Beautiful Jewelry

A Charles Spurgeon sermon on Spotify introduced a phrase that stopped everything: "Adam in you." We have all heard "Christ in you," but have we stopped to think about "Adam in you?" In this episode we explore what happens when you place Adam and Christ side by side, the flesh versus the Holy Spirit, the fallen nature versus the indwelling Savior, and discover that the outcome was never really in doubt. He won. The Adam in you never had a chance. But if that is true, why does every day still feel like rinse, lather, and repeat? We talk honestly about the invisible transformation happening beneath the surface of our daily failures, the subtle nudges, tugs, and goads of sanctification, and why you have to beat gold to make beautiful jewelry. The piece you are becoming is already in His hands. Trust the process.

  • Salvation in a Hardware Store

Before God opened her eyes to the truth, the way, and the life, a woman who cannot tell a box cutter from a knife wandered into a hardware store looking for the perfect gift for her husband. What she walked out with was a router something or other, and a small stone engraved with the words "My God, in Him I will trust." That stone still sits on her desk today. In this episode we meet the stranger who gave it to her, compare him to one of the most overlooked heroes in all of Scripture, and ask a simple but powerful question: could you be someone's Ebed-Melech today?

  • Find Your Tribe: No Dog Left Behind

What do a vegetable loving dog that thinks she is a cow, a supposedly alpha dog that comes home with dead birds, and a ball obsessed Shepherd that would choose fetch over food have in common? They are the pack. And they would not have it any other way. In this episode we watch an evening ritual in the yard turn into a surprisingly profound lesson about Christian community. If the bride of Christ functioned like a well run pack of dogs, embracing the Alpha, the Beta, and yes, even the Cow, we might just fulfill the second commandment more naturally than we think. We also talk about a simple side note from a John Lovell sermon that changed everything, and why a self confessed dog lover had to work harder than most to find her tribe. Spoiler: it was worth every effort. No dog left behind.

  • Falling In Love

What do romantic comedies, the Swiss Alps, and the Gospel of John have in common? More than you might think. In this episode we explore what happens when love grows not from a lightning bolt moment but from peeling back layers of substance, one revelation at a time. We talk about a husband who was not love at first sight but turned out to be a happily ever after, and then we make the turn into something far greater. John did not just write about Jesus. He wrote like someone hopelessly, completely, breathlessly in love with Him. And reading his Gospel this time around did something unexpected. It made us want that too. If you have ever wished your love for Jesus ran deeper, this one is for you. The journey never ends and the view just keeps getting more spectacular.
