The first time I heard Dennis Modry speak, I immediately wanted him on my podcast.  Tracking him down was no easy feat, but I was determined and he obliged!

Dennis has been an opponent to lockdowns and mandates since basically day one.  He’s been active in politics, working with both our current leaders and many from the past.  

He’s also a retired heart surgeon, so his perspective from both the medical and political realm is exactly what the doctor ordered.

It's good to have reasons behind why you believe the things you do. 

 

Over the past few months we’ve heard various perspectives on how the C-virus has been affecting individuals. We've discussed personal stories, presented evidence, and discussed disagreements.  On today's show my guest Stephenie Smith and I talk over why she’s against the mandates.

 

Stephenie is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor and has been studying for a degree at a local college.  She has been backed into a corner over these mandates and recently wrote a letter to our federal and provincial governments detailing how they are violating not only her rights and freedoms, but those of everyone in this nation.  She represents thousands of college students who feel the same way.

Last Christmas I invited my friend, Shannon VanNatter on the podcast.  She and I talk on the phone almost every week about life, our struggles, our victories and whatever comes up.

 

So, as tradition would warrant, I asked her on again for a chat about life around Christmas.

You don't need me to tell you that we live in divisive times. 

 

Even before the pandemic, things were getting rough, but now it seems even harder to discuss topics we differ on. 

 

Aaron Kauffman is a pastor, father, and friend of mine. However, he and I disagree on some of the finer points on the vax and the church's response.  And while we do touch on that a bit, today we're mostly here to discuss how we should interact and react to those we disagree with.
