This week, Drewby and Yergy head north to Canada to discuss the tragic case of Alex Radita, a young boy diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as a toddler. The son of an immigrant family from Romania, Alex was denied his insulin and diabetic testing supplies. His parents, Emil and Rodica Radita, thought prayer would heal him and that he wasn't that sick. They outright refused to believe that Alex actually had diabetes. Of course, the prayer didn't work, and Alex succumbed to his illness at just 15 years old.
