Valerie was a beautiful woman who experienced a lot of tragedy in her short life. Valerie battled cancer - a fight she thankfully won. She'd been divorced from a man who was unfaithful to her. Even through these challenges, Valerie keep a bright outlook and was steadfast in her faith in God. When Valerie met Luc Tieman, a Maine native serving in the US Army, she thought she met her prince charming.
