    TROUBLE AT THE FBI

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 2nd day of September in the year of our Lord 2022. I will be talking about the FBI and the accusations about it and the Department of Justice that have come to light over the last few years. Is the FBI still the nation’s premier law enforcement agency and above reproach or has it devolved into just another corrupt agency acting as the muscle of the Democrat Party.

There are so many scandals inside the FBI right now that it is hard to keep them straight until you realize that they are all tied together. The motto of the FBI is Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity, and I’m sure that it accurately describes most of the men and women out there on the front lines. It does not, however, accurately describe the leadership of the FBI which appears to be irretrievably corrupt.

When I say corrupt, I don’t mean they sell their badges for money like some traffic cop in a third world country. No, the FBI leadership is far worse than that, having tarnished their badges and their honor in a long list of vile, partisan activities on behalf of the globalist forces that run this administration and constantly tell us what we are supposed to believe, who we are supposed to vote for, and that all lies are truth, and all truth is lies, but let’s look at the evidence.

During the presidential election campaign of 2016 and especially after Trump was elected the entire intelligence community of the United States was weaponized to prevent the election of Donald Trump and ensure the election of Hillary Clinton. When that part of the plot failed, the plotters continued after the election to smear and discredit then President Trump and his administration. Originally the plot was given the codename operation crossfire hurricane and was launched by the FBI in July 2016. The FBI set out to investigate the many links that were supposed to exist between officials of the Russian Government, Russian Bureaucrats, and Russian Oligarchs and the Trump Campaign.

I’m sure you are aware that the entire plot was invented by the mind of Hillary Clinton or those within her campaign. Once Crossfire Hurricane was launched, it became all Russia all the time and to some extent that same ideology still exists today long after the entire thing was proven to be a hoax. The result has been the destruction of a once proud organization which inserted itself unconstitutionally into partisan politics. I wonder if the corruption of the 2016 campaign by the FBI and others was a one-off thing or evidence of corruption in high places going back many years.

You probably remember the Hunter Biden laptop scandal which came into public view in October 2020 just before the election. Hunter took his laptop to a repair shop in Delaware and did not pick it up. In addition to thousands of pornographic images of Hunter smoking crack with prostitute there was evidence of influence peddling of his father’s influence as vice president and soon to be president as well as many other potential crimes involving foreign countries including Communist China.

The New York Post broke the story and reported that the laptop was authentic and contained authentic information. The New York Times and many other media reported that it was just more Russian disinformation. Finally, almost a year after Biden was elected, the New York Times reluctantly admitted that it was authentic. A few days ago, Mark Zuckerberg CEO of Meta, formerly Facebook, went on the Joe Rogan podcast and made an admission that is still getting noticed by congressional committees.

Whistle blowers inside the FBI, apparently more than a dozen of them, contacted members of Congress and reported that the FBI had suppressed the reporting of the laptop scandal by various media outlets, one of which was Facebook. Mr. Zuckerberg said the FBI told him that there was a lot of Russian disinformation coming and to be vigilant of it. “You should be on high alert” the FBI said to him We know there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election, and we have it on notice that there is going to be some kind of dump that is similar. More than 50 former senior intelligence officials signed a letter claiming the laptop story had all the earmarks of a Russian disinformation operation. In other words, the FBI recruited social media companies as accomplices to its crimes against the American people.

Zuckerberg said dissemination of the story on Facebook decreased I supposed from the fear of the warning, but Twitter killed the story entirely. He was basically saying we knew this was a hyper political story so on our side of the political spectrum we didn’t censor enough, but to the other side they think we censored too much. He did reveal openly to the world that the Democrat Party wants censorship of unfavorable information, and the FBI is their enforcement arm. Like the old mafia movies where the two heavies go into a pizza joint in Philadelphia and say nice place you got here, be a shame if something happened to it

The agent in charge of delivering the FBI’s message was one Timothy Thibault, assistant special agent in charge of the Washington Field Office. Special Agent Thibault came under the ire of several senators and congressmen who sent the FBI letters of inquiry. He was at first suspended, then escorted out of the FBI building, and now it has come to light that he has resigned, restated as retired after 25 years of service. According to letters released by Senator Chuck Grassley and others Agent Thibault ordered the investigation closed in violation of FBI policy. He then attempted to mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be reopened in the future.

The whistleblowers told members of congress that FBI leadership told agents, “You will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop and the FBI is not going to change the outcome of the election again.” Senator Grassley writing to Christopher Wray, the Director of the FBI, said that it showed a deeply rooted political infection in the FBI. Senator Grassley and others think that agent Thibault’s head was offered as a sacrificial lamb hoping the rest would escape unscathed, but he said that would not happen. The senator said Thibault’s departure changed nothing about questions involving FBI bias in its investigations.

Agent Thibault was apparently open about displaying his bias on social media therefore I quote the agent in charge of this investigation: “I wrote that Hunter became a liability when Biden was the frontrunner in the Democratic primary because of his cushy position on the Burisma Board when Dad was vice-president. Senator Grassley then started a probe in August 2019 over the sale of a sensitive U.S. technology company to the Chinese government and an investment firm run by the sons of Joe Biden and John Kerry.”

If the laptop protection scheme was all it would be plenty but as usual it gets worse. Ironically, agent Thibault was part of the election integrity team for 2020, and in the Washington field office he was responsible for investigating political corruption. Note I said he was in charge of investigating, not creating, political corruption. It finally came to light after inquiries by Republicans, that the raid on Mar-a-Lago was run out of the Washington field office, not Florida as first reported. Guess who was in charge of the Washington Field Office, that’s right, Special Agent Timothy Thibault.

Former President Trump’s home is raided by the FBI apparently on very shaky to non-existent probable cause while the same FBI has not even looked at Hunter’s laptop or at Hunter personally despite him being the president’s son and despite open evidence of criminality that the whole world has seen. What this does for the credibility of the FBI and for that matter the reputation of the U.S. Government is obvious. The protection racket being run by those in power appears to be under serious pressure right now. Everyday we read in the New York Times some possible justification for the raid, but how can it possibly be justified when it was organized and conducted by totally corrupt people inside a totally corrupt organization. What could all this inquiry mean? Perhaps nothing, but if it means anything could it be that there are at least a few people left in the old FBI who are embarrassed about the chief law enforcement arm of a once great nation letting open criminality of the president’s son slide while others are prosecuted without evidence.

Thibault’s removal or retirement probably means something but who knows what. There has been an extremely intense amount of pressure coming from the senate about the open partisanship of the FBI in the laptop scandal, and perhaps someone up there is not a partisan two-bit hack for political interests. Christopher Wray the FBI Director and Merrick Garland, the attorney general, have not stopped being partisan political hacks on the payroll of enemies of freedom, but maybe the heat has been turned up to such a temperature that they can’t hide it anymore.

News coming from Mar-a-Lago this week has made it difficult to uphold the façade without some explanation that is yet to be forthcoming. The media, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party, has continued to flood us with negative speculative stories without any proof except what leaks out of the corrupt FBI. In the meantime, a judge ordered the release of the affidavit that was used to get the search warrant. Granted, it was redacted enough that only a forensic expert could decipher it, but apparently some of those did.

That is how we learned that despite the blackout the raid was run out of the Washington field office, not the local Florida office as they first reported. The head of that office Timothy Thibault was forced to retire and was escorted out of the building. Now we also learn that some of the documents taken were protected by attorney client privilege, in other words this was a fishing expedition to keep a political opponent out of future races. Agent Thibault violated and directed FBI agents to violate Donald Trump’s constitutional rights. Mr. Thibault and his organization obviously felt no obligation to obey the law themselves, only to impose their version of the law on others.

That attitude is reminiscent of the intelligence arms of other less than Democratic countries that we remember from history. Since he is known to be corrupt and a law violator, who knows what other crimes agent Thibault has committed during his 25 years. Obstruction of justice in the Clinton email non-investigation and the same in the Hunter laptop non-investigation to name just two. Whistleblowers have also reported to members of Congress that Agent Thibault urged or ordered them to pad domestic Violent extremist case counts to satisfy “performance metrics.”

This is all a lot more than rumor and innuendo because more than a dozen agents have been so disturbed by it that they risked their careers to contact congress with information. I suppose that they resent being dirtied by the leader’s filth and would prefer their reputations back. These agents are backing up their stories with documentary evidence of crimes. Mr. Timothy Thibault, Mr. Christopher Wray, Mr., Merrick Garland, and others are sworn to uphold the law. They are the nation’s first line of defense against terrorism, political corruption and such mundane crimes as bank robbery, money laundering, and human trafficking.

Instead of upholding the law they rig the system so the crimes can continue in the dark. I suspect that Christopher Wray and his boss Merrick Garland will try to sacrifice Agent Thibault in exchange for his retirement benefits, etc. I notice that Thibault has retained a Washington law firm so perhaps he has not bought in on the deal yet, or perhaps he is going to bring down the whole house with him.

Finally, folks, I’ve heard that a fish rots from the head down and maybe that is true of nations and empires as well. How can this nation survive such people in high places? Sunshine is always the best disinfectant so perhaps the sun will shine on the FBI, the DOJ, and the U.S. Government in general.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

  • New York’s Top Law Enforcement Officer

Darrell Castle talks about the Attorney General of the State of New York, Letitia James, and more specifically about a recent letter she sent to the Cornerstone Church in Batavia, New York in which she warned and threatened that church regarding an event the church planned to host. The event was held on August 12-13 of this year and was called The Re-Awaken America Tour.

NEW YORK’S TOP LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 26th day of August in the year of our Lord 2022. I will be talking about the Attorney General of the State of New York, Letitia James, and more specifically about a recent letter she sent to the Cornerstone Church in Batavia, New York in which she warned and threatened that church regarding an event the church planned to have and did have on August 12-13 of this year called The Re-Awaken America Tour.

The Attorney general’s letter concerns me for several reasons, but it is especially concerning because it demonstrates the growing belief that government is all powerful and without restraint. It cannot be restrained by anything especially the bill of rights. She campaigned for office on a plan to use all prosecutorial resources of her office to investigate and prosecute Donald Trump. She has been true to her promise, targeting Trump and his business interests relentlessly until finally Trump invoked his fifth amendment rights and refused to answer any more of her questions.

Her predecessor, Eric Schneiderman, had the same anti Trump attitude taking Trump before the courts of New York and the courts of public opinion. Deciding someone’s guilt before that person even takes office might be a little inappropriate but who cares any more about guilt or innocence. The target is either on your side of the political spectrum or he isn’t, and if he isn’t then he is fair game. Mr. Schneiderman eventually resigned in disgrace amid a multitude of sexual charges.

Using the office of the Attorney General to prosecute or “get” political enemies seems to be a tradition in New York. Schneiderman’s interim continued the same pattern by issuing a press release threatening to take down the entire Trump family. In fact, all the candidates for New York Attorney General in 2018 pledged to use the office to get Trump. Ms. James was particularly aggressive saying that “The president of the United States has to worry about three things: Muller, Cohen, and Tish James.”

She won the Democrat primary which in New York is the same as winning the general which she won anyway. She again pledged the immense power of the Ney York AG’s office to the task of getting Trump. Was he guilty of anything? It doesn’t matter because he was a political opponent which she disagreed with. Currently, the real law isn’t nearly as important as the political position of the prosecutor. If the prosecutor is unable to convict, she can at least make the target’s life miserable and that is a victory.

Investigating a person without a reasonable suspicion that a crime is being, or has been committed, without any probable cause is a federal civil rights violation. It can serve as the basis for harassment and civil rights lawsuits. Governments and their agencies are tasked with investigating crimes and suspicious activities which may reasonably lead to the conclusion that crimes are being committed, but legally they cannot simply set out to investigate a person without cause. It is necessary to also point out that New York is currently swamped by real crime, including murder and other violent felonies.

With that background on Ms. James and her office we come to the subject of this report. There have been a series of conferences perhaps 15 or 20 over the last couple of years billed as the Reawaken America Tour. They are apparently the brainchild of Clay Clark who scheduled the first one in Tulsa in April 2021. He had 50,000 requests for tickets but a venue that could only accommodate 4000. The event featured speakers such as General Michael Flynn, Mike Lindell of My Pillow fame, Judy Mikovits, Sherry Tenpenny, and many others. The conference, at first was a combination faith, freedom, and health type of thing.

In August of this year one of the conferences was scheduled in Western New York but the venue gave in to political pressure and cancelled. Cornerstone Church in Batavia, New York stepped in and said we will be happy to have it here. This conference was scheduled to include a speech by Eric Trump, the President’s son, and that is all it took for Ms. James to act. She sent a threatening letter addressed to General Flynn, Clay Clark, the event’s organizer, and the church itself.

In her letter she began by pointing out that she is New York’s top law enforcement officer and she said she had significant concerns. I wonder if she saw any irony in the fact that the top law enforcement officer of New York was in the very act of breaking the law. I wish I could set out her entire letter, but it is a little long for that so I will do my best to summarize the relevant parts.

She said she had significant concerns that the conference could spur extremist or racially motivated violence. She pointed out that the event was on the anniversary date of the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia held five years previously. My guess is that no one connected with the conference knew anything about the connection of dates and it was simple coincidence. She could have checked to see that 15 or 20 other conferences came off without any violence at all. Except for a few demonstrators they were uneventful.

She then went into the content of the speakers and the theories they supposedly espoused. She crossed the line there, 1st Amendment wise because she found herself insisting that she could control, at the risk of punishment, the content of the church’s message. She tried to tie them in to racially motivated mass killings without any evidence of that at all. What all this means is that the self-identified top law enforcement officer of the state of New York was engaging by written letter in an effort to chill the free speech and religious speech rights of a church. When such intimidation is conducted before the speech occurs that is called prior restraint and is strictly forbidden by US Supreme Court precedence.

A lawyer and a State Attorney General should be aware of such things, but perhaps she just didn’t care. If so, that would fit a common pattern of government officials today. I don’t care what is written in that book because what I say, my opinion, will constitute the law in this instance. The arrogance, the brute force intimidation of her words illustrates the adage that government represents brute force and not persuasion. She went on to remind the church that New York law prohibits racially motivated violence, harassment, or interference with another person in the exercise of their civil rights. Once again ironic because she was doing the very thing, she was warning the church about.

Now I am going to quote from her closing paragraph.

“The Office of the Attorney General has a duty to protect New Yorkers from extremist and racially motivated violence. We stand ready to investigate any violation of the laws above and, if necessary, to enforce them to the fullest extent available. You are therefore instructed to take all necessary steps to ensure that the event complies fully with the requirements of New York’s civil rights laws and all other applicable state and federal statutes.” She goes on to close with this at least partially redeeming line: “Your cooperation in ensuring a peaceful and law-abiding event will be greatly appreciated.”

Pastor Paul Doyle of Cornerstone Church said that when he read the letter, he felt like they were trying to bully us. He went on to say that “She’s insinuating that we’re involved in racist activity” and that it bordered on defamation. When asked for a comment by the blog site Legal Insurrection, he sent the following email:

“This letter is a deliberate and arrogant act of government intimidation and harassment. This letter is filled with inaccurate and irresponsible language. The past events that the Attorney General indicates had absolutely nothing to do with this event. It clearly has a politically partisan agenda to it by calling the views of some of the speakers as “extreme”.

By carelessly using the terms “racist” and “violence” it attempts to skew people’s perspective of the agenda of the event. I feel it is defamation of the event, its speakers, Cornerstone Church, and me personally as pastor of the church.”

If I were the pastor of the church the letter would have made me even more determined to go forward with the event. Her phrase “you are therefore instructed” is all it would take for me, to be even more determined. The event drew a crowd of 3,500 people and came off without incident. There was no violence whatsoever at the event, although there were plenty of protestors on the outside. Eric Trump spoke mostly about the Raid on Mar a Lago and the other FBI campaigns against his father. General Flynn said that a wall of fear is being built around our individual lives. He also talked about harassment from the FBI and DOJ.

The Attorney General’s letter indicates something that I have repeatedly tried to emphasize and that is political power. The problem is not so much Democrats and Republicans as it is political power which, like an addictive drug, corrupts the mind and the morals. It cannot be resisted even by the best of us and that is why the founders gave us the Constitution to control the addiction of political power. That document tells each branch of government what its powers are and what its powers are not. With each passing administration it becomes more and more irrelevant, and the out-of-control government gets more and more overbearing and intrusive. Government officials are no longer bound by law as much as their opinion.

To illustrate this point, I quote Mike LaChance at Legal Insurrection: “Attorney General James’ pre-emptive attempt to chill free and lawful speech is extremely troubling and has nothing to do with support for or opposition to Trump. The Attorney General, with her immense prosecutorial power, should be protecting freedom of speech and association, not taking substantive sides, and attempting to intimidate churches or other forums from hosting lawful events.”

Well amen Mike, that’s exactly right, but this Attorney General is so drunk with power and so full of herself that the Constitution and the law no longer matter to her. She ran for office on a ticket that amounts to prosecutorial abuse and the people of New York elected her. Very sad but also very true.

Finally, folks, this incident was caused by an elected official with the power to destroy who doesn’t mind using that power as a blunt instrument regardless of the law, but it is not what I at first thought it was. When I first heard the news reports coming out about the letter, I thought this is it the Fort Sumter moment I’ve been waiting for, Will this be the French Revolution or the American Revolution, but this is not the Fort Sumter moment although it is coming.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

  • Raid on Mar-a-Lago

Darrell Castle talks about the recent raid on former President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

    RAID ON MAR-a-LAGO

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 19th day of August in the year of our Lord 2022. I will be talking about the recent raid on former President Donald Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago in Florida. The raid was unprecedented in American history. The raid was conducted against arguably the regime’s chief critic and political opponent: The raid was three months before a critical mid term election that is predicted to be a rebuke of the regime’s policies: The raid was conducted by the regime’s DOJ and FBI proven to be very corrupt organizations. What should we make of all this?

The first thing the raid tells us is that the FBI, the DOJ, and the Biden Administration in general are liars who can’t even keep their lies straight between them. They will only admit the truth under extreme duress and when all the lies have been exposed to the world. Beset by contradictions, obvious lies, and just plain incompetence, the many explanations offered by the FBI come apart under examination. The lies make the real reason for the raid more obvious and that is that it was a political hit job on a former president to find something, anything, to keep him from running for and perhaps winning the presidency again.

The president didn’t know about the raid, and he had nothing to do with it. The old, he didn’t know until he heard it on the news story again. The administration set out to distance the president from the raid I would suppose in a vain attempt to make it appear that he was not trying to persecute a political opponent. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told us no one at the White House was given a heads up on the raid. No, that did not happen you know, he learned about it through the media. So, we are expected to believe that the Department of Justice with the Attorney General appointed by the President did not even brief the president on a planned FBI raid of a former president’s home.

Even though the raid was something that had never happened before in American history and it was something that could perhaps change the perception of the American people toward their government forever, the president knew nothing about it. With any president other than Joe Biden that assumption would be total fantasy, but with Biden I suppose he could have been having another lite intensity day during the briefing.

For days after the raid Newsweek reported that the Attorney General, Merrick Garland, was regularly briefed on the Records Act Investigation, but he insisted he had no prior knowledge of the date and time of the raid nor was he asked to approve it. So, again, officials of the administration raid the home of a former president and neither the Attorney General nor the President knew anything about it. The Justice Department appeared to be trying to throw the FBI under the bus, but the FBI decided to not fall on its sword and started to fight back.

Finally, Merrick Garland admitted that he had approved the search warrant. “I personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant in this matter.” Why would his staff and the administration try to shield him from that by lying about it. Why do they act guilty like someone caught in the act of a sloppy burglary like Watergate. Pretending that Merrick Garland was not aware was just a bit too unbelievable and the story started to unravel.

Later the Attorney General of the United States, the head of the Department of Justice, Merrick Garland, admitted that he had pondered over the decision of the raid for weeks before giving his approval. The decision was the subject of weeks of meetings between senior Justice Department people and the FBI. In order to request a warrant from their hand-picked Florida Judge, an affidavit had to be prepared listing what was alleged to be probable cause for the search and probable cause that a crime had been committed.

What did the affidavit allege? What was the probable cause for the search? What evidence did the Department of Justice have? Their answer: you can’t be allowed to know that because it would impede our investigation. A quote from DOJ lawyers; “There remain compelling reasons, including to protect the integrity of an ongoing law enforcement investigation that implicates national security, that support keeping the affidavit sealed.”

Maybe a redacted version is possible. “The government has carefully considered whether the affidavit can be released subject to redactions. The redactions necessary to mitigate harms to the integrity of the investigation would be so extensive as to render the remaining unsealed text devoid of use.” Since the affidavit remains sealed, the media is free to report any FBI claim about what Trump was suspected of having in his possession. They clearly don’t want to release any information that would reveal their lies and cover up. Now the same judge who issued the warrant says that maybe some of the information can be released.

Why would the 30 or more FBI agents plundering through Trump’s private office and his wife’s closet and lingerie take his passports? Trump accused the FBI of taking three passports one of which was expired and one of which was diplomatic. The passports obviously had nothing to do with national security or classified documents. Quickly the press jumped in to call him a liar. CBS News claimed that “the FBI was not in possession of former president Trump’s passports.” That phrase not in possession obviously means nothing. Why not just say we didn’t take the passports.

Well, it turns out they did take the passports, but as in virtually every instance their first impression when confronted with the question was to lie. Eventually the FBI said yes, we did recover three passports which were recovered by a filter team which weeds out privileged information. So, they did take his passports which more than likely exceeded their authority. Passports are not something you just scrape into a box. Probably they were in his private safe which was force opened. The FBI now says the passports will be returned in about two weeks.

This organization, the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, looks more and more corrupt, and more and more overbearing, we are not only above the law, we are the law, every minute. We have a regime from the White House on down through the Department of Justice and the FBI that seems to take pride in conducting the affairs of government like a third world Junta. Their lying dishonesty knows no bounds except whatever it takes to get Trump and keep him out of office. This is now how our democracy, as the Democrats like to phrase it, works.

Now, let’s consider this; the need for the warrant and the raid and the seizure of personal items and boxes of documents was a pressing and emergency need to protect national security. Can that be believed if the Attorney General took weeks to consider the evidence before deciding. How serious could any threat or emergency be and yet we are denied the information. If the probable cause was solid, why hide it from the public. Why wait 18 months to start an investigation if the national security was so at issue. A fishing expedition perhaps where facts are not as important as the dirt that they hope will stick to Mr. Trump inevitably.

All this bruhaha over the FBI and DOJ plundering the private home of a former president apparently caused some people to question the FBI and DOJ, but the Attorney General was quick to come to their defense.

“Let me address recent unfounded attacks on the professionalism of the FBI and Justice Department agents and prosecutors. I will not stand by silently when their integrity is unfairly attacked. The men and women of the FBI and the Justice Department are dedicated patriotic public servants every day. They protect the American people from violent crime, terrorism and other threats to their safety while safeguarding our civil rights. They do so at great personal sacrifice and risk to themselves. I am honored to work alongside them.”

Well, Mr. Garland you should be honored to work alongside most of them because most of them are just what you say. It is they who should not be honored to work alongside you, a political hack and lackey for a corrupt administration. You do quite well with the very corrupt director of the FBI, Mr. Christopher Wray. Who ordered FBI agents to concoct the pack of lies against a sitting president known as Russia gate? Who ordered the FBI to infiltrate a group of ignorant people in Michigan and formulate a plot to kidnap the governor, set it in motion, then arrest them? Who ordered FBI agents on January 6th to infiltrate demonstrators, lead them to the Capitol, and with the assistance of the capitol police open the doors and invite them in.? Who Ordered the protection of Hillary Clinton when she bleached 30,000 classified emails and finally who protected and continues to protect Hunter Biden and other Biden family members?

I admire the agents who are out there on the front lines with bank robbers, and terrorists every day, but I don’t think much of you Mr. Garland. In fact, I don’t admire you or the FBI director Mr. Christopher Wray who recently got up and walked out of a congressional hearing because he had a plane to catch. It turns out to be the FBI Gulfstream paid for by the taxpayers and he was taking it to his vacation home, clearly illegal but he’s above all that. You should both be fired and have your home raided to see if any evidence of any crime could be found.

Finally, folks, there’s no use in belaboring this story any longer so I will close for now. My conclusion is that it is impossible to know the truth anymore because the government top to bottom is a bunch of corrupt liars. Who can say what they took and what they found, and what they planted in former President Trump’s home. No matter what they tell us they discovered it is a lie and not to be believed because they had ample time to plant anything. It is likely that Donald Trump will be indicted by a corrupt regime looking for a show trial ala the Soviet Union.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

  • A Long Train of Abuses and Usurpations

Darrell Castle talks about the so-called Inflation Reduction Act passed this week by a dead-locked Senate 50-50 with Vice President Harris casting the deciding vote and sending it to the House where it is expected to be passed.

A LONG TRAIN OF ABUSES AND USURPATIONS

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 12th day of August in the year of our Lord 2022. I will be talking about the so-called Inflation Reduction Act passed this week by a dead locked Senate 50-50 with Vice President Harris casting the deciding vote. The bill is expected to pass the House as early as today.

This bill makes my blood boil when I read it or when I even consider it because it is reflective of a government that no longer feels the need to hide its contempt for the average working American. This bill is evidence of the nation’s continuing ruin by design and by incompetence. We are expected to believe that spending three quarters of a trillion dollars in the teeth of inflation approaching double digits will somehow reduce inflation.

The officials of this government talk a lot about taxing the rich, but apparently, they could not find enough of them to cover this monstrosity, so they have to go into your pockets and the pockets of every small business in America. They plan to do that by spending 80$ billion to hire 87,000 new IRS agents to harass and audit ordinary people who just want to make a living and feed their families.

The IRS will now be the largest government agency outside the military. The FBI, for example, has 35,000 employees many of which the agency sent to raid the home of a former president to further Democrat persecution of him, and to continue our descent into third world junta status. The state department has 23, 000, but the IRS will now have 165,000 employees. The Congressional Budget Office found that the hiring of 87,000 new agents to harass and persecute average Americans would result in $200 billion of additional revenue over the next decade. More that half of the rest of the bill is devoted to enforcement.

One of the theories of how to reduce inflation is to reduce demand. In other words, make things so expensive people stop spending and also take money from them so they can’t spend. This bill certainly intends to do that as it contains no middle-class safeguards and will hurt the middle class more than any other group. Retailors should be concerned as well since there will, by design, be far fewer people who can afford to shop.

Yes, this is a Marxist and Orwellian nightmare rolled into one bill. It is the formula Lenin devised to destroy the bourgeoisie. He said the best way to do that would be to grind them between the millstones of taxes and inflation and that is exactly what this bill does. So, the globalist, world improvers, the wise ones who are the only ones capable of running and controlling this entire world got at least a cut down version of what they wanted. It is a small cut-down version of Biden’s original build back better idea.

You may pay their salaries, but no one in Washington works for you. Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell and all the rest don’t work for you. None of them work for the “little man” the “working man” because they all work for a group of globalists whose reason for existing is to destroy your country, your life, and your family’s future. That is who the people you elect each cycle and those they hire and appoint work for. They want everyone taxed at a solid rate and then they want 100% compliance by way of central bank digital currencies where there can be no escape from their surveillance.

The Orwellian part of it is that words don’t mean anything except what the Democrats tell us they mean. A recession is no longer a recession as the White House is free to change the meaning. We are told that Putin’s Price Hike caused it, but a massive spending bill will cure it despite Putin. Inflation is caused at least primarily caused by excess Federal Reserve money creation and this bill would authorize the spending of $750 billion new dollars then try to twist much of that money back out of the hands of working Americans.

The 755-page bill includes $430 billion to combat climate change and extend health care coverage, paid for with savings on prescription drugs and taxes on corporations. Hundreds of billions to change the weather, so, we will see. Will our weather improve, highly unlikely. What about inflation and deficit reduction, not a chance. Like most boondoggles this one has the spending front loaded while the deficit and inflation fighting part is all on the back end which means it never happens.

Climate change is a good one though. Practically every bad thing or unpleasant thing that happens can and is blamed on climate change. Too hot, too cold, too much rain, not enough rain, all give a wicked government access to the people’s pocket. Remember the old Mark Twain joke: everybody complains about the weather, but nobody does anything about it, well now Democrats have one upped Mr. Twain because they are going to spend until they improve the weather.

This is all just a not so clever ruse for an attack on the middle class to remove wealth for redistribution thus breaking and destroying the middle class. Just two classes will exist when these people have their way, the extremely rich and the extremely poor. First, taxes will reduce available money and that coupled with inflation will cause people to incur unpayable debt, and then further reduce them with interest. Inflation will eat up anything left over but they still have the barter market or a kind of underground market. That will be destroyed through the Central Bank Digital Currencies thus will the middle class implode.

There was an effort made last minute in the debate on this bill to save the working poor and middle class, but it failed. The amendment to the bill would have limited the 87,000 new IRS agents to auditing companies and individuals with income of $400,000 or more failed 50-50 with Vice President Harris voting. While a candidate, Joe Biden famously pledged not to raise taxes on anyone making less than $400,000, but nevertheless, this bill will increase taxes for most people.

It is the attacking instructions given the IRS that should scare people. This is a new IRS that the Wall Street Journal referred to as beast mode. More than half of the remaining money after $80 billion given to the new IRS will go to enforcement. The IRS is literally arming up as well. Thousands of weapons and millions of rounds of ammunition will be in the hands of the agents of the IRS. Yes, the people who determine the direction of this government looked around at the train wreck and concluded that what is really needed is 87,000 new, armed IRS agents.

Throughout history from the Roman Empire, various Chinese Dynasties, the British and French Empires when in decline sent armies of tax collectors to harass citizens and steal their wealth. Ruthless tax collecting is a hallmark of a nation in decline. This is perfectly in line with this crumbling nation now 31 trillion in debt. The ruling class squander the wealth of the nation then seek to save their skins by extracting it from the people. This is a time when we desperately need innovation and focus but this new army of tax collectors is just what this country does not need if it is ever going to recover. We should be focused on making the pie bigger for everyone, but no, we have to spend our time in minutia and looking for receipts to avoid the government man.

As I said earlier this Bill makes my blood boil at the utter in your face, we don’t care what you the people think about it, nature of the thing. The Democrat ministry of propaganda better known as the media won’t do anything but sing its praises, but I doubt if any have read the 777 pages. After all even Joe Biden admits he doesn’t know what’s in the bill. This bill which will drive another nail in the coffin of what was once a free economy and will actually increase inflation is a mystery to the president. Earlier this week while speaking to flood victims in Kentucky he said in reference to the bill: “We passed yesterday, taking care of everything from health care to God knows what else.” Here are some things that only God knows are in the bill.

Corporate welfare to green energy including $7000 subsidy for purchasing Electric Vehicles. After all the gimmicks are totaled up the bill will increase the deficit, the debt, and inflation. The IRS empowered and weaponized to attack middle class Americans. Lots of wind and solar power subsidies to bolster their Chinese manufacturers. $8.45 billion for environmental justice in agriculture. I don’t know yet if that is newspeak for stop growing food. $3 billion for the department of Transportation to address racism in infrastructure.  The list goes on and on to cover most of the Democrat vote buying wish list.

In conclusion I have a theory about what is happening in the United States right now. My theory is that we are in a status the military refers to as low intensity conflict defined as warfare falling below the standard of the use of military weapons. When countries engage in low intensity conflict, they use their propaganda tools to spread disinformation among the enemy. They weaponize the various organs of government against their enemies. In our case an example would be the corruption of the IRS starting at least under Obama when Director Lois Lerner used the IRS to attack conservative groups on through what we are seeing today.

The FBI, once the most trusted organization, is now one of the most corrupt. The leadership of the FBI is totally corrupt ordering and allowing itself to be weaponized to invent phony Russia gate investigations while ignoring real enemies. Terrorists burn cities but the FBI is busy raiding the home of a former President. The FBI comes under the authority of the Department of Justice which means that the Attorney General is head of that agency. The American people, according to poll after poll, know their government and its agencies are totally corrupt. It is a sad day indeed when I conclude that the federal government in general, but specifically its army of investigative agents cannot be trusted and in fact they are enemies of the light.

Finally, folks, they are indeed enemies of the light, and they flee from it like roaches. The FBI raid on Trump’s home was intended to send a message and indeed it did. We get the message Mr. Garland loud and clear, and we will not forget. This low intensity conflict is civil war as we struggle for what’s left of a once free country. This raid is clear evidence of the threat we face from a government that weaponizes its power against political opponents. This cannot be allowed to stand if we are to at least pretend we are still free.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

WHAT DOES STANDING WITH TAIWAN REALLY MEAN?

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 5th day of August in the year of our Lord 2022 and on today’s report I will be talking about the Island known as Taiwan except to China where it is known as China. Specifically, I will offer a few thoughts on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent visit to Taiwan.

Why is Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan such a big deal? After all she is not the first member of congress to visit that nation. She is, however, a duly elected, official of the United States as well as second behind Vice President Kamala Harris, in line for the presidency of the United States. I suppose that makes her visit very important to the Chinese. It is akin to a state visit to what they consider to be part of their sovereign territory.

All that was well know to the speaker of the house of representatives before she planned her trip, but she did it anyway. The president said he thought it was not a good idea and so did the secretary of defense, but she went anyway. Why, what did the trip accomplish, and how did it properly represent her constituents in San Francisco? The U.S. claims that since the speaker represents the legislative branch, and the executive branch handles diplomacy and is empowered to determine U.S. foreign policy that her trip was therefore insignificant.

I’m pretty sure the Chinese don’t understand or accept such distinctions. They probably don’t accept the idea that the trip was not endorsed by the president and I’m certain that to them its all part of a pre-arranged plan. China’s outrage, either genuine or also concocted, was made very clear. Some in the Chinese military threatened to shoot down her plane, but fortunately cooler heads prevailed. It seems that the Chinese do not want to provoke a full-scale war with the United States, at least not yet.

The history of this conflict goes back to the end of World War ll when the forces of Mao chased Chiang Kai-Shek to what was then called Formosa. Chiang established a Chinese government in exile While Mao ran China and claimed the island of Taiwan as sovereign Chinese territory. War clouds have appeared over the island ever since and it constantly threatens the world with war today. The U.S. has always walked a line between recognition of Taiwan independence and admitting it is part of China.

The diplomacy was worked out between Nixon, Kissinger, and the Chinese when Nixon “opened” China with his visit in 1974. Basically, both sides agreed to coexist and ignore the elephant in the room. The U.S. would not recognize Taiwan independence and the Chinese would not attempt to take Taiwan by force. The position of the U.S. regarding an attempted invasion by China would remain deliberately unclear and obscure so that they would never know until it happened. Would the U.S. defend Taiwan militarily or not, no one knew for sure?

All that changed with a recent trip by President Biden to Japan. When asked by a reporter if the U.S. would defend Taiwan he said yes, that’s our commitment. That, of Course, has never been our commitment, but such gaffes or deliberate statements sometimes lead toward world war. The Chinese were probably amazed at the statement, and it undoubtedly accounted for some of the fiery rhetoric and threats about the trip.

The Chinese military strength continues to grow and with that growth comes increasingly aggressive threats and efforts to expand in the Pacific. So far, the disputes have involved fishing rights, coastal islands, and disputed territorial waters but it remains a very dangerous situation and that’s why this trip was ill conceived in my mind. Once she announced the trip she had to go despite the Chinese threats, but more importantly because of them. We can’t have the United States backing down in the face of Chinese threats and we can’t have the Chinese deciding where U.S. officials can visit. On the other hand, the trip was incredibly pointless and an unnecessary provocation, for no known reason. One might invent reasons to explain it, but there is certainly no obvious diplomatic advantage to the trip, only the provocative one.

Its true that many members of the congress and senate have visited Taiwan before including some earlier this year. When Newt Gingrich was speaker, he visited in I think 1997, but that was all before President Biden removed the veil from the U.S, intentions. The result is that everything is different now especially to the Chinese. Nancy Pelosi said upon her return to the U.S. that the Chinese visceral reaction was because of sexism. As ridiculous as it sounds, she did indeed take advantage of the opportunity to play the victim one more time.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives goes to Taiwan over the expressed wishes of the President and Secretary of Defense and announces upon landing in what China considers to be China, “Our visit reiterates that America stands with Taiwan: a robust, vibrant democracy and our important partner in the Indo-Pacific.” To the Chinese she just said my visit means that we are taking part of your territory and there’s nothing you can do about it.

There are, however, several things the Chinese could do about it, discounting the possibility of invasion or direct military conflict. The first thing they did was to summon the U.S. ambassador which is a serious diplomatic maneuver and a warning that diplomatic relations have been threatened. Reportedly, the Chinese premier Xi said “The move is extremely egregious in nature and the consequences are extremely serious. China will not sit idly by.”

China’s military said it was on high alert and would launch a series of targeted military actions in response. China has since begun military exercises including live fire exercises with the usual intrusions into Taiwanese territorial waters and airspace. The Chinese diplomatic rhetoric emphasized that Taiwan is China’s and would eventually return to China.

A full-scale invasion across the Taiwan Strait would not be easy for China even if it was successful. Whether the U.S. and or Japan would intervene remains an open question, but the Japanese have made it clear that an invasion would threaten their national interests. The Taiwan military is a little old and a little outdated, but it does have missiles capable of striking into mainland China. The invasion then, would cost the lives of thousands of Chinese soldiers and civilians and immediate success would not be assured.

The other choice the Chinese have is a naval and air blockade of Taiwan to subdue the enemy without fighting as per Sun Tzu. A blockade would cut off Taiwan from western arms shipments to resupply and modernize their armed forces. The economy of Taiwan would quickly be perhaps fatally damaged and the military’s ability to resist would be severely damaged. The Chinese Communists would then wait and hope that the morale of the people would succumb and some type of surrender like Hong Kong would be forthcoming.

Speaking of Hong Kong, the United States did not defend Hong Kong or come to its aid when China absorbed it. The people of that City were promised one country two systems, but it quickly became one country and one system, or you can deal with the People’s Liberation Army.

China wants to be the leader of the new world order that stands in opposition to the world order led by the United States since World War ll. The U.S. set out to sanction and de-dollarize certain countries, so they naturally begun to sign up allies and define a new system not controlled by the dollar. China still needs American markets although creating additional chaos for the American economy and especially the supply chain now dependent on China is another option for Chinese protest of the visit.

The fall of Taiwan would be rather disastrous for western economies because Taiwan controls much of the chip manufacturing upon which western technology depends. Why the U.S. made such a sovereignty destroying move as to offshore its manufacturing to a hostile Communist country and then allow its own chips to be made in Taiwan which is in constant conflict with that country is open to discussion, but it seems self-destructive to me. If a Chinese naval blockade cut off the supply of chips to the U.S. and its western allies, then they would be beholden to the Chinese as Europe is to Russia because of Russian gas. Never mind all the America first rhetoric, doesn’t anyone in authority elected or not even consider what’s in the best interest of America and the American people anymore.

The U.S. Senate is considering Senate Bill 4428 defined as the effort to support the security of Taiwan and its right of self-determination, and for other purposes. The heart of the bill is to transfer $6.5 billion in foreign military financing for Taiwan over the next four years. It would also designate Taiwan a major non-NATO ally which means we give them weapons, but we have no mutual defense commitment. So, I suppose that is what standing with Taiwan means. Once again, we will fight to the last drop of Taiwanese blood.

This is complete madness and once again indicates that this world is run by lunatics. What is the strategic interest of the United States in this dispute that would make it go to war or risk war with China? Its all madness, but it bodes ill for Taiwan. The Chinese Premier, after all his bluster and rhetoric has been humiliated and he can’t let that go without a response, so we wait for that. Taiwan is the loser, however, and it is plausible to think that China will use the Biden presidency to move against it.

Finally, folks, war with China is just one mistake, one collision at sea, one nervous ship’s captain away. My fear is that some F-14 pilot, or some Chinese pilot will fire a missile at the wrong target or some collision at sea will set it off, and the missiles will fly. Then all the bluster and all the harsh words can’t recall them. The best explanation for the trip might just be to take the focus of the American people away from what Lenin referred to as grinding them between the millstones of taxes and inflation and put it on a perceived foreign enemy. There have always been plenty of people willing to trade the lives of young Americans for election success.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

MALTHUS WAS WRONG BUT FAMINE IS STILL IN OUR FUTURE

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. I will be talking about the evil globalists who seem to have so much influence in the world today. Influence over governments and the organizations that are supposed to serve them. Population reduction through famine, war, disease, and civil disorder seems to be all part of their plans for humanity. Only a small population of compliant people can be cataloged, monitored, and controlled like animals and that appears to be what the world is giving these monsters.

Thomas Malthus was an English economist who lived in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s. He developed a theory about population and food and people who adhere to his theory are even today referred to as Malthusians. He predicted that famine was the inevitable byproduct of agriculturally successful populations. His idea was that as populations advanced in agricultural ability they would grow faster as they produced more food and inevitably, they would eventually out produce their food supply and starve. Malthus predicted this result was unavoidable though tragic.

We know today that he was wrong because the population of the earth is many times what it was in his day and yet, here we are. Technology and modern agricultural techniques would allow the entire earth to be well fed if only the globalists and their toadies would leave us alone. I will call them globalists for lack of a better word, but that requires a bit of explaining. I use the word globalist to define a group of people who believe it is their right, their destiny to catalog, control and manage the world’s population. To be able to do that the population has to be drastically reduced which requires and justifies the killing of perhaps billions of people.

Population control has been an issue for decades at least, but the difference is that now they have the technology to finally do it. This is the generation, and the moment that the globalists have been waiting for. They are carrying out their agenda of population control at the same time they continue their goal of digital ID that allows tracking and monitoring of every person and every transaction on earth with the resulting control of entire populations as per the Chinese Social Credit System. You get a reward if you are a good little boy or girl, and you get punished if you are not. This allows the population to be killed off and still controlled if they object.

Just a few examples of how the world is following the Chinese example which I believe is first because of its massive population already controlled by a small ruling elite. In Sri Lanka, which was food independent, but is now totally dependent because of changes in farming caused by those in control supposedly worried about climate change. Monster, I argue, is a perfectly reasonable word describe those who would starve their own populations. The starving people charged the government buildings forcing the resignation of government officials. The new president has enacted a QR code digital ID program to access fuel in an effort to ration it because they and others like them sanctioned fuel exporting nations, and so the people have no fuel, only the elite have fuel.

The bottom line is that to buy gas for your car or any other use, you must first obtain government permission. This new system was set up in Sri Lanka by the World Economic Forum. Your national ID must be tied to an app the government provides in order to ask the government’s permission to buy some gas. The Sri Lankan government is using armed military to enforce the QR code requirement. So, whose side is the military on in Sri Lanka but also in America. I have a bad feeling that we are about to find out. Places like Sri Lanka and some others appear to be test cases for the system that will be enacted worldwide unless something stops it.

A politician from any country who is willing to stand in front of this madness certainly risks his career, but potentially a lot more. The first step is the buy off, but if he refuses the money, the next step is ruin through scandal, and if that doesn’t work then a fatal accident or random street violence against him might be in order. I suspect they all know this fact and they all, or almost all, just take the money.

Sri Lanka is a bankrupt debt slave country waiting for the fate of all slaves, and the enslaving forces who hold all their debt wait to take over the very lives of their citizens. Nation after nation is falling into this trap, all over Africa, South and Latin America, and to some extent the Middle East. Who will buy our debt they ask? Who will help us, and the Chinese say we will, but we want control of your resources, your infrastructure, and the right to develop ports for the Belt and Road Initiative and for Chinese Naval Forces?

Over in Europe we find the same process developing, perhaps with a little more sophistication. Until now, Holland has been one of the premier food producing countries in the world, but the government of Holland has decided to end that. The government told the Dutch farmers to reduce their nitrogen output by 30%-70%, an order that will destroy farms and farming in Holland. The government is seizing farms to ensure the reduction is effective. When I say effective, I mean effective in destroying farming, thus starving the Dutch population.

Please keep in mind folks that when you cannot grow food you are dependent on the whim of the monsters who brought about your condition. You cannot be free without food a fact well known to the globalists. The Dutch farmers got on their tractors to head for Brussels, but the Dutch police reportedly opened fire on them. To my knowledge no on was killed, but the message was sent, comply or else. The sad part is that people don’t realize that this should be a worldwide effort of resistance and no police or military should obey these globalist monsters.

Across Europe and in other places governments are deliberately choosing famine for their populations. Canada has joined the procession to starvation as well, over the protests of the governors of food producing provinces like Alberta and Saskatchewan. In Ireland, according to the Irish Times, the Minister for Agriculture has agreed to force a cut of 27 to 28 percent of the nation’s agriculture. The globalists pressure the Irish government to make the cuts deeper. The Irish have experienced famine before so we will see how the take it this time.

Here in America, we are not immune to the madness. The war in Ukraine has supposedly deprived American Farmers of the fertilizers they need to feed the nation. We are supposed to believe that America takes the high road in regard to Russia, but few sensible Americans will believe that involves starving our population. Available fertilizer is much more expensive which means food is much more expensive. Anyone can see that, and I hope few are fooled by it. This is a shame and I pray many will wake up and rise up to stop it. Partisan politics aside, they intend to starve us into compliance and as long as divided we stand and we believe our liars but not their liars, then the monsters will succeed.

Much of the modern society we have developed in America is due to agriculture and its continuing development and improvement through the continued use of the old methods and through technology. It is estimated that each American farm feeds about 150 people quite well. Each farm shut down, bankrupted, or enslaved by debt is 150 unfed people. Monsters like Bill Gates and his ilk at the WEF buy up hundreds of thousands of acres of American farmland. Just a few days ago he bought a 2100-acre potato farm in North Dakota. Why would he do that. There can only be a few reasons such as maybe Bill wants to grow potatoes in his spare time. Maybe he wants to demonstrate his new improved techniques for growing potatoes. No, I think he wants to take that farm out of production while he lectures us mortals on getting used to fake meat and bugs as our diet.

On July 8, 2020, the Rockefeller Foundation published a document entitled “Reset the Table: Meeting the Moment to Transform the U.S. Food System”. That 23-page document which I have here fresh off my printer makes bold statements about upcoming food shortages which were unknown at the time. One month before that document was published the Great Reset was announced by Klaus Schwab, the founder of the WEF. They had their ducks in a row these documents reveal, and they are eerily similar in their announcement that we the masses will have to get used to different food and less of it. Artificial food that would be produced by that great humanitarian Bill Gates.

We should be glad to be starved by our bettors because its all to save the planet. The population of the world is now around 8 billion, far to large to manage even by an all knowing, god-like group of enlightened. So, the population must be drastically reduced and not just by starvation. Oh no, these wise ones have many ways of disposing of us. The recent COVID virus would be a fine example, and the vaccine which wasn’t a vaccine and didn’t work would be a better one. Even Dr. Birx, who was Trump’s medical advisor admitted she knew in advance that it would not work, but she insisted on the lockdowns anyway.

The scientists and doctors at Pfizer and Moderna knew and therefore the FDA knew, but they did it anyway. Why, for money, just for money? No, that doesn’t explain it all because if it was just for money why run You Tube ads advising mothers to get their little ones vaccinated. Yes, these monsters are killing children on purpose. The internal documents from the pharmaceutical industry and the FDA confirm that. As Paul Craig Roberts has said, vaccination does not protect, it harms. So, the only reason to enforce it is to kill people.

People have to learn to distrust authorities who simply cannot become authorities unless they are down with the cause. I suppose they think they will be in the mansion with the enlightened ones someday, but more likely when they are no longer useful, they will go as well. We have to resist digital ID and vaccine passports at all costs, and I mean all costs. Vaccine passports give the government the ability to say take this vaccine which you believe to be dangerous or even murderous, or you will not eat our fake meat and bugs, and you cannot buy fuel for your vehicle or home.

In conclusion folks, I quote from an article by Lew Rockwell called the COVID Vaccine Plot: “This is the first time I have seen the argument for population reduction used so blatantly and widespread in the mainstream media, and it suggests to me that a trend is forming. For years I have warned my readers that they will know when the globalists are about to pull the plug on the current system when they start talking about their criminality openly. When they admit to their agenda in a free way, this means they are close to a global reset and do not care anymore who knows about it. The openness of the plot to cut world population is becoming apparent”. If Lew is correct, then it is past time for us to talk openly about these things and perhaps make a plan for dealing with them.

Finally, folks, there is nothing wrong with agriculture or its ability to feed the world, those who seek humanity’s destruction, those satanic anti-God, masters of the universe are the problem. I agree with Lew about another point. His theory is that these people are psychopaths looking for a socially justifiable way to kill as many people as possible. Why, because they enjoy it.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

This is Darrell Castle, Thanks for listening.

    Transcription / Notes:

    THE ROARING 20’S

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 22nd day of July in the year of our Lord 2022. I am going to be talking about how polls and other measures of popular acceptability and obvious ineptitude just keep getting worse for Joe Biden and the Democrats as the approval numbers for President Biden threaten the 20’s thus the title of this report.

I am sure you’ve heard the expression just when you think it can’t get any worse it does. CNN has traditionally been kinder to President Biden than any other Network, even through its polling, but now that seems to have changed. The New York Times is the gate keeper for what the American Media is permitted to say about Democrat politicians and in a recent article and follow up piece the Times opened the flood gates of criticism of the President.

The Times article said he’s too old, he shuffles, his aides prop him up, etc. you know the story. This article was a directive that it is open season on Joe Biden and there has been numerous criticism from the Democrat Party’s mouthpieces since then. We can’t win with him and so we have to let him go and therefore you are permitted to openly critique him is what the article was saying if one reads between the lines. Even the first lady appears to have been given the word and she did an interview where she said he had so many good things in mind, but the current problems got in the way. Stories of his wife and other staffers giving him pills to get through public appearances, etc. have appeared as well.

The scary thing for the Democrats and I argue for the country is that the country seems to be dividing along class lines and the traditional lines of party support have reversed. Those who used to be assumed loyal Democrats are apparently tired of being taken for granted and are turning to the Republicans in droves. Let’s look at the most recent CNN survey. It shows President Biden with the lowest approval rating at this point in a presidency, in the survey’s history. It is a rating that is edging ever closer to the roaring 20’s.

President Biden has his problems as did President Carter with the Iran hostage issue and double-digit inflation left over from the Vietnam War and the Great Society Programs, but Biden has sunk lower in the CNN poll than Carter. President Carter’s approval rate at this point was 42% according to CNN but President Biden is at 38% and keep in mind that this poll is from the very generous and friendly polling services of CNN.

President Biden has no Mueller investigation and no Iran hostage situation to grease the skids to the bottom, so he has had to rely on his own efforts to get there. Just on a brief inventory, he has taken a booming economy and turned in two successive quarters of negative growth meeting the classic definition of recession. Spending and giveaway stimulus in response to COVID and other federal boondoggles helped inflation to explode, and it is now calculated at 9.1% and no relief is in sight. His disastrous retreat from Afghanistan leaving behind almost $100 billion of high-tech weapons for the Taliban and causing the deaths of 13 Americans while abandoning many others.

He promised to turn Saudi Arabia into a pariah during his campaign, but there he was fist bumping the crown prince. Personally, I would never have promised to turn any nation into a pariah. That kind of rhetoric can do nothing useful except perhaps energize some of your base, and if elected, you just might need something that country is selling like Oil. I almost forgot to mention that he inherited a country which was completely energy independent. America was a net exporter of energy and did not have to go to ideological enemies with its hat in its hand. He quickly turned that into a country completely dependent on the good will or avarice depending on the circumstance of others.

He then imposed economic sanctions on many of the others including Russia where much of the energy necessary in this world comes from if American production is shut down. My listeners can correct me, but I know of no foreign policy successes from the Biden Presidency. He has bound our hands behind our back, he is bankrupting our businesses, and our citizens and obviously I am not the only one to notice these things. Most importantly, he appears to be in severe cognitive decline and that must also be apparent to other countries. They see this man and they know he is no threat, and he cannot act. Russia, Iran, and China are establishing bases right in our hemisphere, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and of course Cuba are all hosting and forward staging troops and weapons from our enemies or those we have intentionally made enemies of.

According to CNN, just 31% say that Biden has the right priorities. Working people have to get to work, by definition, and telling them to buy a $75 thousand electric car if they can find one, which needs a new $14 thousand battery every $70,000 miles does not endear him to working people, and neither does soaring food prices. When they learn he is forcing this on us intentionally he really provokes outrage. His border policies or lack of policies may be designed to appeal to Hispanics but has had the opposite effect. Hispanics are turning from Democrats across the country.

When people are hungry and they can’t buy gas, their thoughts are not on climate change, or even abortion. Instead, their thoughts are on feeding their families and having some degree of hope for the future. This fact is true across most demographics as Democrat candidates are learning the hard way. The breakdowns across demographic lines must be terribly discouraging for those who have taken working class people for granted for so many years.

From the CNN survey: job approval 38-62, handling of the economy and inflation 25-74, oh that one is in the roaring 20’s, has the right priorities v. hasn’t paid enough attention to the most important problems 31-68. Now let’s look at the demographic breakdown with the question of job approval: average 38-62, males 33-66, females 33-67, whites 42-58, African Americans 57-43, Hispanics 38-60, non-college 32-68, college 48-52, white non-college 24-76, white college 47-53. Absolutely atrocious numbers, but for some reason African Americans, who have been hurt as badly as any group are still above water with him. The average approval of 57% is far down from the usual 90% approval for Democrats.

Where then does his strength come from if anywhere? From college educated white liberals and although the numbers are falling, from African Americans. Who is turning from him in record numbers, working people who have not had the benefit of college indoctrination and especially Hispanics? People of Hispanic descent are quite often pro-life because they are catholic or at least from that tradition. They work for a living, and they have families. Polls also show repeatedly that they don’t even approve of his open border policy.

Working class voters and Hispanic voters are polling very similarly on issues that are normally high on the progressive list and the polls are not in the Democrats favor. Echelon polling service did polls by asking four questions, but for brevity I will give you three of them. The first question, America is not the greatest country in the world vs. America is the greatest country in the world. Progressives say by 66-28 that it is not the greatest country, but Hispanics say the opposite by 70-23, and working-class voters agree 69-23.

Second question, racism is built into our society, including into its policies and institutions vs racism comes from individuals who hold racist views. Progressives say America is racist 94-6 while Hispanics are opposite 58-36 as are working class voters 57-33. Third question, the government should deal with illegal immigration by making it easier to immigrate to the US legally vs. The government should deal with illegal immigration by increasing border security and enforcement. Progressives favor open borders 97-2 while Hispanics are split 44-in favor of making it easier and 47 in favor of more security, with working class voters favoring more security 58-32.

The best example of Hispanics rejecting the Democrat agenda is Mayra Flores elected to congress in a special election in a long-term Democrat district in South Texas. Her opponent in the November regular election, Vicente Gonzalez has admitted paying a blogger to print racist and sexist ads about her referring to her as “Miss Frijoles and Miss Enchiladas.” Many of his comments were too vile and sexual to mention here. Gonzalez offered a half-hearted apology and tried to deny knowing about the content although he had previously admitted hiring the blogger. She responded by telling him he should apologize then resign.

Democrats and their globalist allies are not going to allow Hispanic Americans to escape so easily though. From the New York Post: “A major effort by Democrats to recover lost ground among Hispanics by purchasing Spanish-language radio stations is stirring up opposition in Miami, where Cuban exiles describe it as an attempt to stifle conservative voices.” The Latino Media Network which is buying 18 radio stations in 10 U.S. cities where the largest number of Hispanic listeners live.

The media group has raised $80 million from high-profile investors but the debt is financed by Lakestar Finance LLC, a company affiliated with globalist George Soros. Republicans in Florida have been critical and are undoubtedly concerned about losing the largest and most popular Spanish language station known as Radio Mambi. Democrats raise the issue of disinformation and point to their dissatisfaction with the way Mambi reported on the January 6th incident. In other words, if you do not agree with me, I will find some way to shut you up. The conservative hosts of the Spanish speaking stations are either being let go or forced out in some other way. The ones who don’t care take the Soros money.

Its really a shame about Radio Mambi though. It was formed during the Reagan years with some federal help at a time when Reagan was trying to win the cold war and we know the result of his anti-communist efforts. Mambi still gets federal funding to broadcast its shows into Cuba for 1 hour after midnight each morning. Cuba tries to jam the signal so the battle continues, but now I wonder if the Cuban Communists will be as averse to the Soros message.

The group still must file with the FCC to transfer the license but with a Democrat run FCC that should not be a problem. There will be a public comment period where, hopefully, all those Cubans who escaped Castro’s paradise will voice their opinions. Should the sale be approved, it will become final and official in late 2023. Owned by the Communists or owned by a Soros financed political party, they might not see much of a difference.

Finally, folks, it appears that everything this administration has touched has been an abject failure. In Democrat eyes the failure is that Biden is so bad he might keep them form holding on to power. To prevent that, they must remove him somehow, but as Victor Davis Hanson said, “removing an inept messenger does not change a disastrous message.”

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

    STRATEGIC BLUNDERS

Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday, the 15th day of July in the year of our Lord 2022, and I will be talking about strategic blunders made by the United States and followed by the West in general, that have paved the road to war and to a possible radioactive future. I hope these things are blunders because if they were done with the end result in mind then that would indeed be terrifying, and it would mean that the destruction is part of an overall plan of world domination.

Does it make any sense to destroy your own ability to produce energy thus making your country dependent on others and then sanction the others? It sounds like madness but that is exactly what the U.S. has done. Joe Biden cancelled the Keystone Pipeline on his first day in office as well as making it very difficult to produce energy from oil by drilling for it. The U.S. was enjoying an unprecedented energy boom and complete energy Independence with Donald Trump as president but with Biden all that has been reversed.

The U.S. went from energy independence and a net exporter to begging ideological enemies for relief from skyrocketing costs. The administration’s belligerence toward Russia and its unwillingness to even discuss Russia’s security concerns has led to a war of attrition in Ukraine and now Russia appears to be winning. When is the last time Russia lost a grinding war of attrition? It has been a very long time folks. Now, the Russians laugh openly at the American sanctions which have made Russia much richer and the U.S. much poorer.

Europe decided to unite with Russia as a partner regarding European energy needs to the extent that Europe became completely dependent on Russian energy. Europe then went along with American sanctions against Russia and joined the U.S. in pouring money and weapons into Ukraine. That seems like economic suicide, but I suppose it was only a strategic blunder. It has been an abject failure since it has made Russia stronger and severely damaged the economies of the U.S. and much of Europe.

Germany, once the manufacturing heart of Europe, suffered through a billion-dollar trade deficit last quarter. Germany now is a net importer and thanks to the energy policies of Angela Merkel is facing a long difficult winter in the cold and dark. The green energy policies of Ms. Merkel have been a disaster for Germany and the Germans have learned the hard way that energy once lost, is very hard to regain. It is especially difficult to achieve through wind and solar when you have nothing else. France has held up a little better since, unlike Germany, it did not close down its nuclear plants.

The green revolution is manifesting itself in ways those who started it failed to consider. The result of all the paranoia over climate change and the environment has been the beginning of starvation for much of the world. In Sri Lanka, for example, there is no food and no fuel to transport it if there was food. Sri Lanka was once food independent but now is totally dependent on food imports which is a recipe for catastrophe. The result was the people storming government buildings and forcing the resignation of both the President and Prime Minister. How long before the mobs of people demand more than resignations.

Across Europe people are rising up in protest against policies that deprive them of their ability to grow food. What kind of politician tells his nations farmers to shut down their farms to prevent climate change, but that is exactly what the government in Holland did? The farmers did not go quietly and thousands of them are on their tractors on the road to Brussels. Farmers in many other European countries have followed suit. They are trying to save their livelihoods and the lives of the European people.

Speaking of energy President Biden not only refuses to allow the United States to produce its own energy he has been depleting the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) by a million barrels per day. That oil belongs to the people of the United States and is there to prevent a dire emergency in time of war or other catastrophe. He has been releasing it apparently to bolster Democrat chances in the mid term elections by getting a temporary price reduction at the gas pumps. He has also sold a good deal of it to Europe to replace the Russian oil he sanctioned and to keep the Europeans from leaving the fold and making friends with Russia. Disturbingly, according to reports from Fox News and others, Tucker Carlson in particular, up to 15% of it has gone to Communist China.

The Russians, despite the war in Ukraine, are enjoying a very profitable year thanks to the soaring price of oil and gas. Russia sells enough oil and gas to China and India to more than finance its war. The world is arming up in response, I suppose to prepare for the inevitable. The U.S. and Europe planning to send 300,000 troops to Eastern Europe. The tiny nation of Latvia is enacting compulsory military service. Lithuania, despite calls to back off, has extended its blockade of Russian products to Kaliningrad to many other products.

In response Putin extended his offer of Russian citizenship to all of Ukraine, not just the Russian speaking Eastern Provinces. This is a classic Russian Psyops maneuver and what it says to the Ukrainian people is why sit and wait for the inevitable. Russia is going to win this war; you know it and I know it so why not join us. We have no problem with you the only problems are with your government and its alliance with the West.

The U.S. announced another $400 million to Ukraine including the Himars artillery system. That is the high mobility artillery rocket system which is very complicated and difficult to operate without extensive training or American operators on the ground. The U.S. grows more deeply involved in the Ukraine daily but I argue that restraint is now called for. Despite its belligerence the U.S. military is growing critically short of personnel to fill the ranks. The army has achieved only 40% of its goals for this fiscal year with only 3 months to go. The army said it might have to consider a reduction in readiness forces.

According to Army Chief of Staff General James McConville, only 23% of Americans ages 17 to 24 are eligible to serve without a waiver. This is due to obesity, drug use, or criminal record. Of the 23% eligible only 9% have any interest in serving. The potential recruits expressed fear that they would experience emotional or physical harm if they joined. This is even with the lower standards such as no high school diploma and reduced physical fitness requirements. My question is that if the standards don’t matter then why have them in the first place.

Just to show you the total irrationality of the leadership of this country the National Guard just discharged 62.000 people because they refused the COVID vaccine. The U.S. military is hurting around the world as numbers are declining and commitments are increasing. The Navy personnel are instructed to never use politically incorrect pronouns like he or she and to believe that men can get pregnant, and that gender is simply a state of mind, but apparently very little in war fighting and ship handling. The other day the U.S. strike carrier, The Harry Truman, operating in the Mediterranean, had an F-18 Super Hornet, one of the world’s most advanced fighter jets blow over the side in a storm.

That jet cost 67,4 million to build and now it is at the bottom of the Med. The Navy is debating whether to try a salvage operation to keep an enemy nation from gaining access to it. Is there any accountability in the Navy anymore? Has the captain of the Truman been relieved? If that jet had been lost in combat or lost in flight due to mechanical failure, then OK but blown over the side. In all my years of sailing with the Marines on Navy ships in the Med and the Far East, I never saw anything like that happen. I suppose the captain of the Truman uses all the correct pronouns at least.

China and Russia are both reportedly in possession of hyper sonic missile systems. China especially seems to have perfected the system which sends missiles into a suborbital pattern in space to loiter until a target such as a U.S. carrier, a U.S. base or a U.S. city is assigned and then it attacks at hypersonic speed. This is a game changing weapon system for which the U.S. has no answer. The U.S. tested a hypersonic missile recently, but it failed and apparently the U.S. is years behind China in this technology. Hypersonic technology is a capability gap that is very dangerous and makes those Carriers very vulnerable.

Smarter minds should prevail and some of the inflammatory rhetoric should be reconsidered until the U.S. can come up to speed on this system. While the hypersonic test failed the U.S. destroyer Zumwalt with its new all clad design and its guided artillery rounds at a cost of $750,000 per round also failed and must be stripped and completely redesigned. Perhaps directed energy weapons the U.S. is rumored to have could be a hypersonic defense but its unknown whether the U.S. actually has a functional directed energy weapon system.

The other day I was listening to Max Morton on his site Forward Observor.com and Max gave an illustration of where the U.S. stands right now. He said the U.S. is like the high school quarterback from 20 years ago who was the hottest thing in high school. He dated the head cheerleader, and all the other girls were jealous of her. Now 20 years later he still thinks he is the hottest thing around, but he has a pot belly, and he is starting to lose his hair.

There are extremely ominous signs and signals coming from China right now but the time I have left today will only allow a thumbnail look. The assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was a terrible blow for the containment of Chinese expansion across the region. Abe was a friend of the United States and was expected to be reelected Prime Minister. He was solidly in favor of supporting Taiwan against China because he knew that Taiwan would be just the first step toward Chinese dominance both land and maritime. Would the U.S. go to war over Taiwan? Probably not, but over Japan it would, and that country is right in the middle of the Chinese expansion defense and is rearming at a fast rate.

The Chinese foreign minister recently spoke to his counterparts in many of the Asian nations and he warned them not to become chess pieces in the Americans’ game. He said that Asia belongs to the Asians. That’s all well and good but what he really meant was don’t ally with the Americans while we are stealing your territory and debt colonizing your economies. China is lining up friends who are willing to oppose the U.S. so people wonder, is the U.S. still the strong horse in the Pacific Region? Many apparently think not. Many read the New York Times as we do, and they see where the Times said the American President looks old, shuffles when he walks, aides are afraid he will trip, he almost always gaffes up anything he says. They watch his videos where he claps at inappropriate times, slurs his words etc. and to them he is the United States.

In conclusion the United States is badly in need of competent leadership. The currant leadership from top to bottom needs to be removed and replaced. The sanctions have become a sick joke and the joke is on us. The world is ignoring them, even friends like India. The world is getting rich at the expense of the U.S. and its European allies who get poorer each day. To align with the U.S. today a nation must pledge its own ruin and starvation through what is known as ESG or Environmental Social and Governance. You see folks, this movement to go green covers so much more than the environment. A nation has to literally destroy its ability to feed its people to become a U.S. ally, but China has no such requirement.

Finally, Folks, this is madness and I know you can see that. Somebody up there and most likely a lot of somebodies must be raving lunatics. Little by little the ruling elite are revealing to the rest of us just how wicked they really are, and now they have us on the path to a radioactive future. Maybe its all just part of the plan.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

THE SUPREME COURT LIMITS THE ADMINISTRATIVE STATE

Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 8th of July in the year of our Lord 2022. I will be talking about the recent decision of the Supreme Court of the United States in the case of West Virginia v. Environmental Protection Agency. SCOTUS, in effect, reversed the long-standing rule known as Chevron Deference which permitted agencies formed by Congress such as the EPA to formulate their own policy decisions even when those decisions were not made by congress and even when they affected whole industries or entire states. In effect, Congress delegated its law-making responsibility to unelected and unaccountable bureaucratic agencies.

The doctrine of Chevron Deference came from the 1984 case of Chevron U.S.A., Inc. v. Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc. Congress amended the Clean Air Act in 1977 to address states that had not attained air quality standards set by the EPA. The amendment placed onerous standards on those non-attainment states. Lawsuits were filed, decided, and appealed until the matter finally reach SCOTUS.

The issue before the Court was what standard of review should be applied by a court to a government agency’s own reading of a statute that it is charged with administering. The Court upheld the EPA’s interpretation of its power and from that emerged the doctrine that became the Chevron deference. The court’s two-part test: First, has congress directly spoken to the precise question at issue. If congress made its intent clear, then that is the answer. Second, if congress has not spoken then the court defers to the Agency’s interpretation if it is based on a permissible interpretation of the statute.

The Chevron case went on to become the most cited case in administrative law. The ruling that the judiciary should defer to a federal agency’s interpretation of language in Congressional legislation, or the Chevron deference has been the law from 1984 until now. Many regulatory decisions have been based on it and various regulatory agencies seem to think it makes the agency into a kind of super legislature.

That all changed with the decision last Thursday in West Virginia v. Environmental Protection Agency which originated during the Obama Administration’s efforts to destroy the coal industry especially effecting the economy of the entire state of West Virginia. The EPA formulated regulations that required energy producers to transition coal-fired power plants to natural gas. The state applied to the Supreme Court for a stay pending litigation which was granted in 2016.Very unusual for SCOTUS to grant a stay before a review by the Court of Appeals.

The Court was probably trying to prevent significant damage to the State of West Virginia during the long years of appeal. If the agency in the litigation ultimately loses it just says oh, I’m sorry and goes right on despite the damage suffered by the victims. When Donald Trump took office the EPA’s previous regulations were replaced with one that required coal fired plants to burn coal more efficiently but did not order them to stop using coal. The D.C. Court of Appeals struck down Trump’s regulation and Joe Biden was inaugurated the next day.

West Virginia asked the Supreme Court to overturn the D.C. Court of Appeals ruling under the idea that the regulation was so substantial that it effected the entire coal industry and therefore was a violation of the major questions doctrine under the Chevron case. It further alleged a violation of the non-delegation clause of the constitution. The 6-3 decision was authored by Chief Justice John Roberts, and I quote briefly from his conclusion:

“Capping carbon dioxide emissions at a level that will force a nationwide transition away from the use of coal to generate electricity may be a sensible solution to the crisis of the day. New York v. United States, 505 U.S. 144, 187 (1992). But it is not plausible that Congress gave EPA the authority to adopt on its own such a regulatory scheme in Section 111(d). A decision of such magnitude and consequences rests with Congress itself, or an agency acting pursuant to a clear delegation from that representative body. The judgment of the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit is reversed, and the cases are remanded for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.”

Does that language completely overturn Chevron? No, I don’t think it does, but it will strengthen the major question doctrine and it will force Congress to act instead of always just deferring to an unelected agency. Now the process of reviewing the decision and commenting about it begins especially in congress and the senate. Many take the position that this decision is an attack on the government’s ability to protect the environment, but that is not correct. The decision simply tells Congress that the people’s representatives who are accountable through the election process should decide such major questions.

Many lament the fact that the EPA apparently does not have total power to destroy the American energy industry on its own. Congress must act and then face the voters if it wants to destroy the ability of states to use their resources to produce energy. Perhaps some type of compromise proposed and then debated out in the open in Congress is the answer. The answer is definitely not to empower bureaucratic agencies with no accountability to crash the economy of entire states through their own dictates. Congress may delegate some power to the agencies, but the agencies cannot simply make up law as they have been doing since the rise of the administrative state.

Instead of ranting about how terrible the decision is and what terrible consequences it will entail, perhaps Congress should reassert itself and do its job. President Biden says he wants to “cut the nation’s greenhouse emissions in half by the end of the decade and have an emissions free power sector by 2035.” A decision of such magnitude, according to SCOTUS, rests with Congress or an agency acting with clear directions from Congress.

Congress can escape responsibility and accountability to voters by delegating its authority to bureaucrats who then write regulations as they see fit. Those regulations have the authority of law and to enforce them the regulatory agencies issue judgments and penalties. When the regulations produce negative consequences, especially for the donor class, congress can deny any responsibility. SCOTUS then, has told Congress, pass laws and take responsibility as the Constitution requires you to do. Accountability is essential if the people are governed according to law.

Some can’t seem to understand that this decision was not a ruling on climate policy or the Court trying to make climate policy, but a ruling that decisions of such magnitude should be made by Congress. Even the three dissenters on the Court did not understand the decision or at least their dissent did not reflect understanding. Justice Kagan wrote a separate dissent and Justices Sotomayor and Breyer joined her.

Quoting Justice Kagan: “The Court appoints itself—instead of Congress or the expert agency—the decision maker on climate policy.” No, Justice Kagan, that is not what the Court did, and in fact, it did the opposite of what you seem to think it did. The Court did not supplant Congress, but it did tell Congress that it had to be the decision maker of decisions with such enormous consequences. Some people just seem to crave the power to make other people live by their declarations.

The Court cannot agree on the role of the administrative state in America. Some members of the Court want the administrative state to make policy and to rule. Justice Kagan seems to think that the Court is obstructing the EPA from saving the nation from climate change. The administrative state, she asserts, is essential and indispensable in fighting climate change.

Kagan says that Congress delegates its authority because actually using it is often “unreasonable and impracticable” for them to do anything else. Well, yes, Justice Kagan, like the old saying goes, the two things you don’t want to see being made are sausage and laws. Making law is messy, difficult, and time consuming, but it’s their job. Justice Kagan sees the EPA as the “experts” and far more qualified to protect the climate than Congress. The court stripping the EPA of authority she says, “I cannot think of many things more frightening. “Well Justice Kagan how about an unelected bureaucracy out to destroy the economies of entire states.

Gorsuch authored a separate concurring opinion that took up Justice Kagan’s administrative state argument. “The framers believed that a Republic—a thing of the people—would be more likely to enact just laws than a regime administered by a ruling class of largely unaccountable ministers. “Well said Justice Gorsuch and amen to that. Kagan praises the growth of the administrative state which tends to survive all elections and Gorsuch condemns it.

Sometimes when I’ve had all of the propaganda from the American media, I can take I go to Russia Today and find some Russian propaganda. There I found a fine article written by an American for its mostly Russian audience. The sub-heading of the article, “By shooting down federal-level environmental regulations, the court undermines Washington’s global reliability. “It’s good to know that Russia Today apparently has as many poorly informed writers as any other news site.

The article makes it sound like a Federalist decision, but the Court did not transfer power from the hands of Congress, it merely told Congress to exercise its Constitutional power. This writer goes on to argue that the decision impacts the whole world and that it undermines Washington’s global reliability. Other nations that Washington once called friends will now see Washington as unreliable. If 31 trillion of debt, almost 9% inflation, severe supply chain problems, food and gas prices soaring, looming war with China and Russia, if none of that makes Washington unreliable then I doubt if this case will.

One interesting footnote to all of this is that the efforts of the Biden Administration to destroy the fossil fuels industry thus forcing the world into green energy is failing because of that very policy. The nations of the world including Europe and especially China are turning to coal in a big way since they can’t get oil anymore. The push to accelerate away from dirty oil has backfired spectacularly. The global competition for coal has driven coal to unprecedented prices, but the world can’t seem to get enough. I suppose freezing in a dark winter and burning in the heat of summer is not very appealing to sane people.

Finally, folks, this Court seems to be trying to drag Congress and the Administration kicking and screaming back to the rule of law.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

    SLOUCHING TOWARD WORLD WAR lll

Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 1st day of July in the year of our Lord 2022, and I will be talking about how the world, prodded along by the most powerful, seems to be moving inevitably toward a superpower war. This war, when it begins in earnest will be fought between the most powerful nuclear armed countries that have existed in all of history.

I have talked in the past about how the world is dividing into armed camps of nations as both sides scramble last minute to find allies to bolster their teams. The war is mostly cold right now as it is being waged economically, but ominous clouds have appeared over the cold war that tell me it could go hot at any moment. Not much appears to be happening from either side to reverse this road to World War lll. What makes any of the world’s leaders think this coming war will not go nuclear, I don’t know.

Do they really think that a nation with thousands of nuclear missiles will lose a war or allow itself to suffer defeat with those missiles still in their silos? Apparently, they do think so, or at least I hope they think so, because the alternative is even more terrifying. How do world wars begin? We know for certain because we have two examples to choose from. They begin one step at a time, one provocation at a time, one insult at a time, until finally the camel’s back is broken and it’s too late.

The economic sanctions against Russia have not worked as well as had been hoped so new kinds of sanctions have to be found to ratchet up the pressure. When sanctions fail to accomplish the desired result then escalation is the natural response. Recently the small, but NATO and EU member state, Lithuania blocked all the items sanctioned by the EU from being transported from Russia, through the safe passage zone in Lithuania, to the Russian conclave of Kaliningrad. That was a provocation the Russians say they are not willing to live with and Russian language was strong enough to cause the EU, but mostly France and Germany, to tell Lithuania to back off. Apparently though, the Lithuanians have given them all the middle finger on that order for now.

The world waits for a country of 2.5 million people to plunge it into nuclear war. It is understandable on the part of the Lithuanians because they suffered for decades under Soviet Communism with its concrete building blocks and its lines to get potatoes etc. They don’t want to go back and who could blame them, but now they have Article 5 of the NATO charter which would permit or even require NATO to respond to a Russian attack so perhaps they are confidant enough to be reckless.

The Russians responded first with strong diplomatic language, but recently they announced that they would put nuclear weapons into Belarus on the border of Lithuania and Poland. That was a pretty clear indication of the intent to use those weapons if Russian survival was at issue. Russia has also begun cyber-attacks against Lithuania. Putin, in his speech at the Russian Economic Summit in St. Petersburg, spoke as if Russia and Belarus were the same country and in fact, they are. Russian speakers, diplomats, etc. have started referring to Russia as “The Union.” These are all ominous signs, and no one seems interested in turning down the rhetoric.

This past week there were two meetings on the Western side of the world and one on the Eastern side. The G-7 nations consists of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States—plus the European Union. They met in Germany for discussions on Ukraine, but much of the talk centered on inflation and energy prices. The decision was made not to sanction Russian energy any further as the Europeans are probably worried about winter and empty gas lines.

President Biden revealed his plan to bring fuel prices down by persuading the Middle East producers to simply produce more and our problems would be solved. Emanuel Macron, President of France, was caught on camera and on a hot mike thought to be cold schooling him on the situation in the Middle East. Macron said I talked with MBZ this morning (he is the ruler of the UAE) and he said he is pumping at maximum so no more. The Saudis tell me they might be able to pump another 150 thousand barrels per day, an insignificant amount, but no more. That comment was heard around the world and the implication was clear. Joe you will have to solve your own energy problems. National Security Director, Jake Sullivan pulled him away from the Mic.

The president wants to blame his energy problems on Putin but even his own energy secretary said no, it was a problem before the invasion of Ukraine. He wants to force Americans into green energy, but it is not available, and he can see the nation’s economy crumbling around him, so he needs someone else to blame. This one is on you mister President, you did it and you are doing it. I wonder how this president thinks we can fight a war against Russia and China, at the same time, without energy. He has already drawn down the strategic reserves in an effort to reduce prices and now he wants congress to put a three month hold on the gas tax. These are all just pennies and won’t do anything but fuel more inflation.

NATO met this week as well, in Madrid Spain. The talk there was about their coming hot war with Russia and how to keep the provocations coming until Putin won’t take any more. Seriously though folks, the Europeans seem willing to tone down the rhetoric and they refused any more energy sanctions. Why would they sanction energy any further since they are all cheating anyway? The big news is that Turkey has lifted its objections to Finland and Sweden joining NATO thus clearing the way for two new NATO members.

The Kurds have historic ethnic lands without borders, they say, along Syria’s northern border and Turkey’s southern border extending all the way into Iraq. The Kurds say these are our generational homelands and the Turks say no you are terrorists. The Turks are tired of these cross-border skirmishes and would not agree to NATO expansion until they had assurances. Finland and Sweden lifted their arms embargos against Turkey and pledged not to support the Kurds anymore and to cooperate with Turkey on counterterrorism so poor Kurds. This was a diplomatic win for President Biden who pushed hard to get the agreement. In my opinion it brings us closer to World War lll, not further from it for these reasons.

Finland shares an 810mile border with Russia so rather than avoid NATO in Ukraine it has another NATO country on its border. During the long 40-year cold war Sweden and Finland remained neutral respecting an agreement made with Russia during World War ll, but now I suppose it is time to forget the lessons of history and just plunge ahead. Guess who pays for most of this, that’s right you do because all those weapons going to Turkey including advanced fighters and upgrades for their F-16’s come to US. Arms firms paid for with your tax dollars or at least your future debt.

Keep in mind that this is the same Turkey that bought S-400 air defense systems from Russia specifically designed to shoot down the airplanes the U.S. was selling them so maybe the technology of those jets made its way back to Russia. Mr. Erdogan, the Turkish leader, imprisons his political opponents, helps Iran evade sanctions, and consolidates his own power by undermining election law so how can we tell friend from foe in this. I know that the Soviets used to have a barrier that Churchill referred to as the Iron Curtain. The U.S. spent countless billions to keep it from expanding until one day it collapsed. Now, the U.S. expends countless billions to be the one expanding. Russia screams that this was not the deal, but no one seems to be listening.

On the other side of the world another summit was held in Beijing, China. The normal BRICS nations were there consisting of Brazil. Russia, India, China, and South Africa. Those nations have ambitions of expanding the alliance to a G-8 including three other nations. Only India is not completely decided and seems to want trade with both sides. India has never condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and has never stopped trading with Russia despite the sanctions.

In the Beijing Summit Vladimir Putin announced plans for an international reserve currency. It will be called the Russian Financial Messaging System and it is open for connection to banks of all BRICS nations. Currently that consists of about 40% of the world’s population, and 25% of the world’s economy. Washington imposed de-dollarization on Moscow, so Putin had to find some way around the dollar system. The Russians have been doing a brisk business paying in gold so of course the West has imposed sanctions on gold transfers out of Russia affecting Russia’s ability to pay bills.

The North Koreans accused the U.S. of trying to expand NATO into the Pacific or form a Pacific version consisting of U.S., Japan, South Korea, initially, and there may be something to that containment accusation. Jordan’s King Abdullah proposed a NATO like treaty of Middle East nations formed to fight off Iranian expansion and terrorism. It’s hard to see the divided Middle East with its 1000-year ethnic wars agreeing to anything so binding. At the same time the talks between Iran and the U.S. on Iranian nuclear expansion resumed this week in Doha, Qatar so time will tell, however, Iran and Argentina have chosen sides by applying to the BRICS.

The U.S. and the E.U. combined have poured about $110 billion into Ukraine and that is more than the entire defense budget of Russia. What else would you call that but escalation. In addition, at the NATO summit the U.S. announced that troop strength in Eastern Europe would be increased to about 300,000 which is an incredible effort. Europe will have to go on general mobilization to meet even a small part of it so the U.S. will see its army once again deployed this time against a nuclear power. The deployment is to include the 101 Airborne Division. This is the same U.S. military that is growing critically short because of recruiting shortfalls, especially of pilots.

While this commitment was being made in Europe the U.S. began construction on an advanced air base on the Pacific Island of Tinian. You might recall from history that Tinian was paid for with the blood of U.S. Marines in World War ll, and from it a lone B-29 named Enola Gay delivered the atomic Bomb over Hiroshima. This base is apparently intended as an insurance policy against the loss of Guam, I suppose to Chinese missile attack. Estimated completion in about 12 months.

China has been undergoing a massive military buildup for many years. The North Koreans just completed their 7th nuclear test, and South Korea is reaching out for closer ties to NATO countries. China is expanding worldwide especially in Africa and the Middle East. China is now the largest trading partner in Latin and South America. When they work a deal to colonize some country, they import from China everything except a little local labor. The deal seems great to whatever warlord runs that country, then after a while it is obvious, they are being robbed. It is hard for the U.S. to counter these deals because the main thing we have to sell is weapons and our new ideology which doesn’t work well in Africa or the Middle East, or Latin America. Such an opportunity for America if we had competent people in charge.

In Conclusion a NATO strategy document lists China as a strategic threat and says it is contesting the Rules Based International Order. Who makes those rules, but the U.S., and China has announced very clearly that it is seeking a new international order outside the U.S. dollar denominated system so not surprising? The U.S. continues to threaten, provoke, and bluster as does China, and sooner or later some small spark will set it off and missiles will fly. I pray to God that I am wrong.

Finally, Folks, it is clear to me that Joe Biden is not in charge of much of anything. The administrative and corporate state appears to be running things. For example, the U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken appointed the head of Blackrock Financial which does a huge business in China as its pivot to Asia point man responsible for containing China. He doesn’t want China contained and neither do the other revolving door corporate heads that run U.S. foreign and diplomatic policy. The people who run U.S. China policy do not want China contained because they make billions from China. My view is that we do not have a functional central government at all, but we are just an arm of the corporate administrative unelected and unaccountable state and they have us headed toward a catastrophic war.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.
