    DANGEROUS DAYS

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday June 24th in the year of our Lord 2022, and I will be talking about the end of the unipolar world that has existed since 1991. American Foreign Policy seems to have brought about the rebirth of the cold war as the world is dividing into different camps or choosing sides in this old game of world domination politics. The weapon the U.S. uses in this cold war is economic sanctions which tend to weaken the U.S. and strengthen its adversaries.

A second title to this Report could be bad governance but I’m trying to be kind, so I gave it the title of the results of bad governance. The Biden Administration just announced that it is sending $1 billion more in weapons to Ukraine for 18 more Howitzers, more long-range missiles for long range rocket systems as well as Harpoon anti-ship missiles. These are weapons whose only purpose can be to strike at Russia’s Black Sea fleet. The Russians seem to be intercepting and destroying much of the shipments as they cross the borders into Ukraine so less and less are effective.

The weapons shipments need no further Congressional approval since congress has already signed off on $40 billion which leaves the choice of weapons with the President or those of his choosing. This brings the total to something like $56 billion and climbing so the question becomes how much is enough, $60-$70 billion perhaps. It is apparently very expensive to weaken Russia as Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin told us was the real purpose. So, we play this cold war game as we fight a losing proxy war against Russia in Ukraine while conditions here in America are deteriorating rapidly. I call that bad governance.

People are suffering but this American President seems incapable of caring or even noticing. Gas prices above $5 per gallon on average nationwide. The cost of basic food necessities soaring all of which destroys real wages of the American people. Crime rates including murder are also soaring out of control, and all taken together looks very bad. The people see the 10’s of billions being poured down the ratholes in Ukraine and they must be wondering what about us.

Almost daily the administration seems to find new ways of provoking a nuclear confrontation with Russia. The latest is a blockade of materials through Lithuania to the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad which is a small sliver of land and people between EU and NATO members Poland and Lithuania. Supplies from Russia come through rail lines and gas pipelines. Lithuania announced that it was banning rail transport of goods subject to EU sanctions which includes coal, metals, construction materials and technology, or about 50% of all goods, but not food according to the Lithuanians.

The Russians demanded an immediate lift of the ban or else. Or else what? The Russian statement reads like this, “If in the near future cargo transit between the Kaliningrad region and the rest of the territory of the Russian Federation through Lithuania is not restored in full, then Russia reserves the right to take actions to protect its national interests.” The usual diplomatic protests were delivered as well as a statement that the ban was a violation of Lithuania’s international legal obligations. Russia also stated that it considers the action to be “openly hostile.”

The action by Lithuania to provoke a nuclear armed country with which it shares a border is a serious matter with potentially dire consequences. The Foreign Minister of Lithuania said they were simply complying with sanctions imposed by the EU, and that they were taken after consultation with the European Commission and under its guidelines. So, they were doing what the EU told them to do and the EU did what Washington told it to do. I can’t help but wonder if Washington is trying to provoke Russia into attacking a NATO country so it could have a kinetic Russia against NATO war.

If that is the goal in all this, then it is a very stupid and very dangerous goal because Washington and the EU have already divided the world into hostile camps. In an admitted attempt to weaken Russia they have made it stronger. The Ruble is currently approximately twice as strong against the dollar as when it all started. The worst of it is that a coalition of nations has united against the interests of the West. China just issued a statement that it supported Russia’s actions in Ukraine. China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Syria, even south Africa and many smaller nations have all joined this coalition.

Several of the Middle Eastern nations are onboard or teetering on the brink. Qatar just signed one of the world’s largest natural gas deals to sell natural gas to China long term. President Biden went to Qatar and asked for the United States to be considered but they said no Joe, but thanks for coming. The United States has lost its place in the world and has lost the respect of other nations. Recently President Biden convened the summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, but he did not invite Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua. The result of the snub was at least partially responsible for causing the Nicaraguan President, Daniel Ortega, to invite Russian troops and military bases into his country. Reportedly about 230 Russian troops are currently occupying a base on the Pacific coast of that country. So, no more Monroe doctrine and thanks again Joe Biden. Furthermore, Columbia, long a U.S. ally just elected an old narco terrorist and Marxist as president.

On the other side of the world the Chinese are quite openly preparing for war in the area, specifically Taiwan, but also South Korea and even Japan is involved. Just a couple of days ago China sent a large integrated strike package of 29 aircraft into Taiwan air space. Everybody around the world seems to be nuking up right now. The North Koreans are testing nuclear weapons and the Secretary of the U.S. Army recently said it might be necessary to put nukes in South Korea as a deterrent. The South Koreans are reportedly close to a delivery vehicle for the nuclear war head they expect to have within 12 months.

Even economically China is leaning toward Russia and away from the U.S. Chinese oil imports are up 67% this year and reportedly they have amassed a huge amount of unrefined crude. When asked if they would sell the oil to the West, no was their answer. Many Chinese refineries are reportedly offline due to COVID lockdown madness, but that can change anytime they want to change it.

The Chinese have recently tested a mid-course intercept missile defense system. Why, probably because they know that the Taiwanese have missiles that could hit deep into China, and they want a defense against them when they decide to invade. The Chinese read the same think tank evaluations that predict the U.S. would not be able to defeat China in a conventional war in the Indo-Pacific region that we in the U.S. read and as a result they are making bold moves because they sense weakness.

In the United States the corporate interests that are heavily involved in China, pressure their congressmen and Senators to tread carefully with China. Their lobbyists tread the halls of congress through their corporate and NGO revolving doors. Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, recently bragged about his commitment to China and its 5 million Chinese employees. Essentially, I interpret his statement as Apple is no longer an American Company. Just as the Saudis are trying to buy professional golf, and China has bought professional basketball they use those sports to cover what they do. When they pay athletes multi-millions not many really care about human rights abuses.

India is the most important player in the Geopolitics of the Pacific region because it is one of the BRICS nations or Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa that are putting together a new G-8 group of nations to compete with the Western financial control of world trade. It is obvious that China is seeking to build a competing new world order. Which way will India go, or which ally will it choose for its future security? They have and are continuing to develop ways to avoid U.S. sanctions and trade outside the dollar system. Russia has been quite successful in demanding payment for its petroleum products in rubles. Which way will India go is the question?

What has been gained by U.S. sanctions against Russia if anything. The bottom line is that the West is much weaker as a result. The global oil market is certainly not cooperating with the sanctions as even the Europeans often ignore them. According to the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air, Russia is earning more money from oil exports than it was before the sanctions began. Russian oil profits are 60% higher than they were last year. The only thing the sanctions seem to be accomplishing is the destruction of the U.S. economy, and the collapse of the Western Order.

Vladimir Putin recently said that relations with the West are at an all time low. That means even worse than the cold war. I don’t remember the U.S. being so openly hostile even when Russia controlled Eastern Europe all the way to Berlin. The St. Petersburg Economic Forum held recently was the site of Putin’s remarks. He said that anti-Russian sanctions have only come back to hurt the people of the EU and the West broadly. He pointed out the obvious, soaring gas and food prices, inflation fears, severe supply chain shortages.

He declared an end to the Unipolar world that we know by saying that new powers have arisen with their own economic system and with the right to protect themselves. The entire system of international relations has changed. He estimated the cost of anti-Russian sanctions to the EU alone to be around $400 billion. He said he is still willing to talk to people who understand what’s going to happen. “Russia is entering the coming era as a powerful sovereign country. We will definitely use the enormous new opportunities that time opens up for us.”

The U.S., on the other hand, projects nothing but weakness and disarray. I say that because the U.S. has abandoned its own values and other countries are definitely taking notice. The values of the constitution, the family, quiet home life, a safe environment in which to raise a family, even religious values have all been abandoned. Now American diplomats go abroad and talk to other nations about Black Lives Matter, transgender rights, gender bending surgery, men can get pregnant, men can become women just by thinking about it and most of all climate change.

Countries such as those with which the U.S. used to have influence don’t want to hear it anymore. Climate change is a first world luxury and developing countries are not interested in hearing about it. Oh, they will take your money if you offer them $100 million to promote climate change, they will take it and distribute it to their strong men and cartels, but they won’t do it. Even the Philippines, longtime U.S, ally and generally a catholic country, is now more aligned with China.

In addition, many of these countries have been subject to severe sanctions such as Venezuela and Iran which has had its economy shut down and its scientists and officials killed. These kinds of sanctions often have the opposite effect that was intended. Like strategic bombing, they usually make a determined opponent willing to fight to the death and are counterproductive. Sanctions are the only weapon available and now they have been tried and have failed.

Finally, folks, these are indeed very dangerous days. We flirt with nuclear war as if we have no fear of it happening. The administration has used the COVID insanity and is using the Ukraine War as cover for a Keynesian—Socialist transformation and domination of what used to be American Society which they apparently hope to impose on the whole world. It’s not going to work.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

    THE MISERY INDEX

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 17th day of June in the year of our Lord 2022 and on this Report, I will be talking about inflation primarily, but also what economists using Bureau of Labor Statistics data, refer to as the misery index. When will inflation subside, when will gas and food be affordable again, what is causing this misery, Those are questions worthy of our discussion today.

What I will try to do today is to give you some thoughts on how regular Americans are experiencing life every day and how this extremely empathetic administration, this we are always on the side of the working people, the little people, and against big business, political party is really made up of the most callous, unfeeling people in this country.

Americans are feeling the pain of this callous administration alright. They feel it at the pump, at the grocery store, on the vacation they don’t take, they feel it every day as prices continue to skyrocket with no end in sight. There will eventually be an end of course as all things end, but what will that entail, chaos, civil disorder, violence, or just the continued tyranny of the global cabal? From The Wall Street Journal:

“Energy and food prices made up much of the May increase, but this is cold comfort for consumers. Americans used to be able to substitute lower-cost protein when beef prices rose. But everything at the supermarket has become more expensive in the past year—eggs (32.2%), chicken (16.6%), milk (15.9%), even soup (13.9%). Lower-wage workers are getting crushed by Bidenomics.”

The Misery Index tells us something about the health of the economy and along with it the health of the nation. As the rate of inflation goes up the cost-of-living increases and as unemployment rises more and more people are dropped into poverty. The misery index then, is a look in the mirror for the economy and for the administration for that matter, telling them the condition of the average worker.

Yes, ordinary people are suffering as their standard of living collapses. I usually top off my gas tank on Sunday to be ready for the drive to work the following week. The last two Sundays the price was up 20 cents per gallon each week. When people pay more and more for gas each week and more and more for food each week their families sink deeper below their former standard of living. It’s as if their wages are being cut each week. It would break the heart of anyone not a complete psychopath or in the Biden administration.

What exactly has been the administration’s reaction to all this? Several evolving approaches consisting of everything from pure propaganda to wishful thinking, to embarrassing lies, have been unsuccessfully tried. The president wants the public to blame anything and anyone but himself for the misery inflation is causing. From its just transitory, and nothing to worry about to inflation is good to its Trump’s fault to its Covid’s fault to its Putin’s price hike to its big oil’s fault. It went from there to having press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre say, “We feel that we are in a good position to take on inflation.” The bottom line for the president is that the misery index is everybody and everything’s fault except his.

It’s the fault of the pandemic, it’s the fault of corporate greed and the rich who don’t pay their fair share, but most of all it’s the Putin inflation tax. However, I don’t remember Putin giving away trillions with no corresponding production to offset it and I don’t remember him canceling the Keystone Pipeline or blocking drilling offshore and on federal lands, and I don’t remember that he imposed any sanctions on himself. This is all just lies to justify what president Biden and the Democrat prosperity destroying radicals in the Democrat Party tell us to cover their own responsibility for intentionally ruining the lives of the American people.

That is a big charge, I know it is, but it is based on the President’s repeated announcements, confessions of intentions, or whatever you want to call them. He told us he was going to destroy the oil industry and the fossil fuel industry in general. That is one of the few promises he has lived up to, but he didn’t tell us how we were going to be able to buy food and get to work. Destruction of the Pipeline, continual restrictions on drilling and on the production of natural gas. The sanctions against Russia and other oil producing countries such as Venezuela, but not Saudi Arabia of course have all contributed to the destruction.

We are supposed to be learning new habits, you see. When gas costs more we will drive less and use more green energy. Are you mad yet.? Does that callous disregard for the lives of the people he is supposed to be serving infuriate you as much as it does me? Well, the New York Times recently carried an Op-Ed which sought to tell us the upside to inflation. It was called “You want to buy meat? In this economy?” As blogger Scott Johnson explains about the article, it is like a bad cough contracted by a cigarette smoker, a good opportunity to lose a bad habit.

The Times: “Inflation has the potential to drive welcome change for the planet if Americans think differently about the way they eat.” I can’t take this anymore, this self-righteous, deluded, pontificating, horse manure, but I am compelled to give you the last sentence just to make you even more angry. “Climate change has motivated some to eat less resource-intensive meat and more vegetables, grains and legumes, but this movement has not reached the scale necessary to bring needed change—yet.”

All that word salad written in Ivy League language can be boiled down to this: We oh so superior, so aware, so woke, so intelligent, we are going to starve you ordinary people until you comply with our demands. We will decide the future of America not you ignorant peasants. What she doesn’t quite understand—yet, is that if she is lucky as a good useful idiot, perhaps they will kill her last.

The Democrats are aware of what they are doing to the American people, and they are aware of what it means for them at the polls in November, so they are faced with a real dilemma. Do they stop inflation and let things return to normal which would mean crashing the stock market, business and personal bankruptcies, unemployment, and depression, but most likely the misery would be over in a couple of years? If they choose to let inflation continue it will be the same at first, then years, possibly decades, of hunger, poverty, war, destitution, and chaos as the monetary system collapses possibly worldwide.

To end inflation, the Fed only has to raise interest rates above the rate of inflation which would solve the problem, but also cause the troubles I just mentioned. The problem is that when inflation was last upon us during the Carter years and Paul Volcker came in as Fed chairman under Reagan to fix it he raised interest rates into the double digits which collapsed housing and stock markets, but in a couple of years the economy went on a decades long boom. That method will be very difficult this time around even assuming the Biden administration had the guts to do it.

The following explanation is just plain logic and commonsense that anyone can see, but the numbers applied to this logic come curtesy of our friends at Zero Hedge. When Carter/Volcker/Reagan raised rates to save the economy in the 70’s and 80’s the U.S, government debt was less than I trillion. Now it is over31 trillion. At that level of debt every 1% increase in interest rates means an additional $310 billion in interest payments. The rates have been effectively zero for many years and that still means $305 billion. The Fed says it will raise to 3 1/4% as of last Wednesday.

That simple raise which would not stop inflation or even come close to stopping it would mean the U.S. would spend about 1 trillion in interest without reducing debt by a cent. According to the CBO, the Congressional Budget Office the U.S. will have a deficit of two trillion this year which will mean a debt of over 33 trillion which makes every one percent raise in interest $330 billion in interest payments. The folks at Zero Hedge think that stopping inflation will mean destroying the bond and credit markets and therefore the FED will not stop it, but let it rage on. Time will tell if they are right.

All those numbers mean a debt crises of unprecedented proportions is on the way one way or another. No one at the Fed or the administration, it seems, has the courage or even the desire to do what is best for the country. Retaining power is more important than survival of the country as a whole. There is so much at stake here folks, it would be hard to overstate. The lives of countless millions as well as the future of the greatest nation state in history are all bound up in this decision.

This particular inflation is not ordinary in the sense that it is not the normal business cycle, and it is not event driven. That just means that gas goes up when the Saudis turn off the spout or bread goes up in a snowstorm. That kind of inflation is no problem because it corrects itself in a short time without the government doing anything to make it worse. Price increases are just information which might tell us that there was a freeze in Florida and the price of oranges went up or maybe the public just wants more oranges.

That type of inflation is easy because as prices rise consumers consume less and producers produce more so the problem solves itself. When the price of everything goes up at once, however, it tells us that we have a money problem because our money is losing value. The oranges, the hamburger, the gas, aren’t suddenly worth more, the money is suddenly worth less. The Consumer Price Index from last week tells us that inflation is accelerating, and price increases are entrenched in the economy. Will the Fed begin an aggressive, for them, series of interest rate hikes which will add to the political problems for the Democrats, or will the Fed abandon its mission and succumb to political pressure?

Since about 1999 new money has entered the economy at about 8 trillion according to Bonner research. That’s ten times as much as had been printed since the Fed was formed in 1913 combined. This money just fell on businesses and individuals alike until they become addicted. I see it in the laisse faire attitude of many of the people in my law office each week. Oh well the government has always done something to save us, and it always will, or we will vote in a new, more accommodating government. Wars, transfers, stimulation, giveaways, corporate welfare, and other boondoggles all got their share of the new, unearned money.

In conclusion, inflation is one side of the coin of misery for ordinary people. The other side of the coin is declining real wages. People have less money each week to buy goods which are ever increasing in price so fewer goods are bought. How long before gas and food are out of reach for the average American? What will they do then, buy a Tesla and eat bugs? How bad are things in this once great country right now? Even babies are starving because their formula is gone to the border to feed invading migrants and the factories are closed. If that were not enough, even the moms of the babies can’t get sanitary supplies.

Finally, Folks, it looks bad in the misery mirror right now, but maybe I’m wrong. Even my dear wife calls me a pessimist sometimes, but I respond with no, my dear, I’m a realist. To quote one of ancient Greece’s Stoic philosophers, Epictetus “For what is the professed object of reasoning? To state the true, to eliminate the false, to suspend judgment in doubtful cases.”

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

    PRIDE GOETH BEFORE A FALL

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 10th day of June in the year of our Lord 2022 and on this Report, I will be talking about how the civilian leadership, appointed by the Biden Administration, and the upper command of the Marine Corps has accomplished something that no foreign enemy has been able to accomplish in over 240 years of combat. That accomplishment was to wear down the United States Marine Corps and force it to surrender to the forces of identity politics and to recognize publicly a month set aside to honor a certain group of people for their sexual preference alone.

The title to this Report is from Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. So, The Few the Proud the Marines forgets the basic mission and focuses on the celebration of Pride Week. What is the basic mission of the Marine Corps? Is it to achieve diversity of all ideologies within the ranks? I was taught the mission 50 years ago as follows: To close with and destroy the enemy and to inflict maximum attrition on him. It is a mission and a history based on blood and sacrifice. Officers are taught that the order of value is first the mission and its successful completion, second the men under your authority, third your own life. You quickly come to learn and accept that your life as a second lieutenant is pretty far down the order of importance.

I mention all that just to tell you that it is a beloved organization by the people who have served and most of us would not trade the experience for anything.  When we were sent into battle, we knew that we had each other’s back and we depended on and relied on each other. In fact, setting aside all the patriotic stuff, we fought for each other.  I assume Marines still do that and that is why division and divisive nonsense like Pride Month are such an insult to Marines. We are 10 days into Pride Month and everywhere you look there are rainbow flags signifying support for the month set aside to honor the “LGBTQ Community. “I’m an old Marine from 50 years ago so seeing a notice that the Marine Corps had finally surrendered to the woke mob was a little perplexing to me. I know things change and culture changes in keeping with the law of thermodynamics, but the Marine Corps does not change, it lives forever as is.

The exact statement the Marine Corps released from headquarters Marine Corps in Washington D.C. announcing recognition of Pride Month was as follows: “Throughout June, the USMC takes Pride in recognizing and honoring the contributions of our LGBTQ service members. We remain committed to fostering an environment free from discrimination, and defend the values of treating all equally, with dignity and respect.”

The image released with the statement was widely mocked on social media and was apparently taken from the 1987 film by Stanley Kubrick, “Full Metal Jacket.” The illustration was a Marine helmet with several rainbow-colored rifle bullets in the band with the words “Proud to Serve” written on the helmet. The difference between that image and the film image was that in the film version the helmet said, “born to kill. “If you saw that movie then you understand what those men portrayed as Marines endured and you might start to understand.

Whether born that way or not, killing is every Marines’ job and the bottom line of his duty. I suppose they should go ahead and change the slogan used in TV recruiting commercials for years, The Few the Proud, the Marines. Now perhaps we should just say we are proud to support pride. Seriously though I don’t get this. A whole month set aside to honor certain people’s sexual preference, and the Marine Corps joining the festivities. The Marine Corps has always been above such civilian pandering.

I suppose if you served in the Marine Corps, you understand what I’m saying, and if you have not had that honor perhaps you don’t understand. The slightest deviation from the standards that had existed for so many years was met with outrage in my day. The idea that we would deviate from the uniform standard was bad enough, but to change the physical fitness standard to accommodate those who could not pass it would have been shocking. No less shocking than the pronouncement about Pride Month.

The battle wasn’t easy because those who seek civilizational destruction knew that the Marine Corps would be a tough nut to crack. It started with President Clinton’s election and the pressure he was under to change the military into a social laboratory and accept homosexuals. He finally agreed to something he called “don’t ask don’t tell” which at the time seemed like a fair compromise. That is a far cry, however, from Pride Month. It has been evolving over the past 30 years a little at a time until the Biden Administration.

President Clinton famously said when he was Governor of Arkansas that he loathed the military. At least he was honest about how he felt which is more than I can say for Biden. I don’t know if its his advancing age, his obvious mental decline or whether he has always been this way, but he doesn’t respect or even care about the military. For example, his disgraceful retreat from Afghanistan leaving 13 dead Americans and many more left to the mercies of the Afghan Taliban. Number two his ignoring the 78th anniversary of D-Day last Monday, just as he ignored the Battle of Midway 80th anniversary and the Doolittle Raid 80th anniversary when he spoke to the Naval Academy graduates on May 27th.

I suppose I shouldn’t say he ignored D-Day because when his Twitter kept lighting up his staff at 8:45 PM Est after the day was over in France, he issued a statement: “Today, we mark 78 years since D-Day and honor those who answered duty’s call on the beaches of Normandy. We must never forget their service and sacrifice in defense of freedom, and we must strive every day to live up to the ideals they fought to defend.”

A very pitiful last second, oh wait a minute I forgot something, effort. There was so much more he could have said to honor those men some of whom are still living. He could visit a veterans’ home or veterans cemetery and give a brief talk and that way he could see the results that people like him have inflicted on so many men over the years. The Afghanistan withdrawal was the worst, because he was warned that the Afghan military would collapse and that if he closed Bagram before the evacuation there would be no air cover for those troops, but he did it anyway. During the ceremony of their bodies returning to Dover air base he was seen on video checking his watch several times.

This is so infuriating and so vile and disgusting I can’t talk about it anymore, but I must, and I will if for no other reason than to honor my fellow Marines who have served and died over the centuries to preserve an ideal and a way of life that he obviously doesn’t appreciate or understand. But wait a minute folks, maybe I’m overreacting, maybe this isn’t as bad as I am making it sound. On second thought no, I’m not overreacting, and it is that bad. See folks, what the president doesn’t understand is why they did it and continue to do it whenever asked.

There are nebulous concepts like freedom and democracy but the real reason for most military sacrifice has to do with home and family and a way of life that is or was unique in all of mankind’s history on this earth. From the time the revolutionaries founded this government based on the concept of the rights of the individual over those of the collective, people have sought to destroy the idea in the minds of the people. That’s why politicians constantly talk about democracy and never say the word republic. They want the word to lose its meaning in our minds and they have been very successful in that.

After all the sacrifice of World War ll the government continued to call them to arms and they trusted their government to have the best of intentions. They never suspected for a minute that their government would consistently lie to them, but in Vietnam, and in its aftermath they found out.  Robert McNamara, in a televised interview with Walter Cronkite, said it was all a mistake and we shouldn’t have made it. Never again will we believe the group of power seekers who constantly rattle the sabers, always ready to fight to the last drop of our blood.

Let me quote author Richard Fernandez for a moment to see if he can give a more eloquent answer than I have been able to give. “What a wonderful feeling to be in command. The elevator rose because the passenger entered it. The radio spoke because someone turned the knob. The cellphone works because the on switch was pressed. But change the problem a little, and because we have omitted all the understanding, the magical appliance may not work at all, and we have no way to fix it. This is perhaps the reason why our politicians, the modern sorcerers, with all the clanking machinery of The End of History at their disposal, are surprised when their confident plans to boost the economy, flatten the pandemic curve and replace nuclear plants with windmills unaccountably take off in unknown directions. The usual explanation is its not that Woke sorcery has stopped working; its bad luck. Or maybe it’s because they forgot they were standing on the shoulders of giants and carelessly discarded what came before.”

Yes Mr. Fernandez, well said, they stand on the shoulders of giants, but sometimes today those giant shoulders are commanded by those who seek a level of destruction and extermination that is unknown in our history. In other words, its not a mistake or just a bad day at the office for them, its intentional. But for the Marines, current and old, living, and dead, we can take a common pride in our calling. We are united by shared pride in courage, honor, loyalty, and history and so we are still needed though often unappreciated. Knowledge is hard won, our understanding imperfect, our survival always in question, is never guaranteed.

We take pride in our old martial spirit and our willingness to make war on our enemies. War, today, has morphed from military to economic, but we failed to notice the change. The results, however, are the same. The defeated have lost their land, property, and freedom, but if they are good boys, the conquerors will allow them to continue their existence as minimum wage debt slaves.

The people who make the decisions to corrupt the Marine Corps with “Pride Month” have no loyalty to us. They do not love us or even respect us. Their loyalty is to the globalist ruling class—the superelite globalist corporations and not to us. Semper Fidelis is the motto of the Marine Corps and that means always faithful. Now I have to ask, faithful to what or to whom? Just as the medieval knight pledged faithfulness and loyalty to his liege lord, that lord earned it. Faith must be earned, not required. They have not earned our faithfulness, not by a long shot, but then, we don’t do it for them.

In conclusion folks, I don’t celebrate anything, whether a month or a day that seems stupid and a meaningless virtue signaling gesture. A month that celebrates a form of behavior and has nothing to do with any accomplishment is a stupid idea and is more in the nature of culture destroying than celebration and honor. It started out as Gay Pride Month, but so many different people wanted in on the deal that it had to be shortened to Pride Month. In my view if you are defined by your sexuality and have nothing else to recommend you then you might not be worthy of celebration, and perhaps you have no reason to have pride. Doesn’t anyone have any dignity anymore, any modesty? I guess not.

Finally, folks, those men who defeated Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan and who fought so gallantly against the spread of Communism for so many years just to see their victory simply replaced with a new enemy. This country is no longer worthy of them.

At least that’s the way I see it.

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

SCREAM LOUDLY AND CARRY NO STICK AT ALL

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 3rd of June in the year of our Lord 2022 and in this Report, I will be talking about President Biden’s commencement address to the graduating class at the United States Naval Academy this past Friday, May 27th as well as how that address reflects American foreign policy and the future service of those young Navy Ensigns, and Marine Second Lieutenants, as they go forth to project American power around the world.

I can’t begin this Report without reminding you that tomorrow June 4th is the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Midway. That battle fought in the dark and desperate early months of World War ll changed the course of the War and the course of history in general.  Due to the sacrifice and courage of all those naval officers and men of the U.S. Navy, Japan’s ultimate defeat became inevitable, but it took three more years of bloodshed and atomic horror before they would accept it.

The President of the United States celebrated Memorial Day by delivering the commencement address to the graduating officers at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland on Friday May 27th. I’m not going to indulge you by making tired jokes about his slurred delivery, his confusion, his inability to pronounce words or to say the correct words because all that is old news now. He did make some terrible gaffes and he did continue his creepy habit of leaning over the podium and whispering. He did do a lot of literal screaming when talking about Russia to these young officers.

What he did not say was to me, far more important than what he did say. Just on a brief inventory he did not mention the 80th anniversary that I just discussed. It would have been a perfect time to tell them that a worthwhile goal for their naval careers would be to just begin to live up to the courage and sacrifice of those men at Midway. Most of these officers will undoubtably be posted to the Pacific where there is a growing threat of war with China thanks to his loose lips. He threatened war with China over Taiwan when answering a reporter’s question in Japan. Would the U.S. military come to the aid of Taiwan in case of a Chinese attack? Yes, he said that’s our commitment.

I wonder if he is so far gone that he doesn’t know that is not our commitment and never has been, unless of course he has changed it and was just announcing the change. He undid about 46 years of American policy and relative peace with China with one sentence. What is the most important job of a U.S. President? One might argue that it is to prevent nuclear war. This man seems unaware of that job requirement and is increasingly willing to roll the dice with Russia and China. Another thing he could have told the graduates is that you are going in harm’s way, and you will be the tip of the spear delivering your aircraft and its ordinance where needed. China is a big problem now, thanks to my leadership and so, a lot will be demanded and expected of you, but I know you are up to it, and you have had the best training in the world to prepare.

None of that was said of course, nothing to bolster them and to uplift them for the many years of service, apart from loved ones, that lies ahead of them. Instead, he chose to make the occasion about him instead of them. I’m certain he is unfamiliar with Teddy Roosevelt’s line from which I drew the title of this Report. Walk softly and carry a big stick the Bull Moose famously said. By that line Roosevelt was emphasizing that diplomacy is the correct way to conduct international relations and the big stick should only be used as a deterrent when all else fails.

This President screams a lot and for evidence I give you his two-minute screaming rant against Vladimir Putin. He apparently intended to stir up these graduates and get them fired up about going to war against a nuclear power. He attacked Putin’s “brutal, brutal war in Ukraine: Not only is he trying to take over Ukraine, he’s literally trying to wipe out the culture and identity of the Ukrainian people, attacking schools, nurseries, hospitals, museums with no other purpose than to eliminate a culture. A direct assault on the fundamental tenets of rule-based international order.”

I must point out that the transcript prepared by the White House corrects some of his gaffes such as saying North Korea when he meant South Korea and his inability to pronounce certain words, but it also does not convey the display of anger that he exhibited by shouting. My favorite whopper to these future navy and Marine Corps officers was about, you guessed it climate change.

“Over the past few years, we’ve seen how interconnected the world is. The deadly pandemic has impacted not just our own schooling, but almost every aspect of our lives—impacts of disruptions to the global supply chain causing significant inflation; accelerating the climate crisis that’s leading to rising seas and more severe weather patterns around the globe.” All complete horse manure of course, but that is what he expects these officers to believe. What do they think about their commander-in-chief when he stands before them and lies repeatedly to their face?

I suppose he thinks they will just accept his statement that the virus accelerated the climate crisis and led to rising seas. Well, many of them undoubtedly studied physics at the academy so perhaps they can explain to the more skeptical how that works. His statements about Putin are nonsense as well and completely illogical. Ukraine has been a part of Russia for well over a thousand years. Mongols fought ethnic Russians on the plains of Ukraine as did Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolph Hitler. Saint Vladimir the Great was born in Kiev in 958 and founded the Russian Orthodox church there, a church of which Vladimir Putin is a member. Why would he try to destroy his own cultural heritage?

This President isn’t even skilled enough to tell a believable lie. He lies so often, so repeatedly, in our faces that he must think we are all a bunch of idiots. Doesn’t he have speech writers to write and review his speeches? I guess they are liars as well or perhaps the writers and people who load the teleprompter have been educated in today’s progressive schools, so they don’t recognize the difference between a Democrat talking point and the truth. There’s one thing I’m certain of and that is that those young officers understand his lies and they are not filled with confidence in their commander-in-chief.

Let me return to China and Taiwan for a few minutes. Open support for Taiwan has never been U.S. strategy. From the time Nixon and Kissinger went to China in 1974 the policy has been one of strategic ambiguity. That means the U.S. never made a clear statement on whether it would come to the aid of Taiwan if China invaded. Many thought we would, but that decision was left open to avoid unnecessary provocation of China. The U.S. agreed to never refute the one China policy and for decades that has been our diplomatic and military policy.

The President’s destruction of strategic ambiguity in one sentence is more important than you might think. He committed the United States to a course potentially leading to nuclear war for no reason. He emboldened the Taiwanese government and infuriated the Chinese. There are reports coming out of China that the Chinese have ordered full mobilization in response. Taiwan is very important to China as a manner of pride, but also economically. Taiwan is by far the world leader in computer chip manufacture and the U.S. has offshored virtually all its chip making to Taiwan. The Chinese know that, and they know it would be devastating for the U.S. to lose that chip access.

Still, for decades the Chinese have left Taiwan alone, undoubtedly because for decades they did not have the military capability to take it. Now, they, at least, think they do have that capability. You hear a lot of noise about hypersonic missiles these days but what does hypersonic mean? That technology has only one purpose, to counter the U.S. Navy’s carrier battle groups. A Ford Class nuclear super carrier costs about 13 billion to build not including its 80 aircraft costing 50 to 250 million each. More importantly it is home to 5000 sailors and about 100 marines. I believe right now that it is a sitting duck for hypersonic missiles.

A hypersonic missile is launched, straight up into space where it acquires its programed target, then it accelerates to hypersonic speed which is about 4000 miles per hour or greater and heads straight down into its target. Doesn’t the Navy have anti-missile technology and aren’t carriers surrounded by a screening force? Yes, to both questions and suppose one missile could be intercepted, what about a hundred at once because that is how they would be launched. What I’m trying to say is that the U.S. needs time to counter that technology and that is where the speak softly until you actually have the big stick comes into play.

President Biden’s loose lips may very well sink ships unless cooler heads can prevail. Last year, a navy watchdog report demonstrated repeatedly that the U.S. Navy is unprepared for a war with China. The report cites tight resources for shipbuilding and maintenance, shortcomings in training, as well as low morale. Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Navy just announced that he thinks the greatest threat the Navy faces is climate change. His report, dubbed “Climate Action 2030” reports Navy plans to build climate resilience, reduce climate threat and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It said nothing about fighting and winning a war with the Chinese navy.

My guess is that the Chinese Navy has a completely different set of priorities. For one thing I will wager that every high-ranking Chinese Naval Officer along with the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party is sane. They may imprison millions, they may persecute religious minorities, they may harvest organs from political dissidents, but they are solidly sane. I will surmise that not a single one of them thinks that a man can get pregnant, or that a man can become a woman just by thinking about it. I don’t even think they give much thought or effort to recruiting more gay and transgendered people into the Chinese Navy.

All that would be great food for thought for our future naval officers I would think. Meanwhile back in the real world of ordinary people, here are some other thoughts he could have mentioned. Food prices were 9.4% higher in April 2022 than in April 2021—the largest annual increase in 41 years. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics grocery prices were up 10.8% for the year. The AAA reports that gas prices are setting all time highs across the nation just in time for the summer driving season. Because of the lack of fertilizer and increased diesel prices, farmers are telling us food prices are going to double by October.

Finally, folks, does anybody have an answer or does anybody even care that we are on an intentional track to national poverty? The President says we are in a transition to a new way of life that will be better. But Mr. President the people have no bread. During the transition, let them eat cake.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

    ORDINARY PEOPLE

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 27th day of May in the year of our Lord 2022 and this is also Memorial Day weekend when we pause to remember all those who served and especially those who died. Today I will be talking about all those ordinary people and discussing what they face in this new world today. A world run by powerful and wealthy people who meet in dark cabal to decide the fate of all those ordinary people and the fate of their prodigy as well.

To introduce this Report, I turn to the words of economist Bill Bonner. “Basic expenses—food. Shelter, and fuel—are going up so fast, households have less and less left over for discretionary spending, which leaves the big box retailers with a lot of unsold product in the box. And today we feel their pain—the misery—desolation—and anguish of the working classes, both at home and abroad. These are the guys and gals with chainsaws and work belts—with 18 wheelers to edge into a tight spot—with a night shift to complete without falling asleep—with croissants to bake or laundry to wash.

These are the people who made the world what it is. They fell on Normandy beaches—built the Brooklyn Bridge—put down the hardtop roads—baked the cookies—and delivered the mail. And now they are still the people who add the most real value to our lives. Not the hedge fund managers, influencers, or policymakers—but autoworkers, farmers, UPS drivers, cooks, baristas, and waiters—carpenters, plumbers, and masons. And here’s the gist of our story: the masses have been cheated, deleted, and mistreated. And it’s going to get worse.”

Well amen Bill, in fact I could stop this report right now and thanks to your eloquent words my point would be made, but there is more to the story. The elite class, some 2500 of the world’s most powerful and wealthy, gather as I speak in Davos Switzerland to plot their dark, satanic agenda of world domination. They go on and on about climate change, limiting your meat intake, advising you to eat bugs and take the subway, while flying in on their private jets and flaunting their lifestyles. Their words reveal in clear focus the enormous divide between the elites and ordinary people.

To kick things of in this year’s meeting of the World Economic Forum we had a speech by the WEF founder and author of the book, “The Great Reset” Klaus Schwab. Mr. Schwab, a German, but of course there are no nationalities to him, gave the opening speech and it was a real doozy. He said “the future is not just happening; the future is built by those of us in this room. We have the means to improve the world, but two things are necessary. 1. We must act as stakeholders of the world with stakeholder responsibility, i.e., act responsibly. 2. We must collaborate and work together.”

This speech was given to a group of people who consider themselves far superior to the other 8 billion or so people in the world. They have not been elected or even delegated the power to build our future. Their dark vision of the future is unworkable and dystopian, but in their efforts to implement it they will tear this world apart as they are already doing. Many dictators and so-called leaders were in attendance at this meeting and that tells me where their loyalties lie.

The loyalty and fidelity of the leaders of this world from Joe Biden to Emmanuel Macron, to Boris Johnson owe their allegiance to the people in that meeting and not to us. In fact, they hate us and place loyalty to their ideology over the well-being of their constituents, all those ordinary people. The evidence that they hate us is enormous and accumulating daily. Start with COVID and the economy destroying, soul-crushing restrictions placed on the formerly free world over the last two years. Their science repeatedly refuted, but they persisted as they continue to do. Nothing else but they hate us makes any sense or explains anything.

The President of the United States, as we all know, occasionally goes off script and when he does, the truth might just escape from his lips. Inflation continues at a level that is in the extreme danger zone of going psychological. By that I mean that 10% is a psychological barrier and when it is crossed people panic and do unpredictable things. The stock market and bond market are eating away at people’s livelihoods and retirements just to add a backdrop to the President’s statement.

While giving a speech in Tokyo, Japan the other day as part of his Asian trip he was in a question-and-answer session at the end. His answer was a clear admission that the chaos and pain the nation is enduring is all part of an intentional plan to transition into the new world the elites prefer. “And when it comes to gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger, and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over.”

Perhaps even the most skeptical among us will admit that it would be somewhat comforting to have just a little bit of evidence that our rulers were not actively rooting for and planning our destruction. In other words, this is all intentional. The cancelation of oil and gas pipelines, the cancellation and restrictions of natural gas production, the banning in areas where known deposits exist, all for the purpose of reducing the ability of ordinary people to have access to cheap energy.

The suggestion from the Biden Department of Energy, buy an expensive, possibly unavailable because of supply chain problems, and which you can’t take on a road trip, electric car. A real let them eat cake moment. They are not hiding the fact anymore that they want ordinary people to suffer. The people Bill Bonner mentioned in my opening paragraph are suffering and that is what these people want. This has gone from political disagreement or ideological differences to deliberate sabotage to obtain the satanic goals of the world’s elite as personified in this year’s World Economic Forum.

Another speech at this year’s forum was delivered by J. Michael Evans, president of the Alibaba Group. He spoke to announce that a new social compliance platform developed by his company and being tested right now in Chinese cities might be the wave of our future. He said, “we’re developing, through technology, an ability for consumers to measure their own carbon footprint. What does that mean? That’s where are they traveling, how are they traveling, what are they eating, what are they consuming on the platform? Stay tuned, we don’t have it operational yet—but this is something we are working on.”

Alibaba previously summarized how their coming carbon tracking technology would work. It’s described as a platform to encourage people to adopt low-carbon behaviors and be environmentally accountable, expect to earn 200 carbon credits when you lick your plate clean, and 554 credits if you take the subway. They are developing a model that translates individual activities into carbon credits and builds up a community that promotes a low-carbon lifestyle based on the carbon credits system. According to Alibaba, in China almost 1500 companies and communities use this system. Again, according to Alibaba, they are trying to combine behavioral science with technology to change people’s perceptions and make low carbon fashionable.

Keep in mind the largest dumper of particulates into the atmosphere in the world is China and that country doesn’t care one bit about its carbon footprint. The CCP just want to know what every person is doing, where they are going, what they are saying etc. None of this carbon nonsense applies to China, Russia, or India, only to the Western Countries that must be controlled, and their peoples’ way of life destroyed.

The ideology driving all this is supposedly the science of climate or alarm bells ringing about the climate. I personally believe that is simply an excuse to gain control over every human on earth and bring them under the authority of the counsel of the wise. CO2 emissions have brought about the curtailment of the production of natural gas, but it has no proven links to climate change. We are going to tear apart our world in order to fight something that appears to be no danger at all. Natural gas is also a major ingredient in fertilizer, so the elites have the added benefit of destroying our ability to grow food.

There is no conclusive scientific evidence, that I am aware of, that CO2 emissions are any kind of serious environmental threat, but there is plenty of evidence that higher CO2 concentrations lead to higher crop yields and thus more food. Fossil fuels are necessary and will continue to be whether renewables eventually work or not. We can’t just shut down our world waiting on wind and solar to deliver us. Green energy, so it seems will not be ready for decades if ever.

Now, one last speaker at this year’s Davos Forum named Kjerstin Braathen, CEO of Norwegian Finance and the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund which is one of the world’s largest thanks to selling the North Sea oil. She continued the green theme as follows; “We need to accept that there will be some pain in the process—shortages on energy, inflationary pressures—that pain is actually worth it because if we don’t—there’s no economy, there’s no welfare.”

Well, no Kjerstin, that is not really correct. You see, the world still runs on hot days and cold days, so I recommend you take another look at your elementary logic book. Anyway, the pain is for us ordinary people inflicted on us deliberately by people like her. These people, these high and mighty, these self-proclaimed geniuses, these ruling elite prove that you don’t need a high I.Q. to be filthy rich. They have their vanities, and their fantasies and ordinary people pay for them.

In conclusion, we usually picture a troubled man in the oval office struggling against mighty odds to do the best for his people that he can, at least for his base, but what if there is, in reality, a different scenario. What if all the efforts to bring inflation under control were just a phony ruse. Maybe the FED and Joe Biden are not as incompetent as they appear. I suggest that their real agenda is to let inflation run and build. They think it’s destruction will be worth it because we ordinary people will burn less fuel and eat less food. All those WEF minions in their private jets, and their large yachts, and their exclusive schools know it would be worth it for us ordinary masses. If we could be convinced that saving the planet is a worthwhile goal perhaps, we will be inclined to accept our poverty gracefully.

Finally, folks, the problem with ideology is that it’s true believers are immune to the facts so this will get worse until those making policy for this world are gone for good. Klaus Schwab, another German maniacal, despotic, fascist, totalitarian, bent on world domination, but pretending to be a messiah. Sounds familiar doesn’t it.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.

    FOOD SHORTAGE—INTENTIONAL OR JUST INCOMPETENCE?

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 20th day of May in the year of our Lord 2022 and on this Report, I will once again be talking about food and asking the questions is there a worldwide food shortage or one inevitably coming and if so, is the cause deliberate sabotage of humanity or just the incompetence of the world’s leaders.

I don’t know the future only God knows it for certain, but I can look up at the sky and see the dark clouds rolling in and make a reasonable assumption that rain is coming and soon. The price inflation and empty grocery store shelves are similar in that they tell me that a food shortage is on its way. It is hard to imagine a food shortage any where in the Western World let alone here in America, but when there is a crises like the COVID virus or even a sudden snowstorm, we get a glimpse of empty shelves. Without the panic of a crisis what could cause such a thing?

It seems that there are many causes some of which are war, sanctions, inflation, reactions to COVID, and supply chain disruptions caused by a combination of all those things. Looking at sanctions placed on Russia is to the food supply as the dark clouds are to rain. When we hear the West’s politicians talk sanctions, we know we are going to be hungry. For example, the German Foreign Minister declared recently that sanctions against Russia will only be lifted after a complete withdrawal of all Russian troops from Ukrainian territory. Well now, Foreign Minister, let me think, yes, I remember now that Germans killed about 27 million Russians during WWll and isn’t that enough.  Maybe you should consider sitting this one out, but I guess you must sit at the feet of your master.

Crimea has been a part of Russia for hundreds of years with only a gap between 1991 until 2014. It is Russia’s only Black Sea port and only warm water port and only entry into the Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf. Now, Putin has it with a land bridge to it as well and I seriously doubt that he will give it up while he has thousands of nuclear weapons. What that means is that the sanctions will never be lifted and food problems resulting are obvious. The truth is that the supply chain problems preceded the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but the war has intensified the problems and made them far more intractable.

We in America, for the most part can live with prices and supply as they are now. Even though the shelves are depleted, and the items still there cost a lot more, we can get by so the question is will it get worse? If so, how much worse, and what would that mean for the American people. I’m afraid the answer to will it get worse is yes. Prices for gasoline are over $4.00 per gallon on average nationwide now, however the critical price affecting food is not gasoline but diesel because that is what affects the price and availability of food. The supply system we have in America now is so globalized and so dependent on trucking and rail deliveries that the slightest rise causes problems and increased prices.

Grocery stores have no storage capacity and are therefore dependent on daily deliveries. When the deliveries miss even one day there are shortages and soon nothing. The price of diesel has doubled in the last year and some suppliers report critical shortages both of which have a corresponding effect on food. Large trucking companies and large food distributors are warning that we are on the precipice right now and unless something is quickly done much of the world faces a food disaster.

Russia and Ukraine together produce about 29% of all the wheat exports in the world. They have relatively small populations, and they grow a lot of wheat so much of it can be exported. Yes, you say but now Ukraine produces nothing thanks to the Russian invasion. That is true thanks to the intransigence of the Western leaders who refused to even discuss Russia’s security concerns. Now it is too late as anyone can see. The sanctions are only stopping Russian wheat exports to the West because many other countries which can afford it are buying Russian wheat in rubles in defiance of Western sanctions. Many countries get 70 to 100% of their grains from Russia, Ukraine or both so without those countries exporting they are starving. The U.S. Canada, and Australia grow a lot of wheat, but they also consume a lot of wheat. The other big wheat exporter, India, announced last Tuesday that it would stop exporting wheat and the world market price went up another 6%

The planting season in the northern hemisphere is roughly March and April so it is over for the most part. Nothing was planted in Ukraine to speak of, and Russia’s was reduced. Starting in about October that grain was slated to be delivered to the world and now it won’t be. The countries getting 70 to 100% from Russia and Ukraine constitute roughly 10% of the world’s population so this fall the world will be facing mass starvation. In America our immediate concerns are price and supply, but in much of the world their concern is survival.

Spring planting is also past its crucial time in the U.S. For months farmers have been screaming that they can’t get fertilizer to plant. Much of the minerals to make fertilizer are once again produced in Russia and Ukraine, but in America we can produce enough but then we must deliver it. There are shipping problems with rail delivery that are cause for concern and lead me to consider that this problem might be deliberate in the U.S. The largest supplier of nitrogen fertilizer in the U.S. is CF Industries which also makes a diesel engine additive. The CEO of CF, on April 8, 2022, stated that he was informed by Union Pacific Railroad, with no advance notice, that it was reducing the volume of private cars on its railroad effective immediately.

Union Pacific is one of four railways and the largest, but those four carry 80% of all U.S. agricultural freight. The timing according to CF, could not have come at a worse time for farmers They will have to greatly reduce their planting, and some may not be able to plant at all. Union Pacific with its arbitrary action has chosen to jeopardize the livelihood of farmers and the food supply of the nation. No fertilizer means no crops and by fall 2022 that means no food. It also means no animal grade grains to feed farm animals so by fall more land will have to be dedicated to feeding them. CF has made urgent appeals to the Biden administration but so far there have no actions.

Why can’t the President see this as a pending national disaster which is an obvious national security issue and take action to protect the nation as he has sworn an oath to do. Well, thanks for asking because it turns out that the investment firm Blackrock and the giant firm Vanguard own majority stakes in both CF and Union Pacific. Here is where it gets even weirder folks. The CEO of Blackrock is a World Economic Forum globalist named Larry Fink who is in the frontlines of the great reset and the Green New Deal.

He is the one who said corporations must work harder to “force people to change behaviors”. I suppose we must change our behavior and even starve if it means meeting the great reset deadlines. Fink presides over $10 trillion in assets. He is listed as a member of the WEF board of trustees and one of their top Agenda C0ntributors. He is on the board of directors of the Council on Foreign Relations which many think determines U.S. foreign policy. He also sits on the International Rescue Committee, one of nine private agencies that funnel refugees from destabilized countries all of which are places the U.S. military has been involved. So destabilizing countries, starving people, nice guy, right.

I can hazard a guess at what you must be thinking. This is all madness and lunacy by our own leaders, and it appears they are trying to destroy the nation they took an oath to defend. Concepts like loyalty and fidelity are so 1940’s apparently. At first glance, however the Union Pacific and CF dispute sounds like a private business dispute between private companies until you look at who owns them both. Then you also realize that a rail company on its own, issues new regulations on private use of its railways. Regulations which adversely impact every person in the U.S. The company applies to the Secretary of Agriculture for adjudication of its dispute and then if Secretary Tom Vilsack chooses to act, he applies the concepts contained in the Green New Deal to resolve the dispute after its too late. I’m sure it’s nothing folks nothing to see here so we’ll just move along.

Several globalist organizations and even Joe Biden himself are predicting what they call food shortages in 3 to 6 months. The International Monetary Fund, The Bank of International Settlements, The United Nations the World Economic Forum, and Bank of America, etc. have issued such warnings. They all mention the war in Ukraine as the cause, but they fail to mention the cause they are all guilty of creating; price inflation, or said another way, currency devaluation caused by pumping out trillions of dollars with no production to offset them.

The price of fuel has doubled in a year as we all know, and diesel fuel a little more than that so what did the President do as a mitigating factor? He announced that he would allow a 50% increase in corn-based biodiesel and ethanol fuel mix for at least this summer. Every acre of land dedicated to growing corn for fuel is an acre removed from food production. Biofuels now have about 40% of the corn acreage in the U.S. The U.S. is by far the world’s biggest producer and exporter of corn so taking a large percentage out while fertilizer supplies are skyrocketing in price and deliveries are being allowed to be blocked sure seems like a deliberate act, but maybe this rather simple concept is just lost on him and his entire staff.

The FAO Food Price Index which measures changes in international prices for a basket of food commodities reported that prices were 32.8 percent higher than a year ago. Staples like wheat up 41%, maize 38 percent obviously affect the most people especially those on the margins. The World Health Organization says that some 9 million die each year from hunger-related problems and now thanks to the idiocy across the world the price of food is dramatically rising. The UN reports that the number of people facing a critical lack of food has grown by 60 million over the last two years and now they have raised that to 200 million in this coming year.

In conclusion I’ve spent some time trying to convince you that a food crises exists and is getting worse, but as usual I saved the best for last. Every day, according to the UN, more than 700 million people go to bed without food to eat. Hunger causes malnutrition and that means a short life expectancy, stunted mental development of children, premature death of loved ones, widows, orphans, and childless parents. No one who must care cares and they may even be responsible. The world is changing in fundamental ways we can barely comprehend, and it seems now we are in a war. Not the one in Ukraine, not any of our current disputes, like black against white, man against woman, the psychosexual against normal people, etc. Those disputes are just distractions or disinformation to occupy the minds of the masses. The real war is between the globalist ruling class—the superelite, global corporations, the various alphabet global organizations, against those who want to live a free life.

Finally, folks, the world is run by so called experts and we are constantly told to follow their orders. What do we do when the experts are paid to give the wrong answer? What if the experts, the Western ruling elites have morphed into a parasitic aristocracy looking out for itself at the expense of the rest of humanity?

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

DOES THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION WANT DIRECT WAR WITH RUSSIA?

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. This is Friday the 13th day of May in the year of our Lord 2022. I will be looking at some recent actions of the U.S. in Ukraine which cause me to question whether the Administration is trying to provoke direct war with Russia in place of the proxy war it is now waging with Ukrainian blood and American treasure.

A second name for this Castle Report might be mind your own business. That is a concept that is completely lost on American politicians today because minding our own business is the one thing they will not do. They want to stick our collective fingers in every rattlesnakes nest they find in this world, but do anything to protect our border, not on your life. Will they do anything about rising food and fuel costs, not likely. Reports indicate that food and fuel will cost the average American family an extra $3000 this year, but pay increases are hard to come by. In other words, we are getting poorer each day, but at least Ukraine gets its weapons. How about the coming food shortage that threatens every American, no time for that, but war on the other side of the planet, we can’t wait.

The U.S. seems to be pursuing a course of action in Ukraine which puts it in direct conflict with Russia. By direct I mean outside the obvious proxy war that Washington loves so much. It is a dangerous gamble, but one the administration is obviously willing to make with our lives. Once again, I ask myself if the shoe were on the other foot what would the U.S. do? These proxy wars have been fought between the powers surviving World War ll since that war ended. For example, In Korea the U.N. army led by the U.S. was opposed by Communist China and Russia with direct intervention by China, and proxy intervention by Russia.

Vietnam was similar in that both China and Russia supplied weapons and intelligence to fight the U.S. enemy. It was Russian technology and air defense systems that allowed North Vietnam to shoot down so many U.S. warplanes killing and imprisoning the pilots. That situation should have ended with the fall of the Soviet Union but no, here we are again. This time the situation is reversed with the U.S. supplying the weapons, technology, and intelligence to kill Russians. The question for discussion and the danger point is how close this Administration is coming to direct involvement in the war.

I was a child during Korea, but I read a lot, and I certainly remember Vietnam and what happened during that roughly 15-year struggle. I can’t recall a single instance of Chinese and Russian assistance in killing Americans in which they openly laughed at the U.S. and mocked U.S. leadership. I don’t know if it was respect among enemies or just the fear of confronting a nuclear armed superpower especially in Korea when the U.S. was the only nuclear armed nation. I suspect it was that both sides recognized the wars as struggles between two competing world systems for world domination and therefore nothing personal.

Today, in contrast, the U.S. is openly killing Russians, destroying Russian war materials including capital ships, and then not only laughing, but dancing on the graves of dead Russians. Let me try to explain what I mean by that and why this policy is so dangerous. I wonder what the strategic value is, if any, in the following U.S. actions?

U.S. officials told N.B.C. News that the U.S. did play a role in sinking the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the Moskva, or in English the Moscow. I tried to analyze the sinking before the U.S. not only admitted to it but bragged about it, and I could not make sense of it. Given that the Moskva was specifically designed for anti-air defense and was more than 100 miles offshore, I just could not see any way the Ukrainians could have done it. The missiles used were subsonic and old technology and should have been easy prey for the Moskva’s anti-missile defense system, but apparently the ship’s radar system was confused by a large influx of armed drones which appeared to be attacking at the same time.

The U.S. officials said the Ukrainians asked them about a ship in the Black Sea and were told by U.S. intelligence it was the Moskva and then the Ukrainians targeted the ship. The U.S. was not involved in the decision to strike. Yeah right, I know the intelligence was only shared to help Ukraine defend itself from attack by Russian ships, but If I don’t believe it, I doubt if Putin believes it. So, what is the danger here? The danger again is escalation of a small regional conflict into a full-blown war. Why, because I doubt whether Putin will be able to let this pass. The U.S., best case, assisted in sinking his flagship and that demands retaliation. Time will tell if it comes, and if so, in what form.

It seems that “senior American officials” just can’t act like they’ve been there before as Coach Bear Bryant used to tell his players when they got to the end zone. These U.S. officials just can’t seem to resist dancing in the end zone. Russian assistance killed a lot of U.S. flyers in Vietnam, but I don’t recall any end zone dances in public view. If the Moskva were all it would be enough, but there’s more.

At least 12 Russian generals that we know of have died in the war and they were targeted by U.S. intelligence for the Ukrainians. Twelve generals killed in action in less than three months is astonishing so one must admit that the U.S. ability to locate anyone anytime is amazing. According to reports from NBC News, the New York Times, and others, this targeting help is part of a classified effort by the Biden Administration to provide real-time battlefield intelligence to Ukraine.

That intelligence includes Russian troop movements and obviously the ranks and identities of the officers leading those movements. That data, along with the new U.S. supplied 175MM howitzers allows the Ukrainians to put massive artillery shells on pinpoint locations. This level of intelligence has few if any precedents in the history of warfare. The U.S. intelligence capability along with billions of dollars of the most advanced weaponry has bolstered the Ukrainian army to the point where it reportedly has more functional tanks than the Russians.

Targeting the Russian high command is another escalation along with the Moskva and if Putin doesn’t do something about it my guess is that he risks being deposed. He is smart enough to understand that, but although the Americans would dance on his grave, his replacement would undoubtably be worse. This is so bad that even Thomas Friedman of the New York Times is scratching his head and wondering why. How does this public disclosure, this bragging help the U.S. in any way?

Friedman quoted Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin when Austin said that we want to weaken Russia then he went on to say this. “Please tell me this statement was a result of a National Security Council meeting led by the president. And that they decided after carefully weighing all the second-and third-order consequences, that it is in our interest and within our power to so badly degrade Russia’s military that it will not be able to project power again—soon? Ever? not clear—and that we can do that without risking a nuclear response from a humiliated Putin.

Have no doubts: I hope this war ends with Russia’s military sharply degraded and Putin out of power. I’d just never say so publicly if I were in leadership, because it buys you nothing and can potentially cost you a lot. There has been way too much of this from the Biden team, and the messes have required too much mopping up.”

Yes Thomas, you would not say it publicly because even though you are a Democrat, you are apparently sane. Insane people say things like this administration has said publicly because it is in effect a dare to Putin. I dare you to do something in retaliation like attack a NATO target. The result of that dare if called, would most likely get the U.S. directly into war with Russia. Could that be the actual desire of those running the Biden administration? I hope and I pray that these people are just lunatics, not homicidal lunatics.

Most of the reports I read from the U.S. and European sources say that the likelihood that Ukraine can defeat Russia and win the war is increasing. That belief probably prevents the U.S. from demanding or even seeking a diplomatic solution. War planners are willing to flirt with Armageddon to achieve their goal of a new American century and the Great Reset, it seems. It concerns me that U.S. officials have that smug smile on their faces that would make anyone want to slap it off, let alone Vladimir Putin. Even the Council on Foreign Relations has spoken on behalf of the U.S. providing every weapon, every piece of intelligence it takes for Ukraine to win. Max Boot, Mr. Neocon himself, speaks in his CFR article about inflicting a humiliating defeat on Russia. I wonder if the CFR endorsement of U.S. policy answers any questions about U.S. policy. Max Boot considers Putin’s repeated threats about tactical nuclear weapons to be bluffing.

Again, I wonder if this administration, perhaps following the guidance or encouragement of the CFR, and other global organizations, wants to provoke Russia into a retaliation in which all bets would be off and a full NATO response could be justified.  I’m afraid that the U.S. is developing a carefree attitude because of Putin’s lack of response thus far. Ukraine is getting stronger with better equipment arriving daily. Russia appears to be getting weaker and more depleted each day. I just wonder if this wounded bear is still very dangerous.

Putin has been maimed and weakened. His military has been exposed, at least to this point, as second rate, but why taunt him. It violates Sun Zu’s rules of war to do so. Sun Zu said that when your enemy is weak and defeated offer him a golden bridge over which he can retreat. Right now, Putin and Russian pride has been wounded before the whole world. Putin reportedly has cancer and will need an operation that will reportedly keep him out of power for about three days. His appointed interim is a notorious hardliner from Russian intelligence. Right now, I submit, would be a good time to seek a diplomatic solution.

The chances of a devastating and humiliating Russian defeat are growing stronger and at the same time American officials are bragging that they are largely responsible for it. There are ominous signs coming from Moscow that would give anyone other than Joe Biden pause to stop and think. Russian news reports are quite different from those we are exposed to here in the U.S. Russian hardliners, especially military veterans are demanding that Putin quit showing restraint and deal their enemy a blow that will wipe that smug smile I alluded to, off their faces. Has he shown restraint? Who can say, but they certainly think so?

Don’t give in to Putin’s nuclear blackmail the hawks say, but they don’t seem to realize that Ukraine is vitally important to Russia’s security. I doubt if Putin will give up his land bridge to Crimea, and certainly not Crimea itself. The possibility of a catastrophic defeat of a great power, a heavily nuclear armed great power, and the consequences of that doesn’t seem to occur to the hawks. I just don’t see Russians losing their Black Sea Fleet and their army in Ukraine and just shrugging it off. The risks that U.S. officials are taking are careless, and gamble not their lives but ours.

In conclusion, President Biden asked congress for 33 billion more dollars of debt to aid Ukraine, but congress said no, 40 billion would be better. More than half of that in weapons and the rest in various boondoggles including 900 million for aid to Ukrainian refugees in the U.S. The vote was 368 for and 57 against. The U.S. is currently 31 trillion in debt that is admitted and on the books. That 40 billion is about $125 for every man, woman, and child in the U.S. and since only about 50% now pay income tax that is about $250 for each of them.

Finally, folks, this is absolute madness and lunacy. Are the people who voted for this 40 billion lunatics or are they motivated by profit because after all most of the money goes right in the pocket of U.S. weapons manufacturers. Perhaps they are neither and simply obey the commands of higher authority. My best guess is that most are a combination of all three.

At least that’s the way I see it,

    Until next time folks,

    This is Darrell Castle,

    Thanks for listening.
