It seems quite fitting that this week's topic, an anime about gambling, was chosen on a whim. Face-contortion with high stakes could definitely been an alternate title, and seems to be the name of game as the podcast casts the die on studio MAPPA's Kakegurui.

Before going on a brief hiatus we recorded a quick podcast were we announce future plans and discuss everything we couldn't fit in a regular episode. Weekly episodes of Darling will be back for episode 13.

Episode 10 and watcher’s fatigue is rapidly setting in. What is probably supposed to be an episode with shock value feels more like A-1/Trigger’s overly convoluted way of saying “we don’t understand pacing”. This show needs to seriously pick up pace to not end up as the innuendo collab show that failed.

The klaxosaurs seems to be back just as Daddy's brought presents. Ichigo and goro seem to have some personal issues to work trough. Is this turning into a couples'-reconciliation-of the-week kinda show?

A slight tweak in audio ruins our 50 minute recording of Mob Psycho 100. Audio peaks all over the place resulting in a horrifyingly bad episode that will most likely kill your ears. We can mark this down as a failed experiment.

The 8th episode of Darling is a complete dumpster fire. Memes aside, the last two episodes have been somewhat mediocre and highlights the obvious flaw of this weekly format. Hopefully the pace picks back up again shortly and we can have something meaningful to discuss.

At six episodes of Darling in the FranXX and the weekly viewing fatigue is slowly setting in. To the series credit we are served the most action-packed and straight forward episode to date, but somehow we still “lose our way” and mess up the chronology.

We apologize in advance, but I don't think we had anything original to say about Makoto Shinkai's blatantly moist foot fetish film. A subpar episode on our part and we hope to do better in future :3
