Bad craziness is on full display as Lustkill join us in the studio for this week’s show. What makes kolache so awesome? This week on the show, we get the answer. Doug Sauer, co-owner of Columbus eatery Kolache Republic and bartender at the High Beck Tavern, joins us in the studio. He dishes on the origins of the eatery, how Sean Eden of Luna wound up playing Doug’s Gibson ES 335 guitar, his short stint touring with Aether, and why their Thanksgiving kolache sells out every year. You’ll also hear music from the bands that had a profound effect on him throughout his life and so much more.

Calling themselves The 1984 Draft garners a certain level of curiosity, for sure. Make no mistake, their music is full of rock riffs and cerebral, at the same time.

“Emo” is a terribly misconstrued, and often misused term to incorrectly describe so-called “depressing” music. This week’s guest on the show, Saltlick, are not an “emo” band. Rather, they have a sound that is more accurately described as “lo-fi apathetic rock” in the vein of Ohio’s own Guided By Voices.

On this all-new episode, three-fifths of the Columbus pop-punk merry pranksters We Are The Movies join us in the studio to premiere four new songs from their forthcoming EP “…Or Get Busy Dying.”
