This week, Columbus’ Mojo Theory brings their brand of funk/rock/soul-infused blues into the studio, and premiere two new tracks from their upcoming fourth album.

Is there a doctor in the house? This week, we are honored to have Dr. Nicole Richter, founder, lead singer and brains behind Electro-Dark Dance band Curse of Cassandra. Nicole and show host Rick discuss her absolute love of cats and the mysticism surrounding our feline goddesses. As we roll into summer and the good vibes that the season entails, Holly Olsen and Jason Byrd, better known as Holly and The Byrd, join us in the studio. They are also members of The Pink Flamingos and Bosswood, and you will hear music from all three bands on the show. You will hear how they met, as well as get the backstory on their music. They talk about some of the different musicians they have collaborated with and have many a laugh with the shows host, Rick.

Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the countrys armed forces. It should be a day of thought and reflection by all of us. As such, we wanted to give you a different take on what many would consider a traditional playlist of songs. We asked myriad people to give us songs by local bands/musicians that evoke the image of what Memorial Day means to them. The responses were wide-ranging, from melancholy to upbeat. But, the common thread running through all 10 songs is a feeling that is unique to the individual.

David Stone, Geoff Spall, Brandyn Morit and Bobby Metzger, better known as Victory Lapse, are flying under the radar in the local music scene. We have a feeling they are destined for bigger things. The wine, beer and tequila they brought with them made this a show teetering on the brink of going off the rails at any moment. You will hear the inside stories of their eponymous debut EP, how instrumental Jon Fintel at Relay Recording was in producing their initial offering, as well as Stone professing his love for sombreros.

This week, we are honored to have local singer-songwriter and social activist Brian Clash join us in the studio. You will hear why he is so active about social injustice locally, the artists that have influenced him over the years to write protest songs, as well as hear a few tracks from his music career.
