Diane Richardson is the new head women’s basketball coach at Temple University. She takes over the Owls after an impressive five-year run at the helm of the program at Towson University, where she led the Tigers to their first-ever NCAA Tournament in 2019.

In Episode #133 of “1-on-1 with Matt Leon,” Matt speaks with Richardson about why the Temple job was right for her. They also discuss Richardson’s unique path to coaching and her success as an athlete, which included a spot on an Olympic team.
