In part 1 of a mini series I meet with Dr. Nicole Srednicki. Nicole is a doctor and entrepreneur who is trying to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western medicine. Her practice is mainly for high energy, high functioning clients who need to be on top of their game every day and take their health very seriously as they know that is the backbone to them being at the top performance level in all aspects of their lives.
I got to meet with Dr. Srednicki at The Modern Day Wife event which was held at the beautiful W Hotel in Scottsdale. Nicole is a local who loves to exercise and hang out with her puppy; but tune in and get the full scoop from the good doctor herself.
Meet Janene, she grew up in small-town Iowa, with few examples of female entrepreneurs to look up to. She started her career by following the set path, earning her associate's Degree in Business Management before accepting a management role within the Chick-Fil-A franchise. She quickly fell in love with business development and dreamed of someday opening her own store. She is married to her husband Nate and together they co-own two businesses in the transportation industry. Janene keeps it real when it comes to parenting and running businesses. She recognizes that you cannot do it alone, it's okay to ask for help and sometimes being a mom is more important than cleaning the house.
This week I got to chat with entrepreneur Inbal. She is currently running two businesses and still being a mom to not one but two littles! Like-Minded Collective, her newest endeavour is a place for like-minded businesswomen to get together, learn, chat, collaborate and most of all support each other. We talk about the challenges of the tech world and developing something from scratch, investing in yourself and how it is important to never to give up.

Meet Jenny, the mom behind Career Mom Podcast. If you are like me, I had the misconception that it was just about mothers in the workplace, but upon talking to Jenny it is really about a woman's identity after she becomes a mother and making it work with who she was before. Jenny recognizes that it is ok for that identity to change and that it can also change again as the years go on. There is no right answer to how women get back into the workforce once they become mothers, but there is also room for improvement in the options that are available.
Join Jenny and I as we discuss this identity, issues around FMLA and her support for different groups that are working on better maternal care, leaves and return to work situations for women in America.
Meet this week's guest Khalifa! Khalifa is the mom behind @happy_singlemompodcast where she is doing her best to show you can be a single parent, have everything you want and enjoy it.

Tune in to listen to the many benefits of networking, the struggles behind balancing it all and of course the benefits that Carolina finds in her self-care routine!
Meet Emily, Author and Mom behind Body Positive: A Guide to Loving Your Body. One of the most down-to-earth moms I have had the chance to chat with. Emily keeps it real and recognizes that it isn't about 100% all the time as parents; it's about doing the best you can, letting our kids live and encouraging them to make healthy decisions for themselves and leading by example. Body image struggles are something that most young girls struggle with, and it is getting younger every day. Listen in as Emily gives you some of the tips from her book and her own parenting experience to help our girls see that their worth doesn't lie in how they look in the mirror or a number on the scale.
