Meet Julia! Julia started out on her path to becoming a doctor but life had other plans for her. It wasn't a waste though as Julia has used what she learned and her passion for helping others to start what I think is one of the most innovative platforms for healthcare providers. Treehouse is a way to connect with your team of healthcare providers, instead of waiting forever for that appointment. Right now the providers are for maternal care, speech-language and doulas. I know I am excited to see where Treehouse goes, as a fellow Canadian I think this service is just what the doctor ordered.

Meet Emylee! This mom has a way of looking at depression and removing the stigma. She recognizes that we don't just sit around and cry when we are depressed but have a whole host of emotions and ways to show it. She has made it her mission along with her own diagnosis to coach and help those that are dealing with depression. One conversation with this woman and I feel like I have a different understanding of my own mental state and what I once labelled as stress may be stemming from something else. Meet Luciana, Mom of 4, personal trainer and health coach and IFBB Pro Cardholder. Luciana is a US Navy veteran who used her discipline to continue on in her health journey after having her children. Unlike other trainer's Luciana knows what it is like to be overweight and have to work really hard to get it off. This is what makes her different than some others; she focuses on the whole person and not just the number on the scale.
