1986 was on track to be a stellar year for musician Ricky Goddard. But before January's end, the Goddards' dreams were shattered when Ricky was found murdered in the family home. When Dr. Kellogg stole the Battle Creek Sanitarium out from under Mother White and the Seventh Day Adventist Church, the scorned prophet swore there would be hell to pay. Soon after, hell on earth visited Battle Creek in the form of a series of suspicious fires known as "The West End Fires." Buildings burned, fortunes were lost, and a war was waged as the body count piled up.
