Thanks for joining the Big 60 party. On this episode, the crew runs down this week’s new music (17:05) including Pop Smoke, Trippie Redd, Benny The Butcher, Russ, KSI and others! T-Pain has a message for new artists that lack their own creative formula (39:30). Lil Durk & India Love were the target of a home invasion in Atlanta. They made it out alive and well, and were able to fend off the perpetrators amidst gunfire. Relationship goals? Let's hope not (44:32)...Power Book III: Raising Kanan, executively produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has now been released (47:18), will you be watching? Have you watched the previous renditions of the “Power” franchise?

On this episode, the crew runs down on this week’s new music (03:56) including Post Malone, Vince Staples, and some others! There was a big all-white Hampton July 4th party that seemed to be the catalyst of commotion, including a verbal altercation between Travis Scott and Meek Mill (19:20) as well as some breakdancing from Lil Uzi Vert as he was fresh off a tussle with SAINt JHN (22:25). Lil Baby and James Harden took a trip to Paris this week, forgetting that France isn’t a country that takes possession of marijuana lightly (30:08)...

Welcome back to yet another episode of The Certified Platinum Show. With a week of lackluster emotions, we are here yet again to report this week in the culture…

T-Pain recalls a story in which Usher tells him that he single-handedly ruined music for real singers… This is quite a large claim to make, especially from an artist that arguably tried to use autotune himself… The crew talks about this story that T-Pain shared, whether it was true or not, and lastly whether it was justified on Usher’s part or just insensitivity…(07:37)

DaBaby tweeted that he is in need of a Jay-Z verse… Such a simple and harmless tweet, yet it sent sparks of emotion through the studio LOL…(14:14)

It seems like Lil Uzi Vert took a trip to the west, as he was spotted riding tractors and 4x4s on a farm with Kidd G on a new track called “Teenage Dream 2”. Quite an unexpected feature by Lil Uzi Vert, but also not so surprising as well…(32:54)

Well look who just couldn’t keep away ;) Welcome back to another episode of The Certified Platinum Show. In this episode, the crew covers the annual XXL Freshmen list. Although this year's list includes a diverse group of emcees, the crew still finds themselves having the age-old conversation...Did XXL miss the mark? (09:10)

Congratulations are in order for the late Nipsey Hussle, DJ Khaled, Avril Lavigne and others who have recently received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! (12:05)

As the birthday of the late entertainer Tupac Shakur approached this week, Jada Pinkett Smith (who publicly dated 2Pac in the 1980s) released some public poems that 2Pac, who would have been 50 years old this year, wrote to her. The crew convenes on the matter that they were definitely not asked about, and talks about the statutes of limitation on a deceased lover, and how the interactions may affect a new partner… (20:01)

BACK AT IT with another episode of The Certified Platinum Show. As we ramp up to show you guys some exciting news, we thank you for your continued listenership! We are ecstatic to show you what we’ve been working on, coming up soon… ;)

It looks like the fighting world, boxing in particular, is experiencing an unusual amount of attention that may be to it’s benefit or it’s detriment...It looks like throwing two completely unqualified fighters into a ring to fight for PPV percentages seems to be the latest trend. This week, the crew gives their thoughts on the “Team YouTube” vs. “Team TikTok” fights…(06:36)

MIGO! The Migos dropped the long awaited album, Culture III, showing that indeed Nothing Is Stronger Than Family. Of course there were bars, of course there were subliminals, and of course there was some straightenin’ involved! Check out the conversation…(14:44)

Back with another week of The Certified Platinum Show! Thanks for joining us for another dope week!

Spotify and the folks over at RapCaviar set the Hip Hop community into a frenzy this week, as they introduced “their” version of the Hip Hop Mount Rushmore for the decade (2010-2020). There are 3 undisputed names, while the 4th name was up for question. While some agreed with the chosen 4th name, some also strongly disagreed. Listen for the crew’s thoughts on this mystery 4th name…(04:03)

Brian (B. Dot) Miller was on Maino’s show, where the two got into a verbal altercation about whether “well known music journalists should be transparent with how they feel about their friend’s work when they might not like the art…” The gang dove into the question and hand, and took a moment to decide the ‘best’ way to tell your friend their art is NOT IT…(11:40)

The Game hopped on Instagram Live and divulged about a conversation he had with Top Dawg (aka Anthony Tiffith) where he revealed that some long awaited Kendrick Lamar music may be on the horizon. Check out the audio clip!...(22:53)
