The Bible is an absolute standard. It is not relative or subjective to the situation. There are two ways to live your life: You can live it according to the absolute standard of the Bible or some alternative way of thinking, rationalizing, and perceiving what truth is and what is fiction. “The Word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and the spirit, and of the joints and the marrow, and is a critic of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12) “Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 2:5) “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
