On this week's episode, I walk you through my personal experiences while dating with generalized anxiety disorder and depression. It's already challenging enough to navigate modern dating with apps, text messages, and social media playing a huge part in how people meet and communicate.
I share how becoming aware of what brings on feelings of anxiety has improved my approach to my attachment style and navigating making better choices to lessen the feelings of anxiety taking over my life. I finish today's episode with you how my break up happened and what I've been going through since my relationship ended.

On this week's episode of the podcast, I am joined by Christine Hernandez, who's mission in this world is to help people live bold in their relationships, bodies, businesses, and in life. She has found this is only possible if we addressed the pain conflict and challenge head-on paired with extreme grace and love.
She has been called the queen of conflict and she loves to help others embrace conflict because the result can be life changing. Christina is the owner of Revenue tribe, a local Denver business, where she stops at nothing to help clients succeed.
Christine is on a mission to show people that anything is possible and that they can transform undesirable challenges into powerful opportunities. Throughout Christine's life, she has turned the seemingly impossible into the possible by shifting her mindset, including overcoming a terminal brain condition called chiari malformation.
It was during this time that she courageously decided to choose her life over her diagnosis and was able to fully heal from the condition.

On today's episode, we go far beyond just sex and intimacy and we view it from the lens of the Enneagram and the type 8, Challenger, personality type.
Like me, Jamie is an 8 and has a social subtype versus my sexual subtype, which gives us a clear distinction of who we are and how we show up in the world. I truly enjoyed today's conversation, as she was a wonderful mirror for me to take a look at my own "stuff" that comes up in relationships.
Samantha Joy joins me on the podcast this week as an Enneagram type 7, and author of the book The Less Effect: Design Your Life for Happiness and Purpose. Her mission is to educate people on how to step into their authentic self by letting go of items in your physical, social, and habitual environments.
On today's episode, we dig deep into how she was possibly mistyped as a type to the helper for years and years and years before she finally uncovered that she was an Enthusiast on the Enneagram personality testing system. We talked a lot about parenting and her career in upper level management in the financial industry before she set out on her own.
Samantha is running a program right now based on how she went from food stamps to six figures in nine months.
If you enjoyed today's conversation, please share it with one person. And while you're at it, leave us a five star rating and a written review on iTunes or Spotify. That really helps us get the message of the podcast out to more people.

Libby Cole, owner of Expand Coaching and Consulting and an Enneagram 8w7, joins me on the podcast to talk about her experience as The Challenger personality type. She has learned through her life and business experience that Challengers who are women are often times the most misunderstood Enneagram type.
Libby wants to set the record straight that female 8s can be soft, influential, and great leaders all at the same time! I couldn’t agree more that she shows up with empathy, sensitivity, and a lot of fire for her mission in life.
Libby’s background professionally was mostly higher education before taking the leap to become a business owner and empowering herself to lead others through Enneagram coaching.
Libby believes that misunderstanding and miscommunication is what holds people back in relationships. In her words, “When people begin to learn more about themselves, they can also be more understanding of others. This is a beautiful outcome of learning the Enneagram, the awareness that there are 8 other ways of approaching something. It can also give you permission to step into your true, authentic self without apology.”

On this week's episode of The Challenger Podcast, we welcome Jordan Pendleton an "Observer", type 5, on the Enneagram.
When I feel a lot of stress, I resemble the tendencies of a five a lot! Especially when she said, "5s have a lot of thoughts about their feelings." We also discuss numbing out with all kinds of vices, having a scarcity mindset, and how we each deal with grief.
This was a timely conversation for us, as we had just seen each other at a memorial service for a friend, giving us the chance to process our grief and sadness. So many amazing nuggets of wisdom from Jordan in today's episode, digging into the amazing attributes of the type 5, also known as the Investigator or Observer.

On this week's episode, we welcome back Robert Wunderlich, professor and black belt at The Academy of Jiu-Jitsu in Arvada, Co. We reconnected after last years interview because he was kind enough to walk me through a plateau in my Jiu-Jitsu journey recently.
We dig deep into how plateaus in fitness, Jiu-Jitsu, and personal growth can be beneficial for us in the long run, encouraging us to process all that comes up for us and to allow the subconscious mind to "play catch-up". Robert and I connect on a deeper level through my competition experience and how the body holds onto trauma which can be released by new trauma; for example, a car accident.

On this week’s podcast episode, my guest is Perri Chase, a powerhouse, badass, and challenger on the enneagram, like me! We do not hold back and one of the things I appreciated most about our conversation is that she…
Challenged me. Yep, you read that right. I get pumped up for a good challenge and this interview does not disappoint! We talk about everything. And I do mean everything; from triggers and alchemizing them on down to “is my enneagram type me? or is it my ego showing up?”
We close out the episode talking about d!ck pics and that’s a first time topic on the podcast… don’t miss it! If you’d like to connect deeper with Perri, please check out her upcoming program Slay at perrichase.com/slay or find her on Instagram @perri.chase

On today's episode, I discuss how the challenger personality type becomes solidified within us and often times, that is as a result of an instance of trauma or repeated trauma in our formative years. I alert you with a heads up at the time during the episode where you may want to fast forward. We will dive deep into the enneagram, attachment styles, and self-leadership to learn more about what our anger is trying to teach us throughout the episode and it will be confronting, I promise.
The challenger personality type on the Enneagram reacts first with anger, as do the 9 and the 1, as they are part of the body feeling triad. Over the past few years, it has been part of my journey to get in touch with that anger to understand more clearly what is lying beneath it. I also answer our audience members' questions of how to recognize and display a clean version of our anger so that we can form deeper and more intimate relationships without blowing our lids!
