In this episode, Rod and Lesley dive into the importance of having close friends to talk to - at work.  To drive home the point, they use the popular Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso as their case study.  Rod starts by stating his theory, that the TV show eerily mirror this Podcast.  Ted Lasso started in August 2020, the Change Room Podcast started recording in August 2020 (with first airing in October).  Story lines and topics parallel on the way so highlight just how we care about the same themes.  

In the end, this episode is also Rod and Lesley's love letter of appreciation for Ted Lasso, and all the good it conveyed, especially the importance of having trusted friends that you can talk to when you need to get out of your own head.

In this episode, Rod and Lesley go way back.  They go to what could the origin story question 'can we change?' and reach back a 100 years to Carl Jung for help in answering the question.  This topic was inspired from a book Rod is reading now called "Midlife : humanity's secret weapon" by Andrew Jamieson.
