Charlie starts the first hour with some history lessons and abruptly gets into the much-maligned Rockets. Charlie lets us know that is a bare sports weekend with the choices of college football and the Rockets playing down to their competition. He goes into the surprisingly watchable Thursday Night game because of Derrick Henry’s prowess. Charlie announces the college football end of year awards.

Charlie starts the final hour dissecting the Rockets and the road ahead. Charlie touches on the Army vs. Navy game and then transitions into the Texans and their road to the number 2 seed. MLB Columnist Richard Justice joins the show to discuss the state of the off season Astros. He talks about recent college football coaching moves, the Rockets next opponent, and The Texans with their 1st place showdown with the Colts.

The Charlie Pallilo show starts the first hour with Del and Nick filling for Charlie as he is on vacation. They guys start about the Washington Wizards and the lack of support with great players. Del asks the question if he gives you money to go to Lids what Houston sports team would you buy? With all the base ball moves what is happening with the Astros acquisitions? The guys trip into the subject about Houston universities and their infrastructure. They discuss the Houston sports teams and other cities and their color schemes. The guys talk about the college basketball one and done with the major universities.

In for Charlie, Del and Nick start the final hour with Shout outs and a weird discussion about lotion and germs. Del goes into a story of a bacon dispensary. They go into a 49’ers story about a player and his better half with claims of abuse and recant. Del announces the Rockets’ game vs. Jazz, and then asks how bad do the tv choices have to be to watch Titans vs. Jaguars?

Charlie is out on vacation today and tomorrow so Del and Nick step in to host the show, opening with a segment carried over from the last show about how bobcats can use toilets! Then the guys discuss whether or not the Rockets can revive their season after blowing the game against the Timberwolves. The conversation turns to Kyler Murray’s indecision about his pro sports future. To close out the first hour they talk about George H. W. Bush’s funeral and other former presidents.

At the top of the second hour the guys talk about the XFL and get a lot of call-ins about how the teams can be successful and who they should recruit to play. They look at how the XFL could use former star players to become the face of the league to bring in larger crowds. To finish up they discuss issues that have come up with NFL referee Roy Ellison.

To kick off another day on the show, Charlie breaks down the Rockets humiliating loss to the Timberwolves last night in which they managed to score only 29 points in the second half. As the hour rolls on, he discusses some potential moves for the Astros to maximize their championship window before he returns to the Rockets struggles. To round out the hour, he touches on the Monday Night game between the Eagles and Redskins.

To start the second hour of the show, Charlie talks about the latest news coming out about Kareem Hunt’s transgressions as a new video from a different incident has come to light. After the opening segment, he discusses the ageless excellence of Adrian Peterson and the race for the second wildcard in the AFC. He finishes the show by quickly hitting on a variety of topics, including the decision to award Seattle the 32nd NHL franchise.

Charlie starts the first hour looking at the Texans win over the Browns to extend their streak to 9, and where they will likely end up in playoff seeding based on the potential results of the other teams in the hunt for a bye in the AFC. Charlie also revisits some of the narrative about what kind of coach Bill O’Brien is considering the ups and downs of this season. Patrick Mahomes has hit 41 touchdown passes and is on pace to match or break Peyton Manning’s TD record, but could the lack of Kareem Hunt slow the prolific signal caller down? And the Cougars beat Oregon on the opening night of the Fertita center in what is the best way to celebrate the opening of a new arena. And Alabama will be playing Oklahoma in Arlington, only 3 hours away from Norman in what appears to be a lopsided geographic advantage for the Sooners in the Orange Bowl.

Charlie starts the second hour discussing the Texans 9 game win streak and looks ahead to the last few opponents the Texans have to close out their season. Charlie then pivots into the Mike McCarthy firing and whether or not it was justified to fire the Super Bowl winning coach in the middle of the season. The Alabama game had some interesting twists and turns as Jalen Hurts came off the bench to win the game for the Crimson Tide after having been benched for a QB that up until this game had been a Heisman contender. Charlie goes over some of the other bowl games coming up and which he would be interested in watching. And to wrap up the show Charlie touches on the Texans chances at a real playoff run and JJ Watt’s chances at the comeback player of the year award considering his statistically astounding season given his recent injury history.
