In the first hour Charlie discusses the Texans and Panthers game and how the team performed compared to his expectations. He discusses the play from Davis Mills and the coaching of David Culley. Charlie then switches the conversation to the Astros and the AL wild card and playoff picture. 

Charlie opens the second hour talking about some college football before returning the conversation to the Astros. He discusses the Astros magic number and when we could see them clinch the AL West. At the bottom of the hour he talks more Texans before wrapping up the second hour breaking down the Astros loss to the Angels and how it affects the rest of their season. 

Astros beat the Angels in dramatic fashion and Charlie recaps the Astros extra inning win. Andre Johnson is eligible for the Hall of Fame. What was his most memorable play as Texans. Charlie provides his example. Texans won't be opening the roof for Thursday Night Football and Charlie isn't thrilled

Phil Steele joins Charlie for his weekly appearance. Despite their offensive struggles Phil likes the Aggies to beat Arkansas. The longtime college football expert gives his thoughts on the slate of games involving the other Texas teams as well.

In the first hour of the show Charlie discusses the Astros 10-5 win over the Angels and breaks down the Astros magic number and when they can clinch the division. At the bottom of the hour Charlie previews the Texans Thursday night game against the Carolina Panthers. He wraps up the first hour previewing the SEC football schedule in 2022. 

In the second hour of the show Charlie is joined by Carolina Panthers beat writer, Johnathan Alexander to discuss the upcoming game between the Panthers and Texans and what they expect to see from both teams. At the bottom of the hour Charlie goes around the MLB and breaks down some of the big storylines from around the league. 

Second half of the show Charlie continues his discussion on the Astros and talks playoff standings in the American League. He moves on to talk Texans and discuss their uncertain future this season with question like "Could Davis Mills upset the Panthers Thursday night?" To end out the show CP talks about the Manning brothers telecast on MNF. 

In hour one Charlie begins with the Astros blow out win against the Angels and the Astros season up to this point. Then he moves on and discusses Ryan Clark's comments claiming Aaron Rodgers is the "best" QB he's gone against. Towards the end of hour 1 Charlie talks about the Texans quarterback discussion with Tyrod being out for weeks to come. 

Charlie recaps Week 2 of the NFL season including the Texans falling to the Browns on the road in Cleveland. He also dives into the Astros winning their weekend series against the Arizona Diamondbacks before ending the hour by talking college football.
