The back half of the show starts with Charlie ranking the remaining unbeaten teams in the NFL. He also dissects the Texans' Deshaun Watson situation, reflects on the Alabama/Florida matchup and evaluates the calls of game-winning field goals from Sunday's NFL action, including the Vikings broadcast faux pas.

Astros take the final game of their four-game series against the Rangers. Carlos Correa hits a HR which leads to Charlie talking about Correa's future. Charlie then talks to Browns beat writer Scott Petrak as the Texans look to go 2-0 with a big upset of the Browns.

What is more likely? The Astros going 14-2 to win 100 games or the Texans starting 2-0 by beating the Browns. Charlie poses that question. He gets a prize package from the University of Houston which leads to a discussion about what moving to the Big 12 means for the Cougars and their home crowds.

Astros get back on track and take down the Rangers. Charlie has a surprising choice as the Astros best hitter and tells us his ideal matchup for the Astros in the postseason. With the Oklahoma-Nebraska game on the schedule for Week 3 some other traditional college football rivalries get the spotlight 

Phil Steele is back for his weekly hit with Charlie and he gives his picks for Week 3 of the college football season. Alabama vs Florida and Auburn traveling to Penn State highlight the weekend's slate while Phil doesn't think Nebraska will challenge Oklahoma at all

In the first hour Charlie discusses the Astros 8-1 loss against the Rangers, the AL playoff picture and the Astros projected playoff pitching rotation. He continues the Astros conversation talking about the teams continued struggles against below .500 teams, Zack Greinke's outing and his struggling season with the team. At the bottom of the hour Charlie discusses the Rockets and what they should do with John Wall after they agreed to mutually part ways.

In the second hour of the show Charlie discusses the road to the world series for the Astros, who he sees them playing in the ALDS and who he would rather see them play in the ALCS. Charlie also discusses Roberto Clemente day around the MLB before wrapping up the second hour.

Charlie opens the show with the Astros win over the Rangers and Jose Siri's big night in his first ever start. A big night in Vegas as the Raiders beat the Ravens but Charlie took issue with Jon Gruden's overtime strategy. USC fires Clay Helton two games in the season and it did not sit well with FORMER USC fan Charlie Pallilo.

The second hour of the show starts with a rundown of where the playoff races stand in baseball. Is it Alabama and everybody else? Charlie and Del discuss the disparity between the Crimson Tide and everyone else in the sport. We finish the show with highlights of the Astros rout of the Rangers.

Charlie begins the final hour talking about some of the headlines from around the NFL, then shifting gears to the MLB and finishing up with some college football.
