Ginny Tonic and Charlie are settling into the Christmas season as they partake in a discussion of Christmas parties sharing a few stories, recent and past. Ginny also discusses the surprising redesign of the traditional hoodie. Charlie discovers a new band during a night out on the town. All this and the playful innuendo is back in full swing this week. This past weekend we traveled to Madison, WI for TelsaCon 3: A Trip To The Moon. This immersive steampunk convention was a blast and the room parties were even more fun. Join us this week for your celebratory 50th episode as we look back on the show and take you inside two of the gatherings for an almost all drink segment show. For one party we had people lining up to give us drinks and the closed door of our room spawned rumors thoughtout the show. In our second drink segment a bit of bubbly celebrates our 50th. Ginny Tonic and Charlie return! This week, after catching up on current events, the dynamic duo kick off the segments asking each other what they wanted to be when they grew up. After a few stories, they end up on a discussion covering no less than the meaning of life. From there they find a comfy seat in the library and offer you a mix of book recommendations for the holidays. For this week's Bottoms Up segment, Charlie dons a blindfold as he takes on a four martini challenge. Where else are you going to see that kind of combination other than the Charlie Tonic Hour? Answer... nowhere. A nice cover song closes out the show as we look ahead to next week's 50th episode! 

It's Thanksgiving and the holiday season is raging toward us with a flaming debit card in hand. This has Charlie and Ginny Tonic thinking about consumerism, tradition and how much a person really needs in life. From Fight Club to Brussels sprouts, there are lots of stories framing the segments this week. After these two tackle the holiday, Charlie shares his thoughts on the Showtime series Shameless. The two discuss the more clean cut elements of what should be a gritty story as this one goes beyond the show itself. After that it's a drink that should have stayed a Wedding Cake and we close with some beautiful Southern music uncovered by Ginny. We're counting down to episode #50 and there's much to be thankful for as a new episode is delivered for your feast.

This week we see the return of Aloysius Fox to the show as our favorite movie reviewer takes a look at a movie franchise he loves. The James Bond film Skyfall is the focus as he digs in with Ginny and Charlie. Aloysius also sticks around for a Ginny Tonic libation creation in the Bottoms Up segment. Think that's enough? This week Ginny and Charlie also catch you up on the events of the last couple weeks, share a classic music selection and get into an interesting discussion of art and personal creativity. Sometimes you just get lucky in life and a really great afternoon comes together. You know the kind. You make plans, they fun and you have your hopes up as you arrive. Often things don’t live up to those hopes but every rare once in a while they turn out so much better than expected. Such was the case a few weeks ago when Ginny Tonic and Charlie joined Ford Theatre Reunion at the Beer Trappe in Lexington, KY. They planned to try a few beers and deepen their understanding but what followed was a legendary afternoon, which was caught on audio, edited and served up for your enjoyment this week. The day was a bit educational, utterly fun, humor filled and in the end no less than a celebration of beer. Cheers!
