We are thrilled to unveil the new Bottoms Up podcast with your hosts Ginny Tonic and Charlie. What you have here is an alcohol infused show with a side of sexy brought to you by the hosts of the Charlie Tonic Hour. We’ll be sharing new shows every Friday and this podcast will be short format with shows lasting from 10 – 15 minutes in length.

This week, we explore exactly what is so wonderfully sinful about Envy? Angel’s Envy that is. This coveted bourbon whiskey is aged up to 6 years in charred white oak barrels and finished in ruby port wine casks and has been described by Wine and Spirits Magazine as a “Living Legend”. We decided to launch our new podcast with it as it has factored heavily into year one of our sister podcast, the Charlie Tonic Hour.

The Voodoo Carnival is a much-celebrated annual event here in Cincinnati. This week we're featuring an attendee interview/report from Lord Spencington, an individual who not only took part in the show but also took his clothes off for on stage for the very first time. Hear how this act of bravery grew out of his listening to an episode of the show. Also this week, Ginny Tonic and Charlie catch up with the Grammys, share some more stories from their lives and sample some flavorful Moonshine. 

Did someone request a side order of sexy? It’s been a while since they’ve gone there, but Ginny Tonic and Charlie are tackling sex advice this week as they get playful and a bit introspective. Also in episode #59, Charlie shares some of his favorite recent board game discoveries and then he and Ginny Tonic close out the audio from their Lexington, KY trip with a fact packed visit to Barrel House Distilling Company.  All this and a band called the Jealous Sound make for a fun show that leaves Charlie wondering what he admitted to this time out.

Once again, life is good! Ginny Tonic and Charlie ventured to Lexington, KY visiting bars, breweries and distilleries for the show and a secret future project. They share tales of those adventures then serve up the first of three audio segments from the weekend. This week they take you to Alltech's Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company for a round of spirits. Also this time out, the podcasting duo looks ahead speculating on some films that have them excited and offer up some music to snuggle up to on a cold winter night. Episode #57 begins with a cocktail and you should too!

This week Ginny Tonic and Charlie have some great stories to share as they explore Cincinnati and stumble at least once along the way. Rap enters the discussion in small ways during three out of the four segments (Ludachris and Lil Wayne chiefly). We also talk tech and sample some fine cognac before this one is done. Also, we unveil an upcoming distillery visit you'll hear about in great detail next week.

It's hard to believe that a full year has already passed since the Charlie Tonic Hour took to the podcast airwaves. This week, for their one-year anniversary, Charlie and Ginny Tonic are LOADED UP with stories as they both had quite the time leading up to New Years. From the holidays to soul massaging music events to a sense that they're ready for 2013 to begin, it's an extended Discourse Intercourse segment that still had these two rushing to cover everything.
