This episode has a lot of stories involved....and my hope is that from these stories...you understand better the following 4 things:
- what other people do should not affect your self-worth
- we never know someone else's truth until we ask
- don't judge
- be kind
I talk about a book signing, a gas station, vampires, the mafia....we're all over the place today!
Listen in to see what I mean.
The book mentioned is called YOU, THE STORY, by Ruta Sepetys.

This episode is about feelings of sadness and depression and how to help yourself. BUT I make it very clear that this is not medical advice, and I highly advise seeking professional help if you're struggling.
I also talk about how easy it is to hide these feelings, and WHY we hide them.
Love and hugs.

In this episode you're getting a couple embarrassing stories...two that I thought I was OK with sharing until I was actually saying them out loud. But...I shared anyway!
I went a few different directions in this episode, but the overall message I want to share is BE TRUE TO YOU. Lean in to those people that accept the real you, and don't change for other people. As hard as that can feel sometimes.
I am also a work in progress, but we got this!

Unfortunately, I know quite a bit about fat burners and fad diets from experience.
I spent YEARS using these tactics to try and lose weight. I'd lose some, but it always came back. In this episode I want to share with you some warnings/repercussions about taking fat burners and doing fad diets, as well as what to do if you're already in the mix of either.
Probably gonna make some people angry too, but it needed to be said.

This episode is very real, very raw...I am sharing some of the thoughts I've had lately about feeling like I've failed, feeling less than, my limiting beliefs, and comparing myself to others.
I also share how this helps YOU.
And why I continue to keep going through all of it.

What if failure doesn't mean a "lack of success"? What if it means the exact opposite?!
Listen to this quick episode about why we should be embracing our failures instead of avoiding them or being ashamed.

This episode is about a topic I've had on my mind a lot lately, the scale! Dreaded by most, but it truly can be a really good tool in your fitness journey.
In this episode I'll talk about how to use the scale as a tool, some pros and cons, some tips on how to best use it, AND, some options to use as tools if you don't want to use the scale. Which is fine!
This is a very personal decision.
The option to track your progress that I did NOT mention, is having your body fat percentage measured. I left this out just because you can't do this very accurately on your own, and most people don't have calipers. You can go to the gym and have someone help you though. FYI the body fat percentages from scales are usually not accurate.

I started this podcast to share life lessons with my nieces from my life experiences, successes, and mistakes. Life lessons that will never go out of style, much like…in my opinion anyway…CHEETAH…
I decided to share this with all of you as well in hopes I can help as many women as possible, at any age. But I also want this to be a safe place for younger women to find advice when they don’t feel comfortable talking to an adult in their own life about something.
The Cheetah Print Chats podcast will cover a wide array of topics, including setting boundaries, travel, fitness, body image, self care, money tips, grief, and more. Many of the episodes will be solo. I will be sharing a story from my life, and pointing out what I hope you can learn from it, as well as any tips you can apply to your life. But I will also be interviewing others from time to time when we want to dive deeper into a topic, or, if there is a requested topic in which I don’t have experience.
I’ve gone through a lot in my life…divorce, bankruptcy, massive career changes, cross-continent and cross-country moves, hard break-ups, eating disorders, feeling completely left out…but I’ve learned something from all of it, and that is what I want to share with you! My hope is that as you listen each week, you can learn something from my experiences to apply in your own life. And hopefully avoid some of my mistakes! I can’t wait to chat with you!
