In this weeks episode, we sat down with Michael Weed. On May 17, 2013, Michael suffered a stroke which affected his right leg and arm as well as his ability to speak. We discuss the events leading up to his stroke, what his life is like now and his guilty pleasure music. All and all this was a very uplifting and inspirational episode. We hope you enjoy it and also learn from it. Pay attention to the warning signs.

Corey & Tricia welcome David Arai to the studio for a discussion about Boy Scouts. He serves as Committee Chairman of Troop 198 which meets out of Doolittle School. We learn about the Boy Scouts, and more importantly the benefit of donating your time. This episode really highlights the amazing Cheshire Community with a story of how it came together to replace a stolen Trailer full of Camping Gear.

For this week's episode of The Cheshire Cast, Corey and Tricia sit down with Fellis Jordan and Anne Harrigan from Freinds of Boulder Knoll. We learn about CSAs and what the plan is for 2019 and how membership will change a bit. We talk about Deer Disco parties and a Bee that was discovered here I Cheshire that apparently doesn't exist anywhere else. There's some of the usual banter between Corey and Tricia but in the overall, this is a very educational episode.

We discuss the hobby of glass blowing, and how you have to seek out a man in Manitou Springs, Colorado in order to get started. Well, no not really, but it's sorta almost like that, it's just easier to make a phone call and watch Pink Floyd syncing with The Wizard of Oz
