A 98-year-old woman who wed a 94-year-old man has everyone believing in love.  Newlyweds Gertrude Mokotoff and Alvin Mann, got married last weekend.  Alvin, a businessman and the oldest person to graduate from Mount St. Mary College, was unfazed by their May to December romance. “I kept getting teased about dating a cougar,” he said. “But the age difference never really bothered me because we just hit it off, and I wasn’t about to let her go.”  However it was Gertrude who truly broke barriers with a marriage proposal one night after driving home from New York City. “I asked him to marry me.”   “I was tired of chasing after him.”  It’s Today’s “Good Feeling Story of the Day!

Kindness is like a light in the world, and Providence, Rhode Island, takes that literally. Hasbro Children’s Hospital resident cartoonist Steve Brosnihan started flickering his bicycle lights up at the kids as he left to show them he was saying goodbye after he would leave after his visits.  Eventually, he got local businesses to flicker at bedtime, too, and Good Night Lights grew into a city wide movement. Local restaurants, police cruisers, apartment residents, and more show their support for the children in the hospital by flickering flashlights and neon signs at 8:30 every nights and the kids inside blink flashlights in response. “It is all I look forward to basically all day,” said Abigail Waldron, a 10 year old who’s been in the hospital for leukemia treatment.  It’s Today’s “Good Feeling Story of the Day!

A Florida Uber driver helps save a man's life after receiving a ride to a bridge in Florida.  Uber driver Chad Farley wrote on Facebook that he was working Monday night and had picked up the man, who requested to be taken to the middle of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Tampa, a spot where dozens have reportedly died by or attempted suicide.  Chad said the man, who is in his 20s, said he had been diagnosed with brain cancer, so they started talking and praying.  Chad said he took a picture with the man before he dropped the man off away from the bridge and called 911.  According to FHP, troopers responded to a rest area near the bridge and found the man on a fishing pier.  As the troopers were talking with the man, he fled into the water.  Two troopers entered the dark water and were able to find the man after several minutes.  The 28-year-old man was taken to Bayfront Medical Center where he was listed in critical but stable condition.  It’s Today’s “Good Feeling Story of the Day!”

Roxy Getter just made the history books.  In July, the 8-year-old from Punta Gorda, Florida, reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro -- after climbing all 19,341 feet, during a family trip to Africa.  Roxy is now the youngest female to ever climb Mt. Kilimanjaro!  Here is the more remarkable thing about Roxy...she had open heart surgery as a baby and still has heart issues.  She made the journey with her parents and 10-year-old brother Ben, who traveled to Africa from Florida.  It’s Today’s “Good Feeling Story of the Day!”
