In this solo episode, we explore what it really means to commune with nature, as a living mirror. Building on last week’s discussion about nature’s impact on stress, I share reflections from our Choosing Woo group journey, where we created a nature mandala that bought up a lot for the women.
Animism teaches us that the world is alive and when we meet nature from that lens, we’re invited to witness the parts of ourselves we usually avoid. Nature isn’t tidy. It’s chaotic, strange, messy, beautiful, and sometimes brutal. And in the last fortnight, that same truth has been rising in me: the “uglier” sides of being human deserve attention, not avoidance.
This episode explores the honesty of nature, how our own inner edges mirror that honesty, and how communion becomes a form of remembering rather than escaping.
