Anyone want to be angry less and love more?  We all would, right??  It seems so hard sometimes to just not get angry and love.  But what if we are going about it all wrong?  Listen in.  Today and tomorrow because I want to talk about how adding “love people more” is not something we can even begin to accomplish ourselves.  The answer lies in “being loved.”

I asked in the group, what makes you angry? We got some good responses. The distinction that we need to draw is that it’s ok to be angry, it’s “easily angered” that’s the hard part. The topic that seems to hit our hot buttons consistently, are no-shows. So this week, in the practical application of not being easily angered, and loving our customers and team, let’s talk about how to increase show rate. My thought is, if we can have a good idea of what show rate should be, and how to improve it, maybe we will be a little slower to anger.

Anger.  Yikes. Some of us are ok with it, others of us aren’t.  But the reality is that we all feel it at times.  And in network marketing, since we work with so many people, we can feel it even when we weren’t expecting to.  Let’s take a look today at Biblical anger as we progress this week, we’ll discuss some of those issues you brought up in the facebook group.

Yesterday I talked about the ways that our own concerns about ourselves keep us from being able to be truly self-less.  I briefly mentioned that selflessness happens when we surrender to the one who is able to meet our needs.  Today, I want to address more of what I mean.  How about some practical tips about how we can grow in being the opposite of self-seeking: God-seeking?

Selflessness…SO easy, right?  Wrong!  Since we have been talking this week about being self-seeking, I want to take the next two days to talk about why it’s so easy for us to slip into being self-seeking and what we can do about it.

I think it’s easy to say we know what the good thing to do is, but it’s hard to do.  Romans 7, anyone? (“For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.”)

Today I’m going to share an insight from the parable of the talents that I had never considered before. We need to look at the truth about scarcity.
