  • EP 51 Side Effects, Boats, Love Is Blind 3

    Ciao Everyone,

here is to a new episode. I share with you how I discovered that medical side effects aren't just rambling on tv, but also some thoughts on the tragedy of Cutro, in which more than 70 refugees lost their lives. Having a Brown leader doesn't mean more understating when it comes to the rights of asylum seekers and refugees and we were reminded of this by UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak. Of course, you know I like to put in a lighter note with 2 cents on Love is Blind US season 3.

    Enjoy xxx

  • EP 49 Seasons of Love: grief
Ciao Everyone, in this episode I share with you about the lost of activist for citizenship rights for “Italiani Senza Cittadinanza” and my friend, Omar Neffati. Rest in Power 🌹🤍 “How can you measure the life of a woman or a man?
    In truths that she learned
Or in times that he cried
    In bridges he burned
Or the way that she died
It's time now to sing out
    Although it's not the end
To celebrate, remember a year in the life of a friend
    Remember the love
    Remember the love
    Remember the love
    Measuring the seasons of love
    Seasons of love”

  • Ep 48 New Year, Greta Thunberg, British Tea

    Ciao Everyone,

    Happy New Year Everyone!

Well, this is for us that go based on the Gregorian Calendar, but time is quite a relative concept in different cultures,  for example in the Yoruba culture, they are years ahead of us.  2022 ended with the best tweet from climate activist, Greta Thunberg. In this episode, we discuss how some people were quicker to talk about the "small d*ck energy" expression, more than the crimes that A. T4te is accused of, including human trafficking. In 2023 Prince Harry is still serving us some boiling tea regarding himself and his family and you know that I love some tea. Talking about the Royal Family, Edwin Chiloba, a Kenyan designer and LGBTQIA+ activist was killed, the reality is that homophobia is one of the long-lasting legacies in Africa of colonialism.

Take your time at the begging of the year to reflect and your goals, don't rush.

    Enjoy,

  • ep 47 World Cup, Argentina, Harry and Meghan doc

    Ciao Everyone,

Spotify wrap's out and the love you showed on here has been so appreciated.

The World Cup has ended but of course, with many controversies from Qatar as a host to Argentinian fans thinking they were racially and nationally pure compared to France, mostly made up of French players of African descent. Is that the case although? We will discuss this together with Morocco being the first African team to reach the semifinals.

Of course, I couldn't miss the chance to watch and comment on Harry and Meghan's latest Netflix documentary. Some aspects came up regarding Meghan's race as a biracial white-passing woman. We will dive into this episode.

    Have a great Holiday Season,

    With care,

  • Ep 46 Wakanda, Latin America, Twitter

    Ciao Everyone,

In this episode, I share my thoughts on "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" and the connection between Africa and Latin America, through the character of Namor. There is often a denial of racism in Latin America, but is that the case?

I also share with you how I feel about Twitter slowly disappearing, as it's my favourite social.

    Enjoy x

  • Ep 43 Elections, the Queen, turning 30

    Ciao Everyone,

    Welcome back!

So much has happened in the last few weeks, I share with you my thoughts going towards the Italian General Elections with the fear of a neofascist party at the door and what the death of Queen Elisabeth has meant, especially for people like myself that have origins in countries that were colonized by the British. As you probably know by now honesty is why I have this podcast.

I have just turned 30! *Alexa,  play Happy Birthday by Stevie Wonder!

In this episode, I reflect on where I am, where I am going, my detour and what I have learned in my 20s,
