The Chronicles of A Black Italian Woman episodes

  • Ep 41 NHIE, Summer Blues, Community

    Ciao Everyone,

Here we are, I wasn't really planning for this episode but Never Have I ever season 3 Netflix has given me some inspiration. In this episode, I share with you why I can relate to Devi Vishal Kumar, the main character, a high schooler who's Indian American.

Lately, I have been in a little bit of a mood and may have turned a part of the episode into a therapy session, but I wanted to be honest about some challenges that I'm facing and I hope this helps someone.

We saw in Italy the killing of Alika Ogorchukwu, a 38-year-old, Nigerian street vendor and this has impacted the Afroitalian community has organized in a small amount of time communication and a march in Civitanova Marche. The feelings were a lot and you can probably hear it in the episode, but I'm also filled with so much pride,

    Enjoy x

  • Ep 39 Racial Profiling, Festival Divercity, Ius Scholae
    Ciao People of the internet,
Your girl is back with a new episode!
I'm sorry I haven't been posting, in this episode I share with you why and what I have been up to. Sometimes your moments of relaxation as a Black woman can be disputed by microaggressions and racism. Unfortunately, in a well-known British Brand pharmacy here in Rome I had a very unpleasant and upsetting episode that I give some details about. The joy of the 5th edition Festival Diverscity in Milan," a platform of artistic activism to affect culture and fight all discriminations, will not be taken away. In this episode, I also touched on the latest attempt of Italian citizenship reform, "IUS SCHOLAE" , the clownery of the Far-right and the resilience of activists.

    Happy new month!

    Ciao Everyone,
I hope you're well. As I hope I will bring back some guests soon, you're stuck with my voice.
Today I share with you about International Women's day, the controversy around March 8 and the problematic statement by Kimberly Kardashian on women's work ethic. Is just working hard enough to escape poverty? This is something I try to answer.
Also, I wanted to bring a lighter topic: the latest Netflix shows that I watched from "The Tinder Swindler" to rewatching a K-drama and strangely enjoying an Italian Netflix show.
