Courtney Beard joins the discussion in the whirlwind of our current events with the CSP crew ( Prentiss L. Thompson - Pastor Caleb Windley). They talk about the church and how the future could develop and moreover how it all relates to Pastors, Church Leaders, Covid-19, Race relations and our humanity as a whole.
American Christianity is the microcosm of America itself.
Paul writes :
“I affirm, brethren, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily” (1 Corinthians 15:31, NASB).
To die of something we must recognize that something within has LIFE that requires death. If there is no revelation there is no death.
If revelation occurs there is no action We have a disease and its called racism. How can we move forward. Listen ,Laugh and Learn..
What Is Compression?
Compression is the process of lessening the dynamic range between the loudest and quietest parts of an audio signal. This is done by boosting the quieter signals and attenuating the louder signals. The controls you are given to set up a compressor are usually:
* Threshold - how loud the signal has to be before compression is applied.
* Ratio - how much compression is applied. For example, if the compression ratio is set for 6:1, the input signal will have to cross the threshold by 6 dB for the output level to increase by 1dB.
* Attack - how quickly the compressor starts to work.
* Release - how soon after the signal dips below the threshold the compressor stops.
* Knee - sets how the compressor reacts to signals once the threshold is passed. Hard Knee settings mean it clamps the signal straight away, and Soft Knee means the compression kicks in more gently as the signal goes further past the threshold.
* Make-Up Gain - allows you to boost the compressed signal. as compression often attenuates the signal significantly.
* Output - allows you to boost or attenuate the level of the signal output from the compressor.
The inner cities of America are by definition an “unreached people group”when you realize that there is no indigenous, self-propagating, growth of Christian community (the Church) taking place. Although many churches exist in the impoverished areas, most are spiritually bankrupt and uninterested in reaching their community.
What does the word urban mean?
Use the adjective urban to refer to cities or people who live in cities. ... The terms city and town are sometimes used inconsistently. If it is large enough, a town is considered to be an urban area. Communities where people live outside cities are called suburban.
The cities of the world are crucial places for Christian mission. We can see this from the very beginnings of the church: in Acts, Paul goes to Athens, the intellectual centre of the Greco-Roman world; Corinth, one of the commercial centres of the empire; Ephesus, perhaps the Roman world’s religious centre

Veteran engineer- Saddleback Church Tech director - South Hills Church Tech director campuses and multiple locations - Magnolia Church technical director During my time at Mariners Church the church tech community was just in its infancy. Dabbling in podcasting and blogging he started to connect with people like Mike Sessler and with the premier of Twitter the church tech community really started to form.
As a charter member of both the Church Tech Director’s Round Table (CTDRT) and the Church Technical Arts Network (CTAN), now known as Church Technical Leaders (CTLN), I was able to meet so many
amazing church techs from around the country. Since then I’ve co-hosted the Church TechWeekly Podcast with Mike and host the Church Tech Profiles Podcast. I’ve also been a contributor to SundayMag.tv and other publications. Since January 2016 I’ve been one of the Church Relations guys at CCI Solutions.
The job of the Gain/Trim knob is to control those levels so the faders can best control the volume output.
Gain staging is important because it directly pertains to the volume relationships within our mix.
How do you set a gain structure?
To establish proper gain structure, the primary element and first concern is input gain. Each system input provides adjustable Gain In or trim level, with an associated Peak indicator. For best performance, increase the gain on a given input until the Peak indicator just begins to flash on normal signal content
Rule of Thumb
1- follow the signal
2- Strong signal in sound check
3- Set the fader with the gain
Parachute:
* in this method, a church planter and family move into a new location to start a church from scratch.
The Mother Church
* To provide the initial leadership and resources (money and/or people) to start a new, or daughter, church. This may also be done by a group of organizations working together.
House, or cell church, method.
* Small groups, called cells, which meet in homes may form and multiply using a relational model Some cell groups are networked with one another and periodically meet together in a larger group. A church may also be planted when an existing church splits.
Multi-site church
* The expansion of a may result in new churches being established, however, this is not the same as church planting. One church bah bah locations

Audio Interfaces allow you to connect things like microphones and guitar cables to a computer and record via USB most commonly. It also has outputs typically and allow Studio Monitor Speakers, computer speakers or headphones to listen to the recorded or real-time incoming audio to play through the computer.
Few things are as important as great audio when live streaming. Many people run live streams in the background while they work and so for them, audio is perhaps even more important than video. Whether it’s a microphone, an instrument, your game audio, or some combination of any/all of them having great audio is key to having a professional stream.
