THE CHURCH: The Church Begins

Kids will learn that God is good because he doesn’t leave us alone—he sent the Holy Spirit to help his people. They’ll discover what happened at Pentecost and how the Holy Spirit gives us power, courage, and understanding to follow Jesus and share the good news.


⭐ What Kids Will Learn:

  • 🕊️ After Jesus went back to heaven, the Holy Spirit helped people believe in Jesus.
  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Everyone who loves and trusts Jesus is part of the church, God’s family.
  • 🏛️ The church is not just a building. The church is God’s people gathering together.
  • 🎶 The early church worshiped God, learned from His Word, prayed, and cared for one another.
  • 🌍 God is still growing his church today as more people hear the good news about Jesus.

        • ❤️ As a family, think of one way you can serve or encourage another family from your church this week.

        • 📖 Read Acts 2:46–47 together and talk about what the early church did together.
        • 🙏 Pray and thank God for the people in your church who help you learn about and love Jesus more.
