Last year a study found gas produced by plankton in Antarctica cool the earth much more than thought. Now, the gas rises into the atmosphere where it forms aerosols that reflect heat back into space. It’s a massive cooling mechanism—and it had never been properly measured before!
In other words, there’s still so much we don’t know about climate—and that explains why models keep making wrong predictions. We don’t need to freak out over climate change. Our climate was designed by God, broken by sin, impacted by the flood, and has varied since then. And someday God will make a new earth with a perfect climate once again.
