How being part of a community can help you to find clients and customers and in turn bring about more work!
Creating connections and establishing relationships is the number one way that I've built both of my businesses and in the episode I chat more about the power of word of mouth recommendations even in today's social media centred world and share my top tips for building community in business.
I really hope you find the episode useful!

  • Episode 69 - My Experience with WFH Loneliness and How to Deal with it
I'm sure many of you will already know that the whole reason I decided to create The Co-Working Club in the first place was to help deal with the loneliness and isolation I was facing after taking the leap into working from home full-time.
To mark Loneliness Awareness Week I'm going to be sharing more about my personal experience with loneliness in a bid to open up the conversation as I know it's not something that people often shout about.
In the episode I chat more about:
•The three different types of loneliness you can experience
•Why women are more likely to be affected by loneliness than men
•As well as the side effects loneliness can have on both our mental AND physical health
I also share some of my top tips for dealing with loneliness that I've picked up over the past four years of working from home which I hope you find useful!

  • Episode 68 - How to Take Action in Your Business with Rebecca Tembo From The Entry Platform
Do you struggle with procrastination or are you prone to overthinking as a business owner?
I'm so happy to be welcoming the amazing Rebecca Tembo to the podcast to chat all about taking action in your business!
If you don't know her already, Rebecca is a fashion designer and founder of The Entry Platform, an educational community which aims to help aspiring designers to create and launch their very own clothing lines!
The Entry Platform was born during 2020, as Rebecca realised she needed to diversify her income due to her luxury jumpsuits not being at the top of everyone's lockdown priority list.
Alongside setting up a brand new business, Rebecca has also self published a book, created a productivity planner, launched an online course, started a podcast, set up a YouTube channel and hosted online events so she's someone who seriously knows how to get suff DONE!
In the episode I chat to Rebecca all about how:
✨ She practically manages her time as a business owner and gets the most out of her working days (and spoiler alert: it doesn't mean chaining herself to her desk 24/7)
✨ Why she believes it's so important for business owners to first define their vision ahead of setting goals
✨ As well as how she personally deals with self doubt and down days as a business owner which was SO refreshing!
I absolutely LOVED getting to Rebecca and I hope you find our conversation as inspiring as I did!

  • Episode 62 - Redefining Success in Business with Alice Benham
What does success look like to you?
I'm so happy to be welcoming Business and Marketing Coach, Alice Benham to the podcast today to chat all about redefining success within your business!
Despite reaching several of what many of us would consider to be 'shiny milestones' over the past couple of years such as hitting 10K followers on Instagram, launching her own product line and having multiple successful launches, Alice has ALWAYS made sure to acknowledge the bigger picture in terms of all of the hard work, challenges and sacrifice that has gone into each of these achievements.
Alice's open and honest approach to running a business regularly inspires me to be more transparent within my own business and I hope this conversation does the same for you!
In the episode I chat to Alice all about:
•How her markers of success have changed and developed over the past few years as she has built a business that prioritises impact and has a focus of sustainability at it's core
•How to put Instagram in it's place and use it as a tool as opposed to an indicator of success
•As well as how we can all work together to change the narrative when it comes to defining success in business and move away from the glamorisation of 10K Instagram followers and six figure launches
It was such a pleasure to chat to Alice on this topic, I feel as though like we could have talked about it all day long but who knows, maybe there'll be a part two as I feel like we only just began to scratch the surface...
I really hope you enjoy the episode!

  • Episode 61 - The Reality of Running a Shop with Jessie Whealy From Jessie's Art Shed
I don't know about you but I've always dreamt of running my own cute little shop in a village somewhere and today I'm welcoming Jessie Whealy, founder of Jessie's Art Shed to the podcast to see whether the reality lives up to the dream!
Jessie started teaching art classes from her parents shed aged eighteen and although her business has grown and developed a lot since then, the core vision has remained the same, to provide the opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to create and grow in confidence.
In the episode I chat to Jessie all about:
•Her journey so far including how she knew it was the right time to take the leap from her parents shed to her very own shop
•The decision to have her husband Olly come on board and how they make working together work for them
•As well as how they have adapted and pivoted their business to overcome the challenges that lockdown has presented over the past twelve months.
It was such a pleasure to chat to Jessie and it seems very fitting to be sharing this episode on the day that they open the shop again for the first time after four long months due to lockdown.
I really hope you enjoy the episode!
