What is happiness? How do we find it?  Why is it important? 

Happiness is a state where you feel joyful, blissful, content, fulfilled, satisfied. Who DOESN'T want to feel all those things and more? So, the bigger question is how do you find your 'happy' and is this a permanent state of being?

To get happy, you have to find it from within. If money, power, career, success are the primary drivers of your happiness, the reality is that your happiness will only exist if money, power, career, success are available. What happens when one of those is withdrawn or changes? Your happiness level will dip or worst case scenario - diminish.  Finding internal happiness requires work to understand who you are, what your triggers are on your energy and motivation, then once you find those, you align your habits and lifestyle to increase the things that create and generate internal state of happiness. When your external world changes, you happiness isn't affected as deeply.

That's not to say you may have challenging moments or situations, however, if you can tap into your inner happiness you'll cope with those challenges more easier.

How are you prioritising your health?  What areas of your life do you connect to Health? There are a few domains that when interconnected and balanced will lead you to a more happier, purpose driven, value driven, holistic self.

Why would that be important? We often talk about 'parts' of ourselves, 'part of me says yes', 'part of me says no', 'I'm divided between this or that'. Think back to those times when you have indecision because your heart says one thing, your head says another. If you want more time doing the things you love and have meaning to you, for friendship, for travel, for fun, for joy, if you want love, energy, financial stability etc then it all starts with being your authentic self, then you know truly what and who is important to you, you'll focus your time, energy and effort into all the things that make you feel ALIVE.

We accumulate all sort of things, people, memories, experiences, possessions throughout our lifetime. When is the tipping point we have NO MORE ROOM to store these? Our homes, our memory (long and short term), our space gets filled to the brim with things that once had a purpose and now they don't. We may find it hard to let go of these things because we are attached to them. The truth is that you probably don't need them anymore. 

Your destiny is to grow, to evolve, to transform. As a baby you grew into a toddler, then a teenager and then an adult. Did you always sleep in the same bed from an infant to an adult? I'd hedge my bets and say you didn't because you grew. Naturally you can see growth in a physical way, what we don't always see is our emotional and spiritual growth because they are often invisible. 

Maybe its time to upgrade from the cot to the king size bed. Have more space, it will feel more comfortable, you'll need new linen and perhaps other form of comfort in your new space, or maybe you just love the new space and don't need to put anything else on or in the new bed.  This is life. We cannot keep collecting and expecting our storage to be unlimited. We have to release, surrender, let go of what used to work for us but no longer does. That's not always easy. Think of what the new will enable, the possibilities, the opportunities. This is the reason we live, to explore and expand, its your birthright.

Bliss: is perfect happiness; great joy. Can you really live in a state of bliss where you feel in your flow. Finding your bliss is not avoiding challenges but having an ebb and flow when they do arrive. embracing them as a friend. Resistance creates the opposite of bliss, when you find acceptance you allow bliss into your life.

Having bliss is our ultimate goal, you can find it in small simple gestures, nature, gratitude and following creative pursuits that allow you to get into your body. When you let go of judgement, resistance, anxiety, expectations and be present in the moment you are more likely to find your bliss.

The seasonal changes represent a natural energetic time to make shifts. From goal setting, intention and visualisation in early part of the year, post holidays we can now prepare to nourish our goals, desires just like we do plants and flowers. Time clocks usually change (depending where you are in the world), reminding us of change. Spring is transformative time, you can prepare your environment to allow the desires and wishes to flourish and grow.

Think of your home. Is it full with things? Some of those things you no longer need or have any use for you - passing them on to others to love and make great use is a good way to feed our karmic energy whilst making space for new. Not just the physical and material, this is transferrable to your mental and emotional self. Releasing what no longer works for you or is good for you will create the necessary space that is ready for your new desires to grow.

Use this amazing energy as we step into spring but cleansing and clearing your physical and emotional space for you to grow. This is a cycle that is ongoing, it's not a one off task, this is at the core of self care.

Many people ask me the same question 'do you ever sleep Zoe?'. Honestly, between many projects and goals I have, I spin plates really well. For the past two years, I have crafted my time, energy and power to create the life I want. It's about discipline, continued self development, knowing myself really well and leveraging my energy, my personal power and intention to get things into action.

I am my own cheerleader and energy bunny. No, I don't have a TV and here's why. I use my time to nourish my mind, I read and listen to content that's relevant to my goals.

I protect my time, I set strong boundaries for others to follow and use my time as I discern because its my time to decide how I spend.

My power hour is mainly early morning when I feel most grateful and inspired or when I am out in nature or when I am in deep reflection.

I always have an intention of what I want to achieve in my power hour and I usually achieve it. If I don't, I reflect on my learnings and use to make adjustments, sometimes we need to trust that we are being guided.

So my winning formula to speeding up results: (key takeaways)

*Find out your most energetic hour and protect that time for you. Be completely selfish because you have quadruple your results just by using your most highest vibration energy in the day.

*Turn off distractions, set your intention and FOCUS on that. Be clear on what you want to achieve in 60 minutes. Set an alarm if you need to divide your 60 mins into separate actions.

*Leverage your superpowers in that power hour.

*celebrate your progress at the end of the 60 mins

*repeat

Watch what happens in the next week(s) and months if you do this consistently, you can make anything possible.

If you are a goal getter, a goal digger and you aren't getting what you want. You likely have toxicity lurking somewhere.

Your thoughts, habits, other people, situations, and places could sabotage you from achieving what you want. We need cheerleaders, not necessarily people, to tell us things are perfect and amazing when they aren't. Cheerleaders are the ones who have your interest at heart and aren't thinking about their own agenda.

Get clean by looking at your energy. What gives you pure energy? Who gives you incredible power? Increase the things, places and time with people who feel like sunshine.

Whatever zaps and takes your energy, money and time for little return, it's time to remove them from your life.

Why don't we get what we truly want? We may state our intention and make a list of goals and actions. But then what?

Let's talk about why we don't get what we truly want and evolve our thoughts and feelings to what we DO WANT.

First, your why has to be compelling enough. You may THINK you want something, it could be because it's an expectation from others what you SHOULD do, be or have. Do you really know what it is you want and why?

Grab a pen and paper. Answer these questions:

1. What do I really want?

2. Why is this important to me?

3. What happens if I don't get what I want?

4. Why would you be bothered if you didn't get what you want? What does this signify?

Be truthful with yourself, sit back and reflect on your answers.... it's right there staring at you.
