Welcome to episode #176 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

In this episode, we take a deep dive into what’s been going on in the CDL. We are rounding the corner to champs, and we have a serious race going on amongst the teams at the cutoff for champs. Every team is within just a few points of one another, and there are 4 teams that won’t be fighting for that championship at the end. We share our thoughts and predictions for the end of the year, as well as discussing some of the difficulties that the Boston Breach faced this year. In a year where we were expecting the most success, we struggled for wins and our out of champs. We cover some of the moves during the year and get into what may have contributed to this difficult year for the team.

The day has finally come! We got our real for Black Ops 6, and everything big that we need to know to get us excited for the next iteration of Call of Duty! We have an official date for release, campaign news, and most importantly big announcements regarding multiplayer. We go through every big piece of news that we got from this announcement, and give our thoughts on what is most important, and what we believe are going to be the biggest changes to the future of COD. In this episode, we have gotten into the swing of season 4, and have our thoughts to share on what we have seen so far, and what we are hoping for with season 4 reloaded. We discuss the new weapons, as well as a debate regarding the DNA bomb vs. MGB, and which one is “better”. Along with this, we are coming off of a big COD event with some of the biggest names from the top teams, the Founding Fathers event hosted by 100 Thieves, FaZe, and OpTic. This was an event for the ages, and we cover some of the highlights from this event. Finally, we end with a quick Boston Breach update, regarding their place in the standings, and what their role will be as the year goes on into Major 4.

In this episode, we finally have the full roadmap for season 4 of MWIII, which will be launching on May 29th. In this, we’ve got plenty of new maps, as well as some fan favorite modes and weapons that are returning. This is our most anticipated season thus far, especially with it coming off of the rumors surrounding Black Ops 6. We cover the multiplayer side of the roadmap, as well as cover some of the rumors and news surrounding COD 2024. Along with this, we have just finished with CDL Major III in Toronto, and this was a major that will go down in history. We share some of our favorite moments, and discuss some of the moves that we will likely be seeing for the remainder of the season.

In this episode, we cover the past week of double xp in MWIII, and how we took full advantage of this time to grind out levels to make this season much easier on us. We are nearly max level with over a month left of the season, and this will give us plenty of time for ranked and other game modes. We also share some thoughts on it’s competitor, xDefiant, and how it will fit into the space with its release, as we got another taste of it with an open beta this past weekend. We cover the debate that has been circling this topic, and share our thoughts on what we think is best for the CDL and the fans.
