Welcome to episode #156 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we get ready for all the big updates and additions that are coming with season 2 of MWIII. Prior to this, there have been updates regarding hardpoint rotations, as well as some gun buffs and nerfs, and this will be even more prevalent with the start of season 2. We break down the roadmap that has been shown to us, and go over the pros and cons of it. Lots of new content for us on the multiplayer side, but not as good of news for zombies fans, as well as for us who are hoping for more raid episodes in MWIII. So far Sledgehammer has delivered on lots of good content, and we hope they keep this up with future seasons.
What are your thoughts on some of the new maps and weapons in season 2? Are you a fan of them? What do you think about our replacing Terminal with Rio for ranked play? Is it a good or bad move? What other updates should come to make the game better in your opinion? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.

Welcome to episode #154 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we are covering post Major 1, and though recording before we go, we share how we hope Boston is the mainstay place for hosting a COD event for the foreseeable future. Along with this, ranked play has been out for some time, and we share our thoughts on what we hope to see with it. Knowing that it is not going to be changed much from last year, we share our thoughts on what can be improved, and go into some hopeful ideas regarding rewards for particular ranks that you hit each season.
What are your thoughts on ranked play so far? Do you find that there are lots of hackers, or are you experiencing less? What are your thoughts on our ideas for camo and skin rewards? Do you have any ideas of your own? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.

Welcome to episode #153 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we are coming up on our season 1 reloaded, but have yet to have any word as to what exactly will be included in it! In the meantime, the CDL teams have released their 2024 packs, and you know we are talking about the Boston Breach’s skin, and how we do wish teams had more creative freedom with these overall designs, whether it be character skins or camos. We also have news that an anti-cheat is being developed, titled “Splat”. We aren’t sure when it will be released, but we hope it is during the early stages of ranked play to help make the first couple weeks a more enjoyable experience for everyone, and especially into the future.
Are you planning on buying a CDL team pack? Which one is your favorite and why? Do you agree with our thoughts on blueprints, and how they should be available for all guns and not just one? Do you think this anti-cheat will deliver, or will hackers still be easy to come across and spot? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.

Welcome to episode #151 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we cover our recent grind within the season, as well as sharing how important it is to take a break from COD every once in a while, and how it recharges you and can even make you better as a player. With that being said, we’ve got a long grind ahead of us, with it being camos to unlock, or simply hitting level 250 before ranked comes out, which will take our full attention. With ranked coming out soon, we shift to talking about a major concern for us: hacking. Will we see the same amount of blatant cheating as we did in MWIII, or will it be fixed with a strong anticheat? We will have to wait until January 17th to find out.
Are you working on the camo grind/level 250 grind, or have you completed it already? Do you share some of our concerns with hacking this year in ranked play? If so, what sort of punishment should be laid down for those who are caught? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.
