This COD Champs will go down as one of the most unpredictable, and honestly the most upset-filled in recent memory. In this episode, we spend our time covering our final week of the CDL season covering our final predictions of the matches, and who we think have been the most impactful players throughout the year as we look towards Black Ops 7. Our main focus for today is the discussion around the CDL future, and a look towards the path forward for some of these players, as many have an uncertain future within the next few years. We look back at our favorite content creators from back in the day, and share our memories of when these creators stopped, and who were the ones that were able to continue to evolve and thrive. Finally, we end with covering a debate regarding gaming/gaming content as a career, and if it requires skill, and most importantly, if it is more difficult than a “normal” job. We share our thoughts on this, and would love to know yours!

We have finally made it to the end of the CDL main season. Champs is this week, and we finally get to see a conclusion to the season-long battle between FaZe and Thieves…assuming they are both in the grand finals. That being said, the hype and promotion for COD Champs has not been anywhere near the level you would expect for the biggest event of the year. We share our opinions on why this is the case, and give our opinions on what we think the CDL could do to be giving constant content during this long break we have been on. Finally, we close with our final bracket predictions, and give our case as to why we think we have the perfect bracket for the tournament.

It’s officially that time of year again! We have the next COD teaser trailer that just released for Black Ops 7, which is now already available for preorder, and has everyone talking. This year has left people with more questions than normal, and also a lot more basic demands from this year’s installment. We share our thoughts on the trailer, and what COD really needs to focus on this year in order for this to be a turning point in the franchise, and the FPS genre altogether. We also cover the rise of Splitgate 2, and how other FPS titles are entering the sphere and could potentially take some fans away from Black Ops 7, all depending on if they listen to the fans.

In this episode, we start off with covering the launch of season 4 for Black Ops 6, which has been nothing short of a complete disaster for Treyarch and Activision. The season launch has opened the gates up to hackers at a level we haven’t seen since the early launch of ranked play, and the playerbase isn’t happy. With no clear solution or timeline for fixes in sight, players are left wondering if it’s still worth it to be playing the game. We share our thoughts on this issue, and our personal experience with it so far. Finally, we end with a discussion of advertisement; a big talking point with season 4. With bundles and packs being shown in every screen of the game, the question is has Activision gone too far, and are they losing sight of what’s important for the game. We give our opinions on this discussion.

We had lots of surprising upsets that sealed their fates for making champs, and some who have made serious strides in the potential of making a deep run at champs. With Thieves taking the win, and now being tied with FaZe 2-2 in major wins this year, we have a serious battle for who is the superior team, and with their current performance they most likely will return to grand finals. Finally, we end with the discussion of Attach announcing his retirement from professional COD, and we cover the legacy that he leaves behind, and the path that is ahead for him.

In this episode, we have some very interesting rumors out now that are saying we will have wallrunning in Black Ops 7, as they see this as the continued evolution of omnimovement. We cover our initial thoughts on this, and cover the bigger issue of how this will be able to be pulled off using rumored Black Op 2 maps. The main topic for this episode is all Major IV. With the final week of online COD in the books, we cover our bracket prediction for the final major of the Black Ops 6 season before we end with champs. We know the chances of seeing FaZe and Thieves back on Sunday is very likely, but with the uncertainty of OpTic and Heretics, there may be some room for potential upsets on the horizon. We give our honest predictions, and then end with a bracket that would make the storyline going into champs that much better.

With this pickup, it leaves us talking about lots of mid-tier teams and their lack of roster changes. We discuss the pros and cons of making changes overall, and at this point in the season.
