Welcome to episode #216 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

In this episode, we have lots of big CDL news to break down, as there have been lots of teams in the mid to lower pack who have made big team changes to help fight and secure their spot for COD champs in a few months time. Some big names have been shifted around, and we cover all the moves and our opinions on how these teams will perform, either positively or negatively. Finally, we end with some talk on the season 3 roadmap that has been released. With Verdansk being the main focus for Call Of Duty, the multiplayer side of the roadmap is lacking, and we share our thoughts on the “promise” of getting more maps, and the hope that these maps will make it into ranked play or the CDL, as we are in desperate need for new maps to keep things fresh.

Welcome to episode #215 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

In this episode, we break down a very exciting Major II tournament, filled with lots of unexpected results and runs from teams we did not expect. This event showed us a lot from the teams in the midfield, as some that we have come to expect on Sunday ended their tournament early, and a few teams fighting for 4-6th made an appearance on Sunday. We cover the big matches in this major that led to some big story lines, and give our thoughts on what led some of these teams to have success, and what other teams are going to be thinking about over the coming weeks. It is becoming very clear who the best teams are in this game, and we share our thoughts on what needs to be done so we can have a closer fight at the top.

In this episode, we are ramping up for Major 2, and we are beyond excited! There is a strong fight for the top spot between FaZe and Thieves, as well as the fight for 3rd with the current struggles of OpTic. That being said, OpTic have made the statement that Kenny has officially been released from the starting roster, implementing that he is no longer a part of the organization. With this change, the rumor is that Skyz will be returning to the CDL with OpTic, and the fanbase has been divided on whether this is the right move or not. We break down our thoughts on the move, and our overall position on OpTic. We close out with our bracket prediction for Major II.

In this episode, we do a full recap on the 2nd and last minor tournament in the CDL. We had some expected runs, and some that have people wondering who is at the top of the power rankings. With FaZe making an early exit, Surge placing 2nd, and Thieves looking dominant as ever, the excitement is at an all time high as we go into major 2. OpTic have continued to struggle, and the situation is becoming more severe every time they play. The main question is: Will they make a change? Finally, we end with some discussion regarding a rumor that COD will not be coming to last-gen consoles, and we give our thoughts on if this is a good or bad idea. There is also big news with season 3 being delayed, and share our hopes as to why this delay happened, and what we may expect.

Welcome to episode #211 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

In this episode, we cover the past week of matches with the 2nd and last minor right around the corner. We have some teams that have continued to make big strides as a team, and some that are raising some serious concern. For us, the Breach have continued to struggle, and taking the fight to the top teams seems more distant than it ever has this season. We share our thoughts on the team, and what we believe could be part of their problem. Along with this, the biggest shock has been the downward trend of OpTic. They have continued to struggle, and going into the minor, very few are keeping the faith that they will be able to bounce back in time, and especially with their own major right around the corner. We continue our thoughts on this matter, and cover lots of the rumors as to why they are struggling, as well as some solutions that have been brought up.

With the minor just wrapping up, what are your thoughts on the Boston team with their current placement? Welcome to episode #210 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

In this episode, the CDL has finally returned, and we’ve got some new faces in the league, and some returning ones as well. We have Pred returning to OpTic, and Neptune joining the Vancouver Surge. OpTic has been off to a very slow start, going 0-2 in matches, and 0-6 in map count. On the other hand, Vancouver pulled off a close win against FaZe. Neptune has found his spot on this team, and has improved them dramatically, but OpTic has not looked the same since major 1. Some serious debate has been around the fate of OpTic, and we give our opinions on the future of those players, and our response to the OpTic “fans”,

Welcome to episode #209 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

In this episode, we cover some big news that came as a shock to some, and was expected by others. Pred was officially announced back onto the starting roster for OpTic, and Huke has been let go as a free agent. The debate lies in if this is the correct move for OpTic. After a lackluster Major 1 performance, they need to bounce back in this second split, and with Pred’s time off and potentially higher ceiling as a player, speculation has risen if he will be the piece that makes OpTic compete against FaZe and Thieves. With Huke being a free agent, questions have risen as to where he will go, and who’s spot he will be taking, as we discuss the lack of changes within the bottom teams despite poor Major 1 performances. Finally, we close on the PSN shutdown, and the bigger discussion of how this issue is one of the biggest cons to gaming on a console, and the reliance on online servers to play even single player games.

In this episode, we start off with some much needed football talk as the superbowl is having another repeat year, and then we shift the conversation to the CDL and how the field is looking going into major 1. We share our thoughts on who we think is going to make it to Sunday, and who is going to be making an early exit. We then break down the season 2 roadmap for Black Ops 6, and there are some big quality of life changes coming. Firstly with the addition of the cross-play feature for console players, and a new perk that could change the game. There is a big emphasis on multiplayer and zombies this season, and little to none on warzone. Was this intentional?
