It’s official! The MWIII beta is finally here, and we finally have our hands on this game after what has felt like forever! Week 1 of the beta is officially underway, and we have been playing it as much as we possibly can! We still can’t forget about the MWII grind, which is quickly finishing up, but our focus is shifting towards the next entry in Call of Duty. We are very excited with what we have seen and played so far, and share all of our thoughts and critiques wrapping up week 1. Lots of good, and some things that need tweaking to turn this COD into a top 5 of all time. From the maps, to the guns and gear system, we give an extensive rundown on everything we’ve seen so far, and what we are looking forward to seeing in week 2, which will have some new maps and features as well.

In this episode, the beta for MWIII is right around the corner! We have some details that have come out regarding what we will be playing for the opening beta weekend on PS5, as well as some new details that will be relevant for when the full game releases. With these leaks, we have to stay composed and focused on finishing MWII up completely, as we have less time to finish the game at level 1250 and then produce our final review of the game before jumping into the next title. We are very excited to start a fresh game, and are hoping this title will be the defining one that puts COD back on the right track for the coming years!

In this episode, we have come to the conclusion of season 5 of MWII, and now have a full picture of what we will conclude this game with in season 6, as COD Next draws closer. With the final season roadmap shown, we give our thoughts on this last season, and how we feel they let off in some aspects, and also give us some of the best bundles we have seen in the game. Along with this, we share our thoughts on the skin for getting to level 1250, and what COD should do to help showcase your hard work in their titles, as this one and previous titles severely lack compared to older ones.

Welcome to episode #136 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

In this episode, the rumors and leaks surrounding MWIII have started to pick up again, as we draw closer to the beta and future COD Next event, where the multiplayer will be fully showcased. Some images surrounding the remastered Mw2 maps have surfaced, as well as a short clip of the movement that we will be seeing in the next title. We are beyond excited for the game after what we have seen, and we discuss the potential for these remastered maps in this game, and in future COD titles. Along with this, we draw close to the end of season 5, as we give our final thoughts on it, as our focus shifts towards the final stretch in season 6.

Welcome to episode #135 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

In this episode, we give one of our final talks on the progression in season 4 of MWII, as we come to the final days, and then moving on to season 5 to wrap the game up. Despite it being the end of the game, we have continued to grind out the levels in pubs and in ranked, and are still shocked to see hacking being a big part of the ranked experience. We share our opinions on the matter, as well as our goals in ranked for season 4 and going into season 5. Along with this, we did hear some news about the future of COD, and that being with COD 2025. Rumor is that this game will feature all remastered Black Ops 2 maps at launch, similar to what MWIII is doing this year. We give our thoughts on this, and discuss if this is a wise move going forward within Call of Duty.

We have seen specific gear from each class and what they do, and so far we are very optimistic! Along with this, there have been some new additions to MWII in the season 5 reloaded that are very random, and look to be things that are maybe being tested for MWIII? We have Alyssa “Allycxt” Parker, a very well known streamer, founder of WxC, and a member of the Call of Duty League as an analyst and caster. We have the opportunity to learn about her early beginnings in gaming, and how the road from casual gaming led to a path towards competing in Call of Duty, to an email that got her started as a caster on the professional side of COD. We then lead into how she took this following to grow her following as a streamer, and then deciding to be a pioneer in developing the first women’s Call of Duty league. She is a trailblazer in an untouched realm of Call of Duty, and we dive into the reasoning behind it, and what she hopes to accomplish within the coming years inside the gaming space.
