Life hits hard sometimes, doesn’t it?  Like when your children are hurting, or your job is disappointing; or like when your country is going crazy, or when your church faces another round of, whatever! If we're honest, in those times how we really feel is, “I hate this.”   

We want to run from the trials and pains and sufferings, but the way of Jesus is to embrace them and enter into them.  Only in facing the adversity are we made stronger and perfected.  To run from trouble is to embrace weakness.
