It's more than just physical! Over the past 15 years of my career working with the body and the mind, I have learned that anything you have going on physically with your health, also has a mental and emotional counterpart. In this episode I brake down different parts of the body and what effects our bodies from a mental and emotional place. I also share from my own personal healing journey, as well as different experiences with clients over the last 15 years. Finally I give you some great resources I love using to dive even deeper into the mental and emotional connection to your physical body's health.

There is a connection between our Body and Trauma, because trauma is something that is actually stored in the limbic part of our brain. The part that is responsible for our reactions and responses. Some of our habitual responses are a form of trauma response, whether from a big trauma event or from small micro traumas and stresses. In this episode I talk about the connection between the brain and the body, and how the Body can be used to heal our deeper traumas.

What does it mean to come from and lead from the body? To listen to the wisdom and truth that lives within? And what would it be like to feel our way forward from our inner alignment felt within the body?

On this episode we are diving into the felt relationship of our own inner authority. How often do you find yourself listening to everyone around you but not really trusting or listening to your own intuition, inner truth, or inner voice? Let's explore together then, what it means to listen to your body, where your inner wisdom lives, connect with your intuition, and begin to open your awareness to the truth that lives within.
As we go through this episode, check in with yourself. How do you experience your intuition? How has it shown up in your life?
Our Body is a powerhouse of intelligence, wisdom, and receptivity to the world around us. But our culture and societies teach us to value our brain over our body. We learn to judge the body, ‘fix’ the body, ignore the body, and listen only to our head. This perpetuates a cycle of disconnection, leaving us out of alignment, functioning as merely half beings.
