Stay tuned for another eventful "2 for 1" blast this Sunday with back to back airings of The Comic Shoppe at 6pm and Afronerd Radio at 7pm (EST).  The topics up for grabs for the Comic Shoppe are: Dburt, Captain Kirk and Daryll B. submit their proposals for a plausible JLA movie treatment; Men in Black 3 returns to big business; DC and Marvel enter the LGBT debate with new twists on old characters; a Kickstarter comic book campaign gains traction and lastly, our favorite graphic novel reads from the previous week.

And then there's the piece de resistance: Afronerd Radio interviews, filmmaker/photographer, Hilton Ruiz regarding his latest book entitled, The Forty-Deuce: The Times Square Photographs of Bill Butterworth, 1983-1984.  Mr. Ruiz will discuss not only his book but also the forgotten red light culture of New York City's famed Times Square district.
