Jace and Jay talk about the new comics hitting shops for the week of February 16, 2022. Maniac of New York is Jay's Book of the Week as Maniac Harry visits one of the most iconic places in NYC. The excellent series Deep Beyond comes to a close in a very satisfying way, while the Reckoning War ramps up in Fantastic Four & Queen Goblin & Doctor Octopus continues their villainous ways in Amazing Spider-Man & Superior Four respectively.

Jace and Rocky take a close look at the DC Comics titles hitting comic shops for the week of February 15, 2022. The Flash and Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow are especially great this week. We also get the conclusion of the Aquaman The Becoming series, but it is clearly not the end of the story and neither is the final issue of Nubia and the Amazons. Both of these stories will be continued in upcoming DC events. Detective Comics also remains a very compelling read as does Nightwing.

Jace takes a break from the regular series to check out a could of issues of Curse Of The Spawn that fit right in between #20 & #21 of the regular series. First we get the tragic origin of Overt-Kill and his family in #23. Then in #24, we meet an intriguing & extremely dangerous individual that is dispatched to take out the newly christened Overt-War, but he turns defies orders & expectations when he redirects Overt-War to take out those who he felt had been unjustly holding him. We bet we haven't seen the last of the man code-named, Pandemic.

Batman heads to New York City to solve a case involving the homeless and Russian Cyborgs. When he meets Spawn the two of them clash in several epic battles before ultimately uniting to defeat a deranged common foe. When they part it isn't exactly as friends or even allies, but they did manage to do a lot of good by working together.

Jace has a long in-depth conversation with Brian Michael Bendis as the writer hits his 30th Anniversary working in comics. From his upcoming second volume of the breakout character Naomi, to the futurism inspired Joy Operations, to Ultimate Spider-Man and the creation of Miles Morales, they discuss it all and so much more.
