A monster hunter comes to NYC searching for Spawn. He has Al believing that his costume is a killer and that Spawn himself may be a vampire. When the dust clears, Spawn is more at peace with himself and the monster hunter stands revealed as something must more diabolical than we first might have believed.

Jace is joined once again by Blake Whitlow as the guys take a close look at Spawn continuing his travels through hell. Now traversing the fourth level, Al Simmons is tortured psychologically and forced to confront the idea that what he professes to love may not be what he loves most. In the end he has something taken from him by order of Malebolgia and what the long term effects may be remains to be seen.

Jace is joined by Blake Whitlow, creator of the Spawn Reading order we are using for Spawn Daily. They guys break done the HUGE issue #50 with many important plot points going forward the greatly impact the story of All Simmons, Wanda and Terry. A lot of the plot threads that have been building over the last few years are resolved or greatly impacted by the events of this anniversary issue.

Jace chats with writer Jim Zub about his upcoming Thunderbolts title with artist Sean Izaakse. They chat about the history and legacy of the team and how they represent the idea of the Marvel Age as much or more than any other ream in the Marvel Universe. Plus we hear about how the choices for who would be on the team were made.

Jace talks about the Angela mini-series from writer Neil Gaiman as we find out how Angela was backed into a corner and forced to team up with Spawn. Also the series leads into Spawn's arrival in the American south and why he arrived there so weakened.

Jace and Jay talk about the new comics hitting shops for the week of February 16, 2022. Maniac of New York is Jay's Book of the Week as Maniac Harry visits one of the most iconic places in NYC. The excellent series Deep Beyond comes to a close in a very satisfying way, while the Reckoning War ramps up in Fantastic Four & Queen Goblin & Doctor Octopus continues their villainous ways in Amazing Spider-Man & Superior Four respectively.

Jace and Rocky take a close look at the DC Comics titles hitting comic shops for the week of February 15, 2022. The Flash and Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow are especially great this week. We also get the conclusion of the Aquaman The Becoming series, but it is clearly not the end of the story and neither is the final issue of Nubia and the Amazons. Both of these stories will be continued in upcoming DC events. Detective Comics also remains a very compelling read as does Nightwing.
