Jace talks about the Violator mini0series where we meet all 4 of the demons brothers for the first time. Plus we learn how the Violator got his powers back after Malebolgia removed them and trapped his minion in the clown body he uses to hide out on earth.

Jace takes a break from the regular series to check out a could of issues of Curse Of The Spawn that fit right in between #20 & #21 of the regular series. First we get the tragic origin of Overt-Kill and his family in #23. Then in #24, we meet an intriguing & extremely dangerous individual that is dispatched to take out the newly christened Overt-War, but he turns defies orders & expectations when he redirects Overt-War to take out those who he felt had been unjustly holding him. We bet we haven't seen the last of the man code-named, Pandemic.

Batman heads to New York City to solve a case involving the homeless and Russian Cyborgs. When he meets Spawn the two of them clash in several epic battles before ultimately uniting to defeat a deranged common foe. When they part it isn't exactly as friends or even allies, but they did manage to do a lot of good by working together.

Jace has a long in-depth conversation with Brian Michael Bendis as the writer hits his 30th Anniversary working in comics. From his upcoming second volume of the breakout character Naomi, to the futurism inspired Joy Operations, to Ultimate Spider-Man and the creation of Miles Morales, they discuss it all and so much more. It turns out his costume has grown beyond his control and Spawn ends up needing the help of Cogliostro to be free

Jace and Jay talk about the new comics hitting shops for the week of February 9, 2022. Bylines in Blood from AfterShock and Amazing Spider-Man 88.BEY are real highlights for the guys. They also give a run down on some other books you might want to be on the lookout for.

Spawn realizes that changes need to be made and confides in his friend Billy that he is going into hiding. Cogliostro continues to implore Spawn to take some agency over his existence and tells Simmons that hiding out accomplishes nothing. Meanwhile Sam and Twitch receive a mysterious envelope of evidence and an offer to meet with the mysterious messenger, but might it all be a set-up by Jason Winn?

It's a massive episode covering ALL the DC Comics for the week of February 8, 2022. Not only do we get 16 books, two of them are anthologies. Plus the debut issue of Suicide Squad Blaze is a giant 48 pages! Joker #12 and Titans United were real highlights, Tam Batman #6 is the perfect jumping on point and the perfect pacing continues in Detective Comics.
